Fantastic experience: The team at muscle and spine is WONDERFUL!!! They helped me so much with my sprained ankle and they got me out of my "boot" very quickly. They improved my ankle mobility and my ankle strength which helped my balance and will help me not to fall again!! They pinpoint the issues and work towards making fast improvement. I am a repeat patient and have been there in the past for my knee. I will not go anywhere else! EXCELLENT!!!!

Fantastic experience: My left knee was replaced in November 2020 and my recovery was 100% thanks to Dr. Hayley and PTAs Hope and Kelly. When I returned to Muscle & Spine after my right knee was replaced in July 2021, Dr. Bob noticed that my right knee was not responding to physical therapy as well as my left knee had. Dr. Bob did a thorough assessment and determined that my right hip had not recovered from my hip replacement surgery twenty years ago. I had been taking steps one step at a time instead of alternating feet since 2003! Now I am 95% better able to ascend and descend stairs, and I am confident that I will reach the remaining 5% as I continue my prescribed exercises at home. I had the pleasure of working with Hope and Kelly again, who are dedicated to helping their patients succeed in meeting their therapy goals. This time I also enjoyed working with Katilyn, who went above and beyond in challenging me and coming up with fun ways for me to meet my exercise goals.

Fantastic experience: I have to say I was very skeptical going in to therapy as I have struggled for many many months with back pain. My experience with Ben has totally changed my outlook. After 8 weeks with him I feel like a new person! I am doing things I haven't done in almost a year! Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Muscle and Spine for all physical therapy needs. I have gone there after knee replacement, another time avoiding rotator cuff surgery, another avoiding hip surgery and recently the PT remedied low back pain. They are my “go to” place for joint pain relief!!! Dr. Ben listens carefully, analyzes thoroughly and recommends exercise/stretching that creates the pain relief sought after. Fantastic experience: Exactly what I needed! I came in with limited range of motion in my neck with pain. Now in less than two months, I have full range of motion with little to no pain. Dr. Ben taught me not only how to stretch and build muscle for my neck and back, but helped me to understand the reason why to implement these into my everyday life, so I can keep doing whatever it is that I want to do without limitations. Fantastic experience: From the receptionist, to the Physical Therapy Assistants, to the doctors, everyone was so kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and concerned. I had Dr. Bob as my doctor while I was there for almost 2 months. He is such a smart doctor who is dedicated to trying to help you with whatever is going on with your body. He is respectful. funny, and so very patient when I asked probably too many questions. But he always answered them until what he was explaining finally sunk in. I would never go to another rehab facility except this one. It is top notch and Battle Creek is so fortunate to have this group of people who are there to help us with our issues. Thanks, Dr. Bob, and your team, for helping me! I have been telling anyone I know who is looking at physical therapy that they need to go to you.

Fantastic experience: I have been extremely satisfied with the care that I received at Muscle and Spine. I had a very severe foot injury and required several months of physical therapy. If it weren’t for Muscle and Spine, I would not have made the progress I attained. There were several things that impressed me about Muscle and Spine. They take a vested interest in their patients. You feel like you are family not just someone coming in for physical therapy. Each time a new exercise was given to me, it was explained in detail. At Muscle and Spine you work as a team. I appreciated them asking if I had any specific goals in addition to the therapy goals designed for me. They LISTEN. Whether it was me asking why I might be feeling a certain sensation in my foot or me wanting their input on something related to my injury, they would answer my questions or give sound advice. Although I have completed my physical therapy, they made sure I went home with exercises I can do on my own. Muscle and Spine went above and beyond for me. I appreciate the friendliness and care I received from everyone there. A special thanks to Bob and Hope for getting me back on both feet.

Fantastic experience: Now, two years later, I am back for work on my arm, elbow, shoulder after a slip and fall while traveling. I remain ecstatic with my care. Staff is professional, personable but not intrusive. Availability is great considering my frequent trips out of town. Progress is consistent and steady, aggressive without going to the extreme. Measured but challenging. Very pleased! I have had a lot of therapy since I turned fifty...both arms, shoulder, right hip, upper leg and a shattered tibia. Muscle and Spine provided the shoulder therapy several years ago and most recently for strengthening my core and relieving discomfort from hip pain. Treatment was on point. Care was professional and personal without being intrusive. Respectful at all times. Questions were answered timely and in a manner that made sense and contributed to a better understanding of all the nuances for good health and movement. Very pleased! Fantastic experience: Dr. Ben is amazing. I went to Muscle and Spine for my elbow and received exceptional care from Dr. Ben and the entire staff. The best experience by far was the dry needling I had done. The release of the pressure points allowed my elbow to heal. I highly recommend dry needling!

Fantastic experience: Excellent place for physical therapy, I went in because I broke my foot and was having trouble with my shoulder cup. I am now pain free in the foot and no longer wearing a brace. And my shoulder is working much better and able to have more movement and larger range of motion with my arm and shoulder. Dr Benjamin Smith is outstanding! Thank you for such good care. I highly recommend you go to them for your muscle & spine and pain issues.. I mentioned it to my Doctor and she was please to know that i gave them a 5 recommendation but really they are a10 star place.

Fantastic experience: After dislocating my shoulder that resulted in two fractures, my shoulder froze. When I walked into Muscle and Spine the first time I had no use of my left arm and experienced a tremendous amount of pain if I tried to move it at all. Over the past few months the awesome team at Muscle and Spine Rehab helped me one day at a time with a variety of exercises and stretches that has me almost as good as new. I've been equipped and educated on how to continue the activities at home. It was such a comfortable and personal environment in which to rehab from a significant injury. Great team. Great results. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Was having frequent headaches and overall tension in my neck and shoulders. Started pt with Dr Ben and within 3 weeks the headaches stopped. He showed me how to stretch and strengthen the muscles at home so I hopefully don't experience that pain again. Everyone at Muscle and Spine is friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I had a lower back injury and therapy was recommended by my Dr. I attended therapy here at muscle and spine center. The all the therapist are very nice and knowledgeable. After my first session when things got rough they changed exercises immediately to somthing more fitting. And I am much better after only 5 weeks of thereopy I am back 100%. You gotta do your.part and do the exercises they prescribe to get better

Fantastic experience: Came here after pretty major shoulder surgery. Finished up PT today. The most incredible people. Really feels like you are their only patient. I was hoping to get 75% range of motion. Today I am at a pain free full range. Dr.Ben had a program set up that was amazing, Kelly and Hope kept me working hard when I didn’t have Ben. Tammy behind the desk was fantastic, she worked with me through a couple of schedule changes.I definitely recommend Muscle and Spine for any rehab.

Fantastic experience: Had ACL reconstruction surgery in June, started at muscle and spine rehabilitation center in July, I had my last session as of today and I can say my knee is back to normal. I had a great time here, Kelly and Ben are willing to help with anything, willing to answer any questions you have. If you are looking for a physical therapy place I 100% recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Was experiencing mild localized lower back pain associated with my cycling activity. Dr. Ben provided exercises and stretching that resolved the situation within a very short time. I’m back on my bike without pain and an increase in power output as well! Fantastic experience: I was referred to Muscle & Spine after bulging a disc in my lower back. I worked with Ben for my sessions and have finished my last one feeling tons better than my first. I had never done physical therapy before, so I didn't know what to expect but Ben was incredibly patient with me learning and was overall great to work with. I'd highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I recently had shoulder surgery and went to Muscle & Spine for rehabilitation. I was very nervous and anxious after my surgery. I mostly worked with Dr. Ben who is amazing! Right from the beginning he made me feel comfortable and talked me through the process of mobility and strength. He always took the time to answer my questions and explain things in detail—he knows so much! He made sure to keep me progressing nicely and helped to build the confidence I needed. With a gentle nudge, he sometimes knew my capabilities more than I knew myself. He also provided a big variety of things to do and continuously added new and challenging activities to support my progression. The entire staff are very friendly and welcoming. Muscle & Spine is most definitely recommended!

Fantastic experience: Came for core strengthening and stretching to help prevent progression of my scoliosis. Dr Bob gave me a custom exercise routine to continue at home. Cool exercise app was created so I can review the prescribe exercises to check my form. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: I came to Muscle and Spine to get relief from upper posterior leg pain of unknown origin at the recommendation of my ortho PA. Dr. Smith and his associates worked with me on several simple exercises that effectively relieved the pain in a matter of just a couple of weeks. Before my therapy, I couldn’t drive more than one half hour before having to stop and walk off the pain. I can now drive several hours pain free, as well as other activities that had been limited. Very grateful for the help. Everyone at Muscle and Spine is very friendly and professional. Recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: I have struggled with back pain for awhile now but with in the last year or so it had became much worse. I would have so much pain in my lower back and right leg that I couldn't walk sometimes. Daily activities were very painful for me, I had tried a chiropractor for a few and I thought it was helping but soon realized it only put a band-aid on the issue. My doctor ended up witnessing the pain I was dealing with at a normal yearly check up and referred me to Muscle & Spine Rehabilitation Center. Never being to a physical therapist i didn't know what to expect and honestly didn't believe it would help but after only 8 visits with Benjamin I see light at the end of the tunnel. He has been great and really helped give me the tools I need to prevent further pain and even reduce daily pain. I am so grateful for Ben and this place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone dealing with lower back pain.

Fantastic experience: After having my Total Hip Replacement I went to muscle and spine for my rehab,and they were Great. Dave was my main therapist, along with Hope they were very competent, giving me all the encouragement I needed, suggestions on how to do my exercises different if need be. I would strongly recommend Muscle and Spine to everyone for their rehabilitation for anything.

Fantastic experience: The team is awesome. They not only work through the physical therapy but give you encouragement every step of the way. I was being treated for frozen shoulder, and they adjusted the treatment to the level of my pain and lack of flexibility. I would recommend the whole team for any physical therapy. Fantastic experience: Everything was excellent! Friendly and great service/personnel! I went there with low back pain problems. Physical therapist Ben did my assessment, identified my problems and started a combination of exercise and electrical stimulation therapy. My treatment took a month and two months after, my mobility increased. I was able to ski and exercise again. Ben solved my current problem and taught me a set of exercises that helps alleviate my low back pain in my daily life.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Muscle and Spine after breaking my wrist. The office staff is very welcoming and just sets a great tone for patient care. Bob explained everything very thoroughly and my six weeks of therapy began. I was given exercises to do at home and one on one guided exercises in their modern, spacious and very clean facility. I always felt like I knew what to expect and where I stood in the healing process as it was always communicated to me. I would highly recommend Bob and his staff for any of your physical therapy needs. They are my number one choice!

Fantastic experience: Following a total knee replacement surgery procedure, I selected Muscle and Spine Rehabilitation for my Physical Therapy needs. From the moment I first entered the office, I was impressed with both the staff and the facility. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My initial evaluation was performed by Hayley and she was the one that I worked with the most. She is very knowledgeable and down to Earth, and was quite helpful in developing a plan to meet my individual rehabilitation goals and needs and in communicating those goals and needs to me. I looked forward to every visit! OK, maybe not everything about each visit, but it takes hard work sometimes to get the best results that you can expect. With each visit over the course of several weeks, I felt myself progressing. Finishing up my last session today, I am very pleased with my overall result. I am getting used to my new knee, have less pain, more flexibility, added some strength and are more confident using steps, getting into/out of the shower, the car, and the like. My balance has also improved quite a bit. Again, I owe this to Hayley's excellent instruction and attention to detail in planning my rehab. In the end, I wholeheartedly recommend Muscle and Spine Rehabilitation for your Physical Therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: If you're tempted to go to a larger or more well known physical therapy facility like Bronson or Borgess, DON'T DO IT. Muscle and Spine Rehabilitation Center is where you need to be! Every member of the staff is genuine and caring. They treat their patients as if they're taking care of their own family members. I worked with Teri and Ben and they were both great! I was having problems with my neck and arm and it was a bit of a tricky case, but they never gave up on me and were always willing to try new things in order to help relieve my pain. The building is cozy, clean, and welcoming. When you go there you feel like family. Thanks again to the whole Muscle and Spine staff!

Fantastic experience: I have been experiencing chronic low back pain for awhile. My doctor recommended physical therapy so I decided to try Muscle and Spine. My experience here has been great! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Ben did my initial assessment, identified what my issues were, and then he and Teri provided the physical therapy to help get me back on track and alleviate my low back pain. They also gave me a number of exercises to do at home to help ensure that I keep my back and core stable going forward...Very pleased with the results! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I typically do not give a review, but this is truly one of the most positive experiences medically I have had. I have never had to have physical therapy, so not knowing what to expect, i was so please with how professional, and kind everyone in the office was. Dr. Bob and Teri are fantastic!!! I was surprised how quickly it worked. I will recommend this to everyone, you are not going to get better care anywhere. You know they all enjoy their jobs by how well they take care of their patients.

Fantastic experience: The service was amazing. They personalized my rehabilitation to fit my exact needs. They gave me exercises to do at home to help with my back pain, as well as strengthen my core to better support my lower back. While also performing these exercises in the fitness center to make sure I was doing them properly so I could get the best results from the exercises. The people were also absolutely amazing, not only were they friendly but they even made small talk while I did my exercises making it fly by and enjoyable. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! I will miss seeing them all twice a week:)

Fantastic experience: After having hurt my back, following long car rides, with lots of golf sandwiched between, I was referred to the muscle and spine rehab center. Before my first visit, I was still in a lot of pain but I was encouraged by my PT wife that I was making a good decision as she had heard great things about the center staff. On my first visit I was kindly greeted by reception staff and my PT Ben. The evaluation that Ben provided was spot on...i.e. he knew I overdid it golfing and that I probably didn't stretch properly and/or enough before golfing (and driving). After Ben administered therapy he gave me some stretches and exercises to do at home (homework). I returned to see Ben 48 hours later feeling a whole lot better and with much improved mobility and decreased pain. Over the course of my next six visits, with additional back and core strengthening stretches and exercises administered at the center and added to my home routine, I was soon back to golfing on a regular basis. In all honesty, my core is stronger than it has been in a long time and I have better flexibility and mobility. Moreover, I'm sincerely motivated to keep it up because "I haven't got time for the pain! Naturally, I should have listen to my knowledgeable and goodly wife who all along said, "you need to be stretching," but I can honestly say that I am so glad I went to the Muscle and Spine Rehabilitation Center. Ben is a great guy and a terrific PT.

Fantastic experience: The muscle and spine therapists are the best. The are very concerned with your recovery. If there are any questions about your condition they are always clear in their explanations. They are also very good to you, cheery and personable. They help you to achieve your personal goals to the best of your abilities. I have had therapy in several places throughout the years, but they are the best. You will always be greeted with a smile and you will miss them when your therapy is complete. I highly recommend Muscle and Spine.
