Bronson Battle Creek Hospital

Fantastic experience: My daughter spent 7 weeks in Bronson intensive care while visiting from Cleveland. From the emergency room staff to all the nurses, doctors, respitory, cleaning staff was absolutely stellar. We are home in Cleveland and have been in the hospital many weeks and never experienced the friendliest and team work we saw at Bronson! You were all amazing , we can't thank you enough!

Fantastic experience: Had to take my two year old in for a dog bite. Unfortunately she needed stitches on most of the right side of her face. The nurses were great they really took care of her as well as my husband and i.

Fantastic experience: They were life savers for me. We normally go to oaklawn because we live near by. But oaklawn REFUSED to take my sick baby seriously at all. I took him here and he was treated with compassion and understanding. The doctors were amazing, the nurses were amazing. My poor baby ended up testing positive for salmonella. Now I didn't appreciate them calling the cops on me for not picking up his meds when I had no idea they even called any in. No one called me, I got the results after a police officer came to my house and told me to contact them. It had not occurred to me that they didn't have my number. I was more panicked about my baby to even remember if they had asked me. But that didn't need to happen. Otherwise my son got the care he needed that he was denied by oaklawn. Clean hospital overall, well maintained and not dated like oaklawn. I'll come back as long as I'm not treated like a child abuser over stuff I was not aware of. Older woman in triage was such a lovely caring person.

Positive experience: Friendly and experienced staff. They were able to diagnose and treat my son effectively. There was a very long what in the ED, but once in a room, the treatment was very efficient. I had all my questions answered and felt my concerns were addressed. I would recommend Bronson for all my health needs.

Fantastic experience: My nephew has been in CCU for 6 days now and every nurse, doctor, phlebotomist, EVS worker, etc. have been amazing! They have treated him with dignity and respect and have kept us up to date on his condition. We could not ask for better care and we are very thankful!

Fantastic experience: Had knee replacement at Bronson and everyone has been extremely helpful and friendly From doctors to nurses and housekeeping also the food workers they all were nothing but professional and great. I really appreciate all the great help I received while there.---------- This is two weeks later and I had left my long phone charger plugged into the wall in my room. Two my surprise in the mail today was a large white envelope with my charger inside. Once again I would like to thank all the people I encountered on my journey to a new knee you were wonderful!!! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I was out of town training when I became sick. I stopped at Bronson. They saw me right away and I was in surgery by ten. I stayed 4 days and returned for an out patient surgery. Dr Bronson was very kind and explained everything to me. New job so between insurance but they still took very good care of me. Thank you all so much! I can't recommended highly enough.....

Fantastic experience: I was in the Hospital room 207 for a week. Spinal meningitis. I received the best care the whole time up there. The Doctors we so caring, informative and kind. Every nurse was attentive and caring to my every need. I am so blessed that I was there. I believe I even built relationships with the staff. It was Wonderful! I thank God for everyone there.

Fantastic experience: I found this hospital extremely well organized and exceptionally clean. I registered with their system and then was shown exactly where I was supposed to go for my texts. When logging into their charting system, I am able to completely manage appointments, review test results, leave messages for my provider, and much more. Their complete system is user friendly. Workers are extremely well educated in their expertise, they answer all your questions, make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Thank you Bronson Hospital staff!

Fantastic experience: During the last several years a member of my family has received two major surgeries, extensive cancer care, and made several trips to the Emergency Department for illnesses. In almost every visit I accompanied her. The medical treatments she received have been effective, reasonably timely and compassionate. Reaffirming rating 2/2021. Grateful for these fine professionals.

Fantastic experience: i am nobody, a poor person on disability and medicare, yet I've had a team of surgeons, anaesthesialogists & internists saving my life since 4/6 the hospital is terribly understaffed & we are running low on many supplies, yet these people keep going as for ER "taking too long"... there's a process called "triage"-and, maybe...MAYBE you aren't the most important person at that moment give healthcare workers a break, and give every american medicare for all✊

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience there today! I was in rheumatology, and the lab for X-rays and blood work. Everyone I had an encounter with was really sweet! Dr. Swafford was thorough and great to talk with. The X-ray technician was super sweet, gentle and explained everything she did, the lady who drew my blood really made me laugh! Thank you for the great experience!

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Donovan S. In Blood draw... We took our anxious autistic son to have blood drawn, and Donovan was AMAZING!! Our son never flinched, and let him do it... Thank you so much, we've been trying to get this done for awhile and he has never let anyone.. Donovan you ROCK!!!!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter needed medical assistance, and we were hesitant about going to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital due to hear say and posted comments. But, due to circumstances, took her to ER around 9:00 PM last night. We were treated very well by every staff member, and our daughter was thoroughly checked, treated, and given specific instructions prior to being released. The one person we especially would like to thank for his professionalism is Nurse Calvin S. This nurse and his associates, were outstanding!

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with every single aspect of care my mom has received here. EVERYONE here is kind, professional, and organized; it’s pretty astonishing actually. She knew she would be more at ease in a smaller hospital than Ann Arbor. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but felt assured from Day One that she was in really good hands getting the best care possible. Having a positive experience here has been a big factor in her healing and recovery!

Fantastic experience: I love this hospital Ive been here for many things: My cousin gave me a drug and me being 16 willing to try new things I took the pill with no second thoughts, they rushed us in as quick as possible and they weren’t judging us for what happened they gave us respect and gave me and my cousin a bunny afterwards because a lady in the er will walk around for people under 18 offering playdo and stuffed animals to keep them calm because being in the er can be extremely stressful especially to little kids Another time I was here it was Because I had freaked out thinking I had an eptopic pregnancy terrified about losing my baby they treated me extremely nice a nurse even stayed with me when I went to get a vaginal ultrasound because I was only 6 or 7 weeks she held my hand the entire time I even told her my past story and why that type of ultrasound scared me they got me in really quick and told me really quick what I was having I recently went in for my gender ultrasound although they can’t release information about the baby medically they were able to tell me everything looks okay and that I’m having a girl, the ladies were really nice and they got me in fast for the ultrasound I slipped on ice the other day and had to go in they got me in after about 10/15 minutes it took a while due to other people needing to be seen worse then me, they told me it’s a fracture of some sort they couldn’t quite identify it but I’m seeing an orthopedic doctor in a couple days to answer what is actually up with my wrist either way both times they were extremely nice my friend was also in a week ago from overdose she’s okay thankfully but they got her in as quick as possible and they had to do a charcoal detox thing to her which helped her and after 12 hours or more she was aloud to eat and wanting to eat after sleeping off the drugs she had taken, I even went down to the cafeteria to get food with my brother and there food is really good, fresh salads, fresh meat, fresh desserts, everything is delicious and perfectly fresh if you’re ever there I recommend getting there food too

There's no women in this world that I would rather have, but these women are exceptionally wonderful and they have made my stay here the best ever I hate going home and one more lady I'll never ever forget and her name is . Fantastic experience: My husband got very sick about a year ago. Many tests done in Chicago with doctors there but never received a diagnosis. My husband continued violently vomiting almost daily for approximately 9 months when he finally agreed to allow me to take him to Bronson ER. They got him in immediately and he was admitted. Before he was released a week later, the same tests run in Chicago were run again, this time by the doctors at Bronson. We received updates daily and a diagnosis within a week. Although the diagnosis was not what we were hoping for, at least we know what we are going to be facing. The doctors and staff were compassionate and willing to help us understand my husband's condition. We truly appreciate those who touched our lives during my husband's stay! Thank you Bronson Hospital!
