Fantastic experience: SPORTSCARE helped me get back to my normal day to day life activities after being injured at work. Such injury made me think I would’ve give up my fun activities including running (I love running), when my first visit, the profesional staff assessment made me feel welcomed. Also, the physical therapist made sure my needs were met every time I visit during my recovery. Today I can confidently say that I feel about 100% back to normal—including starting to run again:) Thank you to the entire staff at SPORTSCARE!

Fantastic experience: The team here is awesome! I had pinched a nerve in my neck and was in a lot of pain and couldn’t fully extend or pick up more than a few pounds with one of my arms, but needed to compete in a taekwondo tournament in the next month. They were very honest about the recovery process (time and effort required) and worked with me to make a plan to get me back to the minimum required to be able to compete (and I was able to do so!). After a couple months I was back to 100% - thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: I must thank the team at SportsCare Physical. My entire experience from day one to "graduation" day was exceptional. Joe and his team were kind, understanding and always careful to make sure my needs during this process were met. They understand an injury in one part of the body affects the rest. Because of this, I received well rounded treatment that I feel helped me to heal faster and offered a better understanding of how my body mechanics work that will continue to help me as I move forward.

Fantastic experience: I’m an ER nurse (BSN RN) and have been coming to this clinic for over two months to heal from a workplace injury. This team deserves every single one of their five star reviews. Their whole team are so kind, and their PTs and PTAs are so knowledgeable and informative and helpful and understanding. Every time I go in the clinic, I learn more about my body and how to come back from this injury and how to do it safely, with their help. At my prompting they’ve even giving me excellent advice on how to safely reach my very long-term physical fitness goals; topics which are not even directly related to my current needs (though they of course have helped me tons with those as well). I would gladly recommend these guys to absolutely anyone, and all of my loved ones without hesitation. Thank you Alyssa and Joe and the whole team! You guys are fantastic and the people in the area are lucky to have you!

Fantastic experience: I can't find a way to express my gratitude to everyone at SportsCare Physical Therapy Beaverton. I spent about 6 months here recovering from a work related fall injury that had me fearing, literally terrified, that I would require a cane for the rest of my life. The staff and therapists were all so knowledgeable and friendly that I truly looked forward to my appointments even in the darkest moments of my recovery. I actively stuck to the program they assigned based on my unique set of injuries and slowly began to regain my ability to walk without a cane. It was one of the most difficult experiences I have faced. Throughout the entire process everyone was friendly, accomodating to my schedule, and willing to repeatedly contact the claims groups on my behalf. By the end, I had seen every therapist at least once and worked extensively with Jackie and Joe specifically. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable. I was pleased that they each explained things similarly, which increased my confidence in the work I was assigned. I was able to use that confidence to stay on course and accept small continued improvement, rather than dwelling on the active life I had lost. I want to express my deepest gratitude for all that you have done for me. So many times your joy and your encouragement lifted me out of the stress and burden of this devastating injury. Thank you sincerely for taking the time to explain things, push me, work with me and include my wishes in the plan of care.

Fantastic experience: I'm putting this review because of the care compassion,motivation, and assistance from all the staffing here at SportsCare PT. A big thanks to Alyssa and Jackie for pushing me and getting me back on the road to recovering. The knowledge of what exercises to do and when to stop were some of the best advice and care that I've ever received from a physical therapist. The tears I had in my muscles were something I never experienced before. What a long recovery time. Alyssa Zafuta helped me achieve amazing results for not only my left knee replacement but also for a hip replacement and other prior surgeries. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and personable all while gently guiding the recovery and strengthening process. Everyone I interacted with at the facility did so with a smile and fantastic attitude. Fantastic experience: My experience with getting treated here has been very good! I worked with Alyssa mostly, and she was attentive, knowledgeable, and was happy to answer all my questions. Fantastic experience: Going to physical therapy for my first time was honestly such an amazing opportunity. I got the chance to work with almost all the physical therapist at SportsCare and they challenged me by making sure the main priority was bettering my injury. I highly recommend going here:)

Fantastic experience: I have been seen here off and on for many years and have always been happy with the end results. They have treated me for back, hip and shoulder issues and I have always been pleased with the results. They are pleasant and optimistic and push me forward to the best results possible. Joe Shannon has been an excellent coach during rehab for a number of issues over the years. The staff is always positive and upbeat which means, to me anyway, that the working conditions are good. The facility is always spotless. If I could give them more stars, I would do so.

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 Total Knee Replacements. I could not have gotten healed without Sports Care Physical Therapy. Joe Shannon and Jackie Brown worked with me 3 days a week for 8 weeks. The attention to my progress was phenomenal and they gave me homework too so I felt like I had PT 7 days a week. I so highly recommend them. They even gave me exercises preop so I felt prepared going to surgery. Absolutely the best PT in town.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I had the opportunity to do my physical therapy here , for more reasons than I can write ! First and foremost the staff are amazing , Jackie , (MVP) who worked with me during my therapy, and she is a gentle soul who always listened , understood if I I had to reschedule , she was just super amazing !! Tony was also pretty awesome and always had a great positive outlook , they all treated me like I was part of the family!! I would only go here if ever I had to do this again,there is no other place that even compares!!! Everyone was awesome but those two were my favorites.!!!

Fantastic experience: My main PT was Joe, he did an awesome job with tailoring the exercises according to my need. My knee pain was gone towards the end of the PT sessions and I left the PT with no pain. He was very professional to work with, I couldn't have asked for a better trainer. Five stars!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Tony for an an achilies rupture. It’s safe to say this was easily one of the toughest moments of my life and a scary recovery. Not only did I fully recovery quicker than the normal average Tony was pleasant to be around and made every visit special. Hopefully I never have to come back, but if I ever have an injury again, Tony definitely makes the 2 hour commute worth it every time. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I threw out my lower back 3 days before coming here, tried acupuncture twice but was still in extreme pain. Had the pleasure of seeing Joe at SportsCare Physical Therapy, he was kind enough to work me in on short notice. He was attentive and listened to my issues and explained things well. Helped me immediately by doing a comprehensive assessment, ultrasound and TENS therapy, which helped alleviate the pain. Will definitely be returning for future appointments.

Fantastic experience: The people at sportscare really helped me when I was lost and down. I loved being able to come and connect with them and get help with my issues. I feel heard when I went with my questions. As well as being heard. I felt I was advocated for. All I can say is you wont be disappointed if you see them.

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t recommend the crew at SportsCare Beaverton, enough! During my training for an upcoming half marathon, I tweaked my back and couldn’t walk without pain. My doctor referred me to SportsCare and they reached out to me the next morning and got me in immediately— and had me feeling pain relief by the end of my first appointment! After seeing Joe and Jackie twice a week for a month, and following their treatment plan, I have not only been able to keep my back pain at bay, I feel stronger than I did before seeing them. Once my back pain subsided and I was able to run again (thanks to them it was just days, not weeks!), Joe analyzed my running stride and put me on a training plan to fix my stride so I wouldn’t cause further strain on my back. Finding the root cause of my injury and not just putting a bandaid on it, is so appreciated as it will help me stay active in the sport I love. Joe and team have given me a “toolbox” of stretches and strengthening exercises that I can easily incorporate into my busy week, and use to keep me running pain free. The entire team is professional, friendly and wonderful to work with, and it’s great to know I can see them anytime I need a “tune up.”

Fantastic experience: An all-around fantastic & professional care team! HIGHLY recommend! After tearing my ACL this spring, I needed help getting back on my feet and staying positive during the long road to recovery. The front desk superstars were able to quickly find me space in the schedule to pre-hab. Caleb was kind and encouraging, helping me to get my knee and my confidence in the best possible shape before my surgery with his knowledgeable care. (The pre-hab made all the difference in how quickly my knee recovered post-op.) Working with Joe post-operatively has been amazing too. He is kind and encouraging, a wealth of information and endlessly creative in challenging me to make steady progress. I'm so grateful for these excellent people (Avena, Jackie, and Tony, looking at you too!) for the top-notch care. High fives all around!

Fantastic experience: First time having to do physical therapy in a long time, and let me tell ya I’m extremely thankful I got referred to this location. My Physical Therapist, Joe, has been nothing short of fantastic. Same goes to the entire team. Not only are they all very friendly and flexible, but they take their time to make sure you understand the processes that are taking place. I would HIGHLY recommend Sportscare Physical Therapy to anyone looking for a welcoming physical therapy facility that’s full of professional and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this team. I was in a car accident last year and have been going to physical therapy here for a few months now. I’ve seen both Joe and Minori. Not only are they super knowledgeable, they are compassionate and they take the time to listen. They also educate you so you feel more confident in how you’re spending your time with them. The whole team is super personable. I lucked out when I chose them for my physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: I have had the best experience with SportsCare Physical Therapy in Beaverton. I've been accident-prone throughout my life and, as I've gotten older, have needed help on occasion to get me back to some semblance of normalcy. My work with Joe Shannon has been incredible. He is as kind as he is knowledgeable and insightful. He is a consummate optimist, which helps reframe the way that you think about how your body works and what it is telling you. Fantastic experience: Joe and Olivia are an amazing care team! Olivia provides personal care and attention to ensure you receive the treatments you need, when you need them. Joe is incredibly intuitive and very well educated in the most up-to-date science behind physical therapy and rehabilitation. He is able to accurately pinpoint issues and impediments causing pain and dysfunction, explain them so you understand, and effectively guide you through exercises and adaptive life habits so that you see immediate results. I simply can not recommend this team enough!! They make you feel better!

The gym is always super clean, the front desk staff/therapy assistants are beyond kind (especially Olivia, she’s amazing), and the exercise plans/treatments are easy to understand and actually work. Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to recommend SportsCare PT Beaverton for a while now, really can’t say enough good about them. I’ve worked with everyone there and they are all excellent. I mostly worked with Jackie and she is a treasure. After trying a Chiropractor, a Massage therapist and a CT scan I started my PT there. I was in pain, frustrated and had little hope of full recovery. Jackie and was always confident, encouraging and had a good plan in place. She’s very organized too, always finding ways to better things. Eventually I did heal completely, I was amazed. I feel better than ever because they taught me everyday skills too for work and home. The only problem with getting better is that I’ll miss my supportive PT team who really made my well being a priority.

Fantastic experience: I have always hated physical therapy. I ended up hurting worse or they were too hands on for my comfort levels. Everyone at SportsCare has made me actually look forward to my physical therapy. I have been to them twice in the last 3 years and they do not fail to amaze me. They are friendly, they listen and they have helped me both times. I will only go to them in the future, I just hope I don't have to

I have worked with Joseph, Jackie and Tony and have found them both professional and personable. They have been very good at pushing my therapy to the point that is manageable while making sure that my recovery progresses. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with SportsCare for different issues, but the most important were two knee replacements. Over two years, I have worked with Joe, Jackie, Tony, Caleb, and now a second Tony, as well as the office staff of Athena and Olivia. I cannot recommend them enough. My first recovery went great, my right knee feels as if brand new, and I have full range of motion. I have just begun with my left, and we are ahead of schedule. Their technical knowledge is second to none, but that you should expect from your PT group. Where they set themselves apart for me is their culture, attitude, and personal connection with patients. I now feel that I have friends here, people that care about my life, and I theirs. I've been there to see people become parents, be promoted to positions of greater responsibility, and celebrated with them. We exchange stories, recommendations for food, music, television shows. They work me hard, only as hard as I will allow, but make the experience as enjoyable as possible. I look forward to a time when I can stop by, just to say hello.

Fantastic experience: The therapists and staff at the SportsCare Physical Therapy in Beaverton are amazing. They are my ‘go-to’ whenever I have an injury or pain that I can’t seem to get past. As an older race walker, Joe, Jackie, and Tony brought me back to my sport after a bad injury that I thought would keep me from racing again. Their care for patients of all ages is stellar. I highly recommend this clinic.

Joe and Jackie and Olivia and team are sincerely incredible...I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is seriously looking to get better over any injury. I was lucky to find them when needing help to recover from a Crossfit sports injury to my shoulder....and, then to my knee (that ended up needing surgery and post-op therapy). They are friendly and professional and most importantly, super smart to know how to get better. This place seems to have all of the latest gadgets and technical wisdom. I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else for my PT needs.

Fantastic experience: I was approximately 3 plus weeks behind schedule after a major shoulder repair, scar tissue had already started setting in where I had very limited range of motion ( frozen shoulder) I could see the concern in my therapists (Tony) eyes in relation to the late start of rehab. Tony worked with me putting me through flexibility and range of motion drills stayed positive kept me focused , informed and educated me through out showing me muscular and skeletal images of the repaired areas of my surgery to help me better understand what was done. 6 months later I have full range of the repaired area. The discomfort although mild will go away in time. I want to thank and highly recommend Beaverton Sports care Physical Therapy. Tony and Joe are very knowledgeable, professional from the time when you first walk into the office the friendly staff will take care of you Thanks again Tony and Joe

Fantastic experience: I was referred to SportsCare Physical therapy in Beaverton by my surgeon, Dr. Gustav Fischer who performed a DSA total hip replacement surgery in October 2019. Luckily I was able to meet with Joe my PT for an initial consultation before my surgery so he was able to assess my condition pre and post-surgery which helped him to better understand my previous condition and physical limitations. From the initial check-in process through all stages of my PT the staff at SportsCare were super helpful and friendly which made the recovery process that more enjoyable. Joe is an excellent therapist and helped me to improve my mobility and strength in the new joint. He provided great guidance and support in helping me to regain the strength in my hip and muscular structure. If you want the best care and expert guidance I highly recommend Joe and his team for your post-surgery physical therapy needs!

Fantastic experience: The new location on Cornell has some really great equipment. I was having some trouble with my squat form and with the new rack there I was able to solve some knee pain and get back to a heavy regimen. Would definitely recommend Joe Shannon and SportsCare to others.

Fantastic experience: Joe Shannon and Tony Rosati are great physical therapist. I come twice a week for my post surgical therapy for my knee. Every time I come for an appointment they get me started right away. They answer my questions with all honesty, and always tell me what I need to improve to get better. They always have a positive attitude and really want the best for you. They are very helpful, and I have seen a big improvement on my knee, and I wouldn’t be where I am at today with out them. I get stronger and stronger every week, with their help and also the homework they assign me to do at home. Thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: Having had a horrible experience with a different physical therapy office, I was reluctant to visit SportCare. However, their amazing, knowledgeable, personable staff addressed not only my immediate needs, but also treated any other issues that were concerning my health, not directly related to my immediate injury. They treated me with respect, I felt heard and very well taken care of. Both Joe and Tony took great care of me, and equipped me with exercises and lifestyle changes to address my injury. After seeing several different specialists and getting no progress, ready to give up and live with the pain I found this place. Fantastic experience: I have worked with both Joe and Tony for my lower back pain and they are amazing! They take the time to ask me how I am doing and how I have been since they last saw me. They answer all my questions and are truthful about my progress. They communicate effectively with the other doctors involved with my back rehab, such as my chiropractor and main physician. Fantastic experience: I truly appreciated that whenever I had an appointment my therapist Tony would always be right on top of where we left off from my previous session. I also looked forward to my next appointment, because of my commitment to getting better. The location is very easy to find and I never had any problems with scheduling. My therapist help me stay focused mentally and physically to work towards getting stronger and stronger every weak. I finished 6 months ahead of time because of all the hard work from me and my therapist. Great team!
