Capstone Physical Therapy - Bakerview

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience going to Capstone on Bakerview. Shawn is a great PT, very knowledgeable but also very personable, Emily is an awesome PTA to work with, and the front desk staff are always kind and helpful. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Mark Mydan is a great hand specialist and helped me with my arthritic hands. His therapy achieved the goal set for my treated trigger finger. I have pain free flexibility with it now. His stretching exercises have really helped my hands. Mark took his time explaining why and how these exercises can help my fingers. He also explained how tendons are involved. His suggestions for warming my hands and wearing compression gloves helped in easing pain and stiffness in my fingers. Now I have a better grip which is a big help in doing everyday activities. Mark is a warm and friendly person. He made me feel like I was his only client. I would highly recommend Mark Mydan at Capstone Bakerview Clinic.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and accommodating staff. Jordan Crim is extremely knowledgeable. He did a great job explaining every stretch, adaption, and movement to help my foot. Now a month after my initial evaluation my foot (which has pained me for almost two years) has the most minimal of pain in the mornings. Thanks Capstone for your help ♥️

Fantastic experience: What a privilege we have to be guided in Physical Therapy rehab at Capstone PT Cordata on Bakerview. Shawn Marion provided a very thorough exercise program for my R ankle/foot torn tendon. His exceptional listening skills and encouragement helped build trust that the personal program built for me would bring healing. Attending all appointments and doing home exercises has indeed taken me from a full moon boot to an ASO brace to no brace and I have avoided surgery. I hold deep gratitude for the professional work you do. Thank you also to Emily my kind PT assistant and the office staff. You all serve our community with such wonderful, professional characters. Your dedicated skills are awesome. I highly recommend you all at Capstone Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: It was a pleasure working with Esther Yoon. Very knowledgeable on carpal tunnel injuries. Had simple exercises that you can do at home. Wrist is continuing to improve. Would highly recommend her for these type of injuries. Thanks again

Fantastic experience: I broke my elbow and was lucky enough to be referred to Mark Mydan for occupational therapy at Capstone. I attribute my rapid recovery in large part to Mark’s expertise and knowledge, and I feel fortunate that I was able to work with him for a few months. In that time, I regained nearly all of my range of motion and am nearly at full recovery, months before my doctor thought I would be. Thank you Mark!

Fantastic experience: Update 4/1/22: I want to add to this review to recognize Charlea because she is an amazing occupational therapist! She has been so helpful, patient, and understanding through my entire process of recovering from carpal tunnel / tenosynovitis. She listens to everything I have to say and provides the best care. Charlea genuinely cares about her patients and is awesome! I've had a great experience here so far! Having a physician that I trust and feel comfortable with is very important to me. If that is what you are searching for I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Their only Hand Therapist, Mark, helped me get use of my hand back following a complete fracture and dislocation in one of my fingers. He was helpful, patient, and kind, and I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Awesome personal care for my shoulder tendon and arm. Steve and Tyler they have a very professional, courteous team, friendly, polite and compassionate.I had great time recovering with these two gentlemen and Mark years ago also was great as my physical therapist for my broken hand and wrist (and also) helped me recover from a ridiculous cat bite that almost left my index ☝️ finger paralyzed.I highly recommend this place for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: This clinic has an awesome staff; Rachel and the other front desk staff were always friendly and made sure I had all my appointments scheduled ASAP. Jake and Kate were very helpful and found a way to use my strengths to work on the muscle groups I needed to rehab. Charlea helped put the strengthening to good use with thoughtful exercises and always made sure she wasn’t pushing me too hard. Everyone else was very friendly and encouraging I would highly recommend this clinic and staff to anyone looking to rehabilitate after an injury.

Fantastic experience: I just had a follow up appointment with my orthopedic surgeon, and he said that my progress has exceeded his expectations. Fantastic experience: After being injured at work, I went to a walk-in clinic to have my wrist looked at as I was experiencing a lot of pain. The doctor at the walk-in clinic referred me to Capstone Physical Therapy. I was not really sure what was going on with my wrist or why exactly I needed to go to OT. However in my fist appointment with Mark at Capstone, I gained so much clarity and understanding of what was going on. Mark (the occupational therapist) sat down with me and explained the anatomy and why I was having pain. He was concerned with my specific injury and thought it would be good for me to see an orthopedic surgeon. I went to see the Orthopedic surgeon upon Mark's recommendation, and as it turns out I did need surgery on my wrist because a tear in a ligament- just as Mark had predicted, which was not what the doctor I originally saw thought. Had it not been for Mark working with me and recognizing what was going on and explaining things to me so well I would not have seen the surgeon and would still have a torn ligament causing me lots of pain. I still am impressed with how knowledgeable the therapist here are, THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THINGS IS RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE SURGEON!!! Before and After surgery I got to work with both Mark and Mikal doing occupational therapy for my wrist. Not only were they knowledgable, they were personable, and understanding. When I was discouraged because I couldn't do hardly anything, they were there for me and encouraged me by helping me see what I could do, and understand the healing process my body was going though. I AM SOOOOOO GLAD I GOT TO WORK WITH MARK AND MIKAL AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CAPSTONE PT!!!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Will was outstanding. This was my first time ever needing physical therapy and I have learned so much about my health. It felt so welcoming and that I wasn't being criticized. I was able to open up and really know I was being taken care of. I was able to leave feeling stronger.

Fantastic experience: I came to Capstone months ago when I was referred by my doctor for forearm pain & cramping I'd been having. It was really rough and was preventing me from doing a lot of my work online from home, so I started doing physical therapy with Charlea. We spent time doing lots of stretches and exercises, and during the past month, I have barely felt any pain at all! I know that if I have any pain come back, or any other issues come up, I'll be coming to Charlea right away - she has been so awesome to work with!

Fantastic experience: Capstone was recommended to me by my doctor and the facility, therapist, and other staff were great. My Physical Therapist Sean was very friendly, professional and helpful and he provided me with some great stretches and exercises to strengthen my foot muscles and reduce my post surgery pain. I would highly recommend Capstone.

Fantastic experience: They have a grand variety of equipment and techniques to retrain your body after an injury. If an exercise hurts let them know and they give another one to help strengthen around the injury. Communication is key to recovery and these folks listened to me. Fantastic experience: I came in very discouraged dealing with this injury for the past year. However, when I arrived at Capstone Will was confident he could get me on a right trajectory . Will got my PT going with great success and Mark got me stabilized with weight lifting for my work conditioning. I found I was able to achieve a marked improvement in my range of motion, strength and endurance. I feel more confident returning to work . They were able to individualize a program to meet my needs. Fantastic experience: After being pinned under a motorcycle, the challenge was to get function to my broken shoulder, broken elbow, crushed wrist and fingers that no longer moved. The year ahead required therapy twice a week and two specialized therapists. Not only have Mark and Will always been able to pinpoint and work on exact areas of ever-shifting, ever-healing body parts, it was also about their irresistible positive energy, delightful humor, and genuine compassion. It was a lot of work, but the professionalism and enthusiasm of Mark and Will actually made it interesting and fun. Together with their carefully crafted home exercises, I am almost back to normal! My eternal heartfelt thanks to Mark, Will and their team. Their efforts are nothing short of incredible.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Capstone after getting elbow surgery earlier this year. I worked with Mikal at first and then Charlea Olmstead. When I went in, I could barely move my elbow and when I was done, I had full range of movement again. Charlea was amazing and helped guide me through the whole way and I would 100% recommend her and Capstone.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Capstone Cordata and the therapy I received was exceptional; from the personal interactions, receptionist, scheduling, physical therapy, printed exercises for home, and my improvement. My therapist, Will H, DPT, communicated with with me in a professional, positive manner. He assessed my injury, and on each visit we discussed the progress and modified exercises as I physically improved. I may even be in better shape than when I began. I highly recommend Capstone Cordata and would certainly return if I have a need in the future.

Fantastic experience: Mark was a real pro. Easy to work with, good teacher. I lost a lot of movement after breaking my wrist. Mark helped me develop exercises for stretching and strength. Almost back to normal now.

Fantastic experience: I saw Will at Cordota Physical Therapy for a sore hip. I wasn't able to ride my bike or perform simple bending activities without experiencing pain. Will identified the problem on the first visit and with some massage, stretching, and strength building exercises I am pain free today. I highly recommend both Will and Capstone Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: It was great to have my rehabilitation treatment at Capstone. Will was the best physical therapist that I could have. His recommendation helped me to have the motivation to heal. He offered late appointments. I recommend their great service and treatment.

Fantastic experience: I came to Capstone with a hip injury during the covid summer of '20. Dr. Will H helped me understand and recover from the injury and I felt safe at the clinic with the precautions taken by the staff there. The MedBridge smartphone app they provide really helped me keep track of the exercises I was doing and remember how to perform them correctly. Now I have the injury under control and am confident I can manage it should it become a problem again. Very happy with my experience; would come again.
