Fantastic experience: A state of the art new facility. Emphasis is on patient care and comfort which, sometimes, on ocassion, necissitates sacrificing the timely filing of government mandated reports.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of recovering from my hip replacement in this very comfortable and competent facility. I was truly impressed with the professionalism and compassion of the D.O.N I had some personal issues that I needed to have addressed and her hands on approach with the staff assured me I was in the right place for my rehabilitation needs. While No facility is perfect, the staff here clearly strive to be. If your looking for a place for yourself or a loved one and want to sleep well at night with the assurance your family member is in good hands, I would recommend Bend Transitional hands down. Fantastic experience: I have worked at BTC for 26 years, we strive hard to create a warm healthy, loving environment to help our clients heal. To our patients and our coworkers it feels like home to treat everything like family. We also strive to to give loved ones a great quality of life and do the best we can to meet each person individually with there needs. The great team work we have is awesome I could ask for a better team to work with.

Fantastic experience: I have worked at many facilities in Central Oregon since I became CNA. I’ve never had such a great work environment. The staff and the patients are amazing. The most understanding bosses ever! This is not only a great place to work but also a great place to have a loved one.

Fantastic experience: I have worked for this building since the beginning. Improvements have been made over the years and I feel like we have a great team working for us that show compassion for the career they chose. The staff strive to provide a healing environment for the patients to heal in preparation for the transition to home. I'd recommend this facility hands down for employment or in-patient care.

Fantastic experience: I've been working at BTC for over 2 years. I thoroughly enjoy my work environment and coworkers. I consistently feel my hard work is acknowledged and appreciated. Our nursing staff and management truly work around the clock to ensure resident needs are met, exceeded and that they feel cared for. This is a very rewarding place to be employed!

Positive experience: A mixed bag for sure. Administration is clueless & possibly incompetent; nurses are very good. I was sent from the hospital a day too early and had a medical emergency the first night. Administration had no idea what my medical needs were and hadn’t prepared. By noon the next day, the nurses had it figured out and had gotten the meds I needed. I never had another emergency there. I give the nursing staff high marks. The food is flat-out terrible. Some items on my tray were so bad I couldn’t even figure out what they were. I lost almost 20 lbs. while there. As others have mentioned, I also saw some long wait times after pressing the nurse button. Didn’t affect me much as I was ambulatory after the first day.

Fantastic experience: I stayed at BTC for 3 1/2 weeks to recuperate from a broken ankle and back surgery. I found the facility to be spotlessly clean, and the decor was very attractive. The staff was very kind and attentive, and made me feel welcome to request whatever I needed. The PT and OT staff was extremely talented and helpful. Although COVID made initial mandatory quarantining necessary, I understood this was for my protection as well as that of the other residents. I would not hesitate to recommend BTC to anyone who needs rehab care.

Fantastic experience: Great facility

Positive experience: 99.99% of the staff are kind, compassionate, and professional. And I truly appreciate their care -- Thank you. But, you know what they say about the proverbial "rotten apple". It isn't that that the "one" spoiled the overall care offered by the staff of this facility, but they can leave a bad taste in your mouth. For the most part, I received really good care; however, when you are in pain, helpless and at the mercies of that "one bad apple" for a 6-12 hour shift, once, twice, or more...you can get a really bad taste in your mouth that flavors your whole experience no matter how wonderful all the other workers and staff may be. My apologies to the majority of the wonderful nurses and CNAs for not giving a full throated 5 star review, but all CNAs should be held to a high standard. The ones with passive aggressive tendencies should be weeded out. If you can be cruel to someone who is helpless and in pain and totally dependent on you, you should be in another line of work. That's my opinion.
