Denise received her degree in physical therapy from The University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.  She has over 25 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics.  From 2004 to 2020 she practiced at her own private practice in Fairbanks, Alaska. 

Denise has advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy, postpartum and pregnancy/pelvic floor rehabilitation and dry needling.  She has a special interest in treating moms and aging athletes including runners and nordic skiers with leg and lower back injuries.

Over the last ten years I have needed PT for a variety of injuries. When I visited Focus early on for a program to help my shoulder, I was totally impressed with the progressive care and hands on therapy I received. I returned for treatment again after rotator cuff surgery in March. Within a few weeks I regained movement and strength and am now post therapy. As a daily runner, cyclist, and hiker I am now back to an active lifestyle. Thank you Burke and Denise!
