Athletico Physical Therapy - Berwyn

Fantastic experience: I just finished my 8 weeks of physical therapy this week for knee replacement surgery. Every person in this place is friendly, kind and has a great sense of humor. Not once did I encounter any type of rudeness from anybody. The facility is always clean as well as the equipment. I was blessed to have Alex and Victor as my therapists. They were both very knowledgeable and patient with me. They pushed me to the limits which I appreciate because I feel this was the reason for my successful results. I would most definitely recommend this facility to anybody that is looking for a great experience and great results!

Fantastic experience: I had some lower back issues. I was very happy with the excersises they provided for me. They helped a great deal! I couldn't be happier with my experience there during my therapy program. The entire staff was very professional and caring. My therapist was Vanessa and she was awesome.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the Berwyn location. Came in for neck and shoulder therapy due to migraines. Vanessa Maldonado worked with me to relieve tension on muscles that caused migraine pain. She assessed the issue and knew how to tackle it. She did an amazing job in guiding me through exercises that will help me further my recovery. I highly recommend her and her team for neck and shoulder therapy.

Fantastic experience: I had a great PT experience here. I was always greeted warmly when I arrived and the entire staff was so helpful and kind. My therapists were Debbie and Alex, and both were excellent. Alex encouraged self discipline and motivated me to do my best and get better. Debbie takes the time to demonstrate and explain everything, and is very kind and patient. They are both very knowledgeable. I got a lot out of every session and would definitely come back for future needs.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my experience. Vanessa Maldonado made pelvic floor therapy not such a scary thing for me, she is very knowledgeable and talked me through every step. I had great Improvement and I am very happy with my outcome.

Fantastic experience: Ive spent 7 months twice a week going to Athletico. Originally my therapist was Vanessa and she was able to diagnose the fact thst I was never rehabbed properly from my total left hip replacement. She gave me encouragement and is a very sweet woman. I also had Jorge who was great at relieving extreme tension from my back because of walking incorrectly due to knee issues. He was also extremely encouraging and didnt push me too hard. The front staff were always so kind to me as well as Raffa, Eric, Priscella, and those whose names I never learned but I know by their beautiful smiles when I come to my appointment, and their goodbyes an hour later. God bless you for all you've done for me!

Fantastic experience: Appointment times are flexible and the therapists work hard to try to meet you in the middle in any situation. Everyone is nice here and make you laugh while you’re working. Overall a nice environment. I’ve enjoyed my time here and usually looked forward to going to PT. Highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Athletico for tennis and golfer's elbow, and I always look forward to my visits there. The staff is kind, friendly and always willing to help right away. Rebecca Baran is my therapist, and she is fantastic. She always checks in with me first thing, and listens to what I have to say. She is very knowledgeable and professional, and responds to emails quickly. She explains exercises and conditions in a very clear way. I highly recommend Athletico in Berwyn for anyone who may need pt.

Debbie is my therapist and she’s amazing! She takes the time to listen to your concerns and find the best approach for the care of her patients. The facilities are clean and well run. Fantastic experience: My mother was very pleased with the physical therapy she received. She said everyone is so professional & caring.. every time she walked out of there she had a smile on her face. She originally went in to straighten her knee which she had a meniscus tear & severe pain. She now walks with ease & is almost back to normal with hardly no pain. I definitely would refer this place to anyone who needs therapy.

Fantastic experience: Have had many great Athletico therapists at many locations, and like the others, the Berwyn location is great. When I first started I was in bad shape, and Vanessa and the whole team did an amazing job getting me back on my feet and quickly improving. Fantastic experience: My experience with Athletico Berwyn has been very positive and encouraging! I have been dealing with a pain that wouldn't go away. My doc sent me here before she would put me on any pain meds. With every visit I am feeling better. Vanessa listened to me and created a plan specific to my pinched nerve. Arben has also been very helpful bouncing ideas off of Vanessa and vice versa. The two of them have been a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the athletico in Berwyn. My physical therapist Vanessa Maldonado was very professional, caring, and accommodating. When I came to Vanessa my back pain was affecting my day to day activities. Vanessa helped me to understand the location of my pain and the exercises and stretches that would help me get back to enjoying my life. After 3 months of back pain I am back to being active again! Vanessa Maldonado is amazing and very knowledgeable when it comes to lower back pain. If I ever experience a flare up I know I count on Vanessa to get me up and moving!

Fantastic experience: I needed physical therapy for my left tendon, following surgery. Chose to use Berwyn Athletico as I had used them for a shoulder issue 6 years ago. I was assigned to Vanessa who was excellent and totally reliable. The results were great. My regular doctor was happy with the results. My left leg was perfectly straight. Vanessa never missed a day. She was pleasant to work with and was all business. I highly recommend this Athletico and Vanessa in particular.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience coming to this place for physical therapy. Everyone that I dealt with was very pleasant and professional including the front desk staff. I worked with Victor and Itzy, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Because of the treatment I received there, I learned how to stop limping which was something that really bothered me and something that I thought I was going to be doing for the rest of my life. At my last session, Itzy very patiently worked with me to help me understand how to do the exercises that I will be doing at home. I am very grateful for the personalized care and attention I received from Victor and Itzy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to receive physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience at Athletico in Berwyn working with my physical therapist Becky. Becky listened to my concerns, made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and adjusted my therapy as needed. My body feels 100% better than when I came in initially and may even be stronger now. The front desk staff/assistants were also always very welcoming and professional, and the facilities were clean and comfortable. This was my first time in PT, and it was a very positive experience!

Fantastic experience: I received 15 PT sessions on my right foot(stiffed & aching). With a disciplined attitude to do whatever required of me from the staff(especially Rebecca and Dr. Debbie), my tour of training has ended with an extended family of professionals. I feel my foot problems has decreased and am able to walk without pain from 9 or 10, but now 4 or 5 as I continously workout with paper instructions & graphics( my goal is 1 -2 or no pain). I truly recommend anyone to attend the "A Team" at Athletico in Berwyn. Thank you family for putting up with me. I will not forget Yall. Keep up the good work. Teammanship!

Fantastic experience: An excellent place starting with easy access with parking, excellent customer service; excellent service and professionalism to the patient. Always ensuring the comfort and capacity of the patient. From the first visit I began to see the improvement in the problems with which I arrived. I am convinced that if I had started my rehabilitation therapies since my car accident, I would have saved myself from suffering from severe pain, inflammation and inability to move for those 4 1/2 months that I was in the other place; they didn't help me at all. Fantastic experience: I spent nearly 5 months working with the amazing staff at Athletico Berwyn - Mike, Rebecca, Itzy and Jorge were all incredibly dedicated and instrumental to helping me recover from an injury/surgery. I got tons of personalized recommendations for exercises to do at the facility and at home. I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy. Thanks again to the entire staff there.

Fantastic experience: This Athletico location is where I received treatment for an Achilles injury. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and welcoming day one and every day after. Fantastic experience: I was in a great deal of pain and after calling around thankfully landed on the athletico in Berwyn! Mike was attentive, got me in, checked on me and really gave me hope this would get better! The entire staff is supportive and offer a wide variety of expertise. I was able to utilize Meghan for part of my therapy while Mike was in process of that certification. It was great! As a working mom they are accommodating, and understanding to situations and made this fit with my life. If you are in need of PT I highly recommend the athletico in Berwyn!

Fantastic experience: My mom went to therapy at this location and had Deborah (Debbie) as her massage therapist. Every time I would pick her up she was extremely satisfied with the exercises and she was in less pain everyday. She always gave her workouts to do at home that really helped her. She is very knowledgeable and Im very grateful she was able to help my mom feel so much better.

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of working with a few of the physical therapists and their assistants at Athletico. They are all friendly and fantastic to work with. They really take the time to listen and get to know your needs, while providing catered care. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Athletico and in particular Nina and Stephen. They are a fantastic to work with and I appreciate all they do to help me.

Fantastic experience: 5 star rating for this wonderful facility. This Athletico has an absolutely amazing staff. Dr. Haderspeck and the rest of the staff made my rehab easier and much more enjoyable. They were very knowledgeable about the rehab process and introduced different methods of treatment so that I can be free of pain. From the front desk, to all the therapists, everyone was very polite and professional. The scheduling for sessions was also flexible, which helped me manage my days with ease. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking physical therapy of any kind!

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely spectacular experience at this clinic! Nina was very attentive to my needs to ensure I felt comfortable and safe during treatment. She did such a great job at simply explaining the complex mechanisms of the muscular system which bettered my understanding of the pain I was experiencing. Since my last visit with Nina, the pain I was experiencing is now a thing of the past and I am happily back in the gym doing my preferred workout routine. While I hope it does not happen, if I find myself needing additional care in physical therapy, I know exactly where to go now which is super relieving since I am so particular about choosing healthcare professionals for care. My experience was so great that I'd recommend Nina to any of my family and friends without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: It started with the call to the business to make an appointment. I explained that I was looking to make an appointment for a rotator cuff issue. Just so happened that a therapist named Nina was speaking to me on the other line. I booked an appointment with Nina later that week. Couldn't believe it was that easy. I ended up seeing Nina for 10 sessions, and it was wonderful. From the first visit when she assessed what course of action to take, to the final visit with her when she made sure I had everything I needed to continue my exercises and stretches on my own; Nina always made me feel like I was the most important person in the room. Even while juggling 1-2 other patients at the same time, I never felt like she wasn't present or not involved with my care. Her exercises and stretches helped me immensely, and her actual manipulation of my right shoulder aided the process. I urge you to book your PT at this Athletico, and meet with Nina if you can. She's a treasure, and this establishment is lucky to have her. Thank you Nina!!!! -"Will"

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! I required months of twice a week PT for an ankle surgery. My care from start to finish was phenomenal. When I called to schedule, the front desk was beyond helping to accommodate my schedule. I worked one on one with Mike who kept things fresh and challenging. He had a wide range of knowledge and was able to get me to my goal in half the time. The other therapists (Megan and Tom) who also work on Tues and Thurs provided such enthusiasm and playful atmosphere to my sessions. My therapist attended my post- op appointments (through zoom ) with my surgeon to make sure we all were on board with my recovery. I can't say enough great things about this place!

Fantastic experience: As a college baseball athlete going here for the past 5 weeks, I have been really happy with the progress I have made with my back injury. My therapist was Michael Haderspeck and he was very helpful. He was personable and always listening to what I had to say. He was recommended to me by my doctor as an overhead athlete specialist. Going to my appointments weren’t at all a drag, they were filled with a lot of helpful exercises and I got full use of the hour I was there. Parking was easy too. Overall it is a very friendly environment with friendly people all around.

Fantastic experience: The trainers take very much pride and care into helping the patients recover. It feels a family friendly community where the recovery journey is more fun and they make sure that the results you are looking for are the results you are going to get. The trainers make flexible hours for their patients so if I get busy with my studies and work, they schedule my sessions to fit into my own busy schedule. Overall, this facility is well run, very engaging, and just the total package of starting to recover from any injury.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Berwyn facility for a few years now off and on. Currently I am there for rehabilitation because of a total knee replacement. Their facility is clean ( And they have taken even more precautions due to covid) , their staff is always polite and willing to help. I am currently working with Michael as my Physical Therapist and I am very happy. He pushing me, but does so in a polite way, he is also very knowledgeable and has explained so much to me about my knee and how the muscles work. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing Physical therapy for any reason.

Fantastic experience: Best place to recover over a bad injury or if u have been feeling pain anywhere they will help u for sure Nina was the therapist that took care of me an she is very good at her job. She talks with everyone with respect and she is very caring. She makes sure that the exercises won't hurt u. And the environment is very caring. Plus she is very funny and friendly

Fantastic experience: I never knew getting injured could be as fun as the Athletico clinic in Berwyn made it for me with the most incredible staff around led by Claire. Claire was looking after me for the past weeks and she made me feel in the way of always wanting to come back! Even though I’m back on a healthy path I did not want to leave! This just shows how inspiring and great Claire is as a person. Always welcoming with smile on her face and full professionalism. I’m a student-athlete myself and never felt as strong, fast and good about myself than I did after leaving my therapy with Athletico Physical Therapy clinic. Highly recommended. P.S- Don’t get injured!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this location for quite awhile and always with the same physical therapist. Always with positive results when I'm finished with all the sessions , never am I unsatisfied with the professionalism and the extreme concern for my well being. This physical therapist always greets me with a smile and her first question when I arrive is ....HOW DO YOU FEEL ? All of this is always presented to me on each and every session. She always takes charge and her amazing staff backs her up when needed. It takes a leader to make a successful team ! The entire staff shows the same professionalism as she does. Meghan Simone you define all that has been said and then some. Keep up the good work ! I wish there was an option for 10 stars !
