Velohealth: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I truly can’t express how important Keri has been for me and my health. Only 3 or so years ago I was in a wheelchair due to a serious health issue and I’m now weightlifting, doing yoga, walking 10,000+ steps a day, and running. I credit Keri more than any other professional in helping me get to this point. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable - but as others have stated - she is kind, caring, and genuinely interested in providing help. If you or anyone you know needs PT in the area, Keri is the one!
Fantastic experience: Keri is a magician! She really takes the time to evaluate you to figure out what is happening. And it is not just the initial visit. She continually looks into the surrounding areas to figure out where things are stemming from so treatment is not singularly focused. So in the end, you know that it is an issue that won't repeat itself! Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Keri is a miracle worker! I had been suffering for months with severe neck and shoulder pain when I finally reached out to Keri for help. In only three weeks, she was able to relieve my pain and return my range of neck motion! She is not only a wealth of knowledge and experience, but also a beautiful and kind soul that instantly makes you comfortable under her care.
Fantastic experience: Keri, and Velohealth has significantly improved my way of life.. as a 26 yo, I was feeling about 70 in the lower spine. Keri initially worked to help me regain mobilization to perform daily activities, and then created a customized plan that helped me graduate to a self sustainability. I keep Keri on call for those bad days, and needed mobilization help for my lower back/rotation issues.
Fantastic experience: If you want real results Keri is going to deliver! I called on Keri after my shoulder surgery (after going through 5 months of rehab) when I realized my insurance was only willing to get me to 80% mobility. I wasn’t going to settle for that !! Keri was determined to get me to 100% and as a result I was able to “wow” Dr Cooper ( my surgeon) with my amazing progress when I saw him recently. She is truly a joy to work with and I appreciate her attention to detail and her conscientious efforts to get me better. I am forever grateful. .
Fantastic experience: I'd injured my back lifting boxes and was unable to deal with it on my own. I tried resting and all sorts of new stretches but couldn't figure it out and was dealing with pain going on three months. I had to stop running and was generally miserable. I found Keri on Yelp and reached out. She was able to come by my house in Bethlehem within a few days for a session. She quickly diagnosed my issue and taught me stretches I can do to address it. We also did a review of my regular stretching/exercise routine and she corrected some form issues that I didn't know I had. Now i'm able to clear up my back issues with a few quick stretches and they're less noticeable every day. My overall flexibility is also better than before I was injured thanks to my improved stretching routine and I'm able to run much further than before. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I found Keri through friends, and wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve since learned she is professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I trusted her early on, which was important to me because my son began therapy at just 5 months old. He had limited mobility in his neck and arms, which threatened his development and left him with a flat area on his head. It is amazing the difference I’ve seen in just over a month. He is crawling at 6 months, reaching up much more often, and generally more mobile and less constrained. I know this is because of Keri’s care. As a mom of two young kids, it has been SO helpful that Keri is accommodating with her schedule and comes to our house. She takes all necessary precautions for Covid, so we feel confident and safe for our twice-weekly sessions. She is quick to respond to messages, and I always feel like I have access to her when/if I need it. When I ask a question during a session, she usually has a very knowledgeable answer, but she is also not afraid to say “I’m not sure”. I value that, especially in the healthcare field! Keri is also just a pleasure to work with, which is important when seeing someone so frequently. I couldn’t ask for more!
Fantastic experience: I am a very active person, and I had been experiencing numerous injuries that had occurred on my right side from extensive hiking, mountaineering, and ice climbing. I really needed someone to help me. It was actually my assistant that found Keri after an extensive search to help me deal with these problems. At the time, Keri happened to be transitioning from California to Pennsylvania; however, she was gracious enough to work with me informally as she setup her practice in Pennsylvania. I was very grateful that she would take the time to do this for me, and it showed me a great deal about her character. One of my biggest problems was that I had tremendous pain in my right heel. This pain had been reoccurring for many years intermittently depending on what I was doing. I saw several doctors for this problem, but none of them could diagnose the problem, much less treat me for it. Therefore, I had been suffering from it for it for a very long time. Keri figured out that I had a lot of imbalances and small weaknesses which were throwing my body off. She was the first to find out what the problem was, which was incredible to me! She was able to figure out what the problem was, even when the doctors were not able to. I think this is because she has a vast array of knowledge that she has gathered from her experience working with many different people in their various situations, which made it much easier for her to help figure out what was wrong with me. She gave me exercises which amazingly helped me to quickly improve and enabled me to finish several trips with as little pain as possible. Also, since I extensively weight train, she made recommendations as to which exercises I should avoid which would make problems worse for me. I am grateful that Keri was the first to even suggest what the problem was when many other people, including doctors, had no idea at all. One thing I really appreciate about Keri is that you can email her, or text or call her, and she will respond quickly. It’s not like a doctor for whom you have to wait months to even get an appointment and who is never available when you need them. Also, she cares and checks in with you, unlike other physical therapists I have had in the past who just go through the motions and don't really care just collect fees.
Fantastic experience: After a year of PT for a broken knee cap and partial patelectomy I was released being told that was all they could do. I walked with little bend to my knee. My family doctor recommended neuro muscular massage. I researched my options and found Keri/Velohealth. Keri treated my whole leg since my calf and thigh muscles were involved. She was able to release so much tension enabling me to walk more normally. After six months we now meet for "maintenance" treatment. I don't want to think where I would be if I did not find Keri.
Fantastic experience: Keri has been working with my 87 year old Dad since June, who lost his mobility from having shingles. Keri is professional and educated in every aspect of physical therapy especially with keeping him safe and teaching us how to safely and properly transport him. My dad has gone from no mobility to walking with a walker and transferring himself from chair to bed, etc. He would not be where he is today without Keri. Her compassion and willingness to accommodate my mom and dad's schedule is really what sets her apart from other companies. She made it so easy for an elderly couple who were dealing with a very stressful situation. I was able to return home knowing they were being taken care of by the best!
