Fantastic experience: Started seeing Dan this week for my knee. This office is professional and friendly. Dan has good "bedside manners." He is professional & personable and knows what he is doing. It is early in my treatment but I have confidence if I keep at it, they can help me get more mobility without pain in my knees.

Fantastic experience: I chose Athletico based on this location reviews. And…I was very impressed. I am super skeptical because I’ve been to PT many times for my back and hip without relief. I worked with Dan and he was very knowledgeable about how to help me. I did my exercises at home and met twice a week in person. I have excellent relief! I no longer have my back pain, my flexibility has increased tremendously, and my hip pain is in check. I highly recommend Dan and his team to support your healing. They also have a great sense of humor!

Fantastic experience: Had back pain and worked with Deanna Moccia. She got a thorough understanding of my condition and what in my life that was creating the pain. She helped me understand and alleviate my back pain. Very refreshing experience coming from other physical therapists that just give general advice!

Fantastic experience: Deanna Moccia of the Bloomington, Illinois Athletico was my Physical Therapist following a total knee revision surgery. My surgeon from Rush recommended Atheltico. My experience was very positive. Deanna came to our home initially. She was always on time friendly and professional. She is very congenial. My husband enjoyed her professionalism and follow through. His therapy progressed to the office as he gained strength and returned to work. Deanna work hard to meet his work schedule by coming in an hour earlier to meet his needs. Fantastic experience: I completed physical therapy at Athletico recently. This was my third occasion for therapy at Athletico. Each therapy was for different injuries/conditions over a six-year timeframe: knee injury, surgery on my cervical spine, and most recent an injury involving my hip/thigh. Every course of therapy helped resolve and improve my level of functioning. Dan rehabbed two of the presenting conditions; Deanna provided rehab on my most recent injury. I am an active 70+ year old. Both Dan and Deanna are wonderful physical therapists. They identified the presenting problems...and developed a plan to resolve the issues. They provided specific exercises for me to do at home which I did between appointments. At appointments they ensured I was doing exercises correctly and added to my home exercise program as progress was made in my life therapy. And, all home exercises were uploaded into a special site so I could pull up and review how to correctly do the exercises when at home. This was my first therapy with Deanna. She was encouraging and made certain I was making good progress before adding new exercises to the routine. These are exercises I am continuing at home following my release from therapy. If ever I need additional therapy, I will come back to Athletico. They accurately assessed me for the injuries, provided me with a therapy plan, and I did all the needed therapy at home between appointments. On each of the three occasions, I have left therapy with improved overall functioning and without pain. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate all of the staff at Athletico in Bloomington!

Fantastic experience: I cannot sing enough praises about the staff of the Athletico on Eastland in Bloomington. Never having any major surgery before, I was apprehensive about therapy after my knee was replaced, but was told that I'd be very fortunate if Dan Finn was my PT. I was not disappointed. Dan is so knowledgeable and compassionate, with a great sense of humor. I quickly realized I was in good hands. He leads a spectacular team, from all the therapists to the interns. All questions and concerns were answered and quality care quickly had me, and my new knee, headed in the right direction! Darlene Perkins, Patient Coordinator , was so helpful in scheduling and following up on insurance concerns. The entire team made this experience, if you have to go through any kind of physical therapy, not the least bit traumatic (except for the supine knee bends, a necessary evil!).

Fantastic experience: If I could give Athletico a rating higher than 5, I would. Michael, my therapist was the best. His most important skill was listening. He customized my therapy to my concerns and needs. I learned lessons from him that I will use the rest of my life. He was patient and kind. Yet, he didnt go easy on me. He made me feel like I was his most important client. Darlene, the receptionist was courteous and helpful. How nice to be greeted by a friendly face.

Fantastic experience: I went to Athletico a couple of years ago after knee replacement. Dan was great in getting me back in good walking order. I have not had any issues with my knee since and it is because of his skills as a therapist. I recently had back problems and immediately knew who would be the right person to get my back fixed up. Dan worked with me for a few weeks and got me back on track. I highly recommend Athletico as the best place for any type of PT.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for 3 years. The staff at Athletico are the best. Professional with the ability to make the experience such that you want to keep coming back for more. There are days when I would rather miss, sometimes the pain, needing my nap or just the blahs. The relief is more than worth rhe sessions. Better mobility, friendly faces id the staff and other patients. The atmosphere is welcoming. Been through quite a few therapists due to promotions, greener pastures and the students graduating. I highly recommend this location to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! From the first phone call they were accommodating getting me in. Dan, my PT, is fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He has a nice personality too. Luke the PT , who is there on his rotation, is good, too. The atmosphere is fun, light hearted. It is bright and clean, has lots of windows. They play good music too. I highly recommend this Athletico facility.

They are always courteous, friendly, respectful, empathetic and understanding of your concerns. Dan Finn (PT) professional is top notch and is on point. He listens before speaking and is always open for better ways to address your concerns. Dan Finn...thanks buddy. You have gotten me out of more than a few major painful situations. Living life with less pain is fabulous. Darlene (Front Desk Manager/Receptionist/point of contact) is a stellar person who makes you feel welcome and explains things to you in plain language. Fantastic experience: So far I have completed 4 weeks of PT with Dan at Athletico for my back issues. I've found Dan and the staff to be excellent in the services they provide. Dan has helped me much with my back. I like how Dan is very thorough with his analysis of the problem and coming up with the right treatment plan. In addition, he has gone the extra mile providing a referral for pain management at the same time as my PT treatments to help with upcoming travel plans. Dan and staff are all very friendly which makes it a pleasant experience as well. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: I recently had hip surgery and had to find a place to do physical therapy. Where I normally would have gone didn't have any available appointments for as soon as I was needing and honestly I'm so glad they didn't! This has been a rough surgery and I felt like I would never progress but Michael made me realize there was a light at the end of the tunnel! Michael has made this whole process so much easier and going through everything so much more comfortable. I'm glad I chose to utilize this facility as the entire staff have been great people!

Fantastic experience: Athletico is one of the cleanest facilities I have ever used. All staff members truly want to help you succeed in your therapy. Dr. Dan Finn in a word is "Fantastic". He explains each treatment he uses and gives you clear instructions on what you should do at home and how to do it in order to heal. His goal is for each of his patients to get healthy again. Fantastic experience: I have been to a lot of PT. Best I have ever had. Kaitlan spends the time to explain what she is doing and why. Along with what to expect. Very attentive to what is needed for a successful recovery. Schedules allow them one on one time. I would not be back in the shape I am in if not for her. Highly satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Athletico by my doctor because of knee issues. The trainers helped me by educating me on why I needed to strengthen the muscles above the knee to take the pressure off my knees. They shared exercises I could do at home between appointments. And they were kind, competent and put me at ease. I worked mainly with Clint, and Michael a few times. Not only am I better, I'm more inclined to continue to work on my own than I have been in the past. They're the best (including Darlene at the front desk). I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: After my ankle replacement I was concerned that I would not get the mobility that l needed. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. Clint made sure that my therapy at Athletico was always changing so it did not get boring. He is very goal oriented and was in contact with my Ortho Dr to work within his guidelines. He worked out a regime for my homework too. I know i still have to work on my exercises but I am able to carry out all the tasks I need to and enjoy bike riding, long walks and very little pain now. After 4 surgeries and 4 different therapy facilities I know that Athletico and Clint are the best . Their whole staff work great together!

Fantastic experience: Getting back mobility and strength in my upper body after surgeries for breast cancer is my goal this fall. I have been having therapy sessions for about 2 weeks + I am doing recommended exercises at home. There is a welcoming feel to Athletico/Bloomington from Darlene at the front desk ... to the level of professional knowledge, personal attention and encouragement I am getting from therapists Clint and Micheal ... I am motivated by the improvement I can feel already to continue until I meet my goal!
