Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about ICFR in Bloomington… they are amazing! Our daughter was in bad shape 101lbs with a 1yr+ addiction problem.. we were at wits end, when she finally admitted she needs help… after 5 month stay at IFCR she’s like our old daughter again- 124lbs, healthy and has her zest for life back…the program and staff literally saved her life.. I’m so incredibly grateful that we found ICFR when she finally wanted help.. highly recommend to anyone with similar issue that this is the first place you call

Fantastic experience: This was my first go at recovery so I had no idea what to expect. Overall, everything was wonderful. Aside from a handful who were just there to punch the clock, the staff was awesome. Most have been in your shoes and are very empathetic and accommodating. Erin was a complete rock star and I continue to check in with her almost a year later! The program is a good mix of groups involving yoga, meditation, music and different ways to help you be successful when you leave. The food was amazing. I gained 34 lbs in my 7 weeks Overall I would highly recommend you give them a shot to help you make a true change. My advice is this: make SURE you COMPLETELY understand what you can and cannot have while there. Make your wants and needs known! THANK YOU ICFR ♥️

Fantastic experience: Definitely a good place to go if you need your meds stabilized and an environment change. I learned a lot about myself in group therapy and it was nice to talk to other people who deal with similar issues.

Fantastic experience: I attended ICFR in Bloomington for a week of detox and 3 weeks of residential care. Having never been to a rehab center previously I was very nervous and did not know what to expect, but had a great experience and I'm thankful that I decided to get help and that I chose ICFR Bloomington for my needs. The staff were all empathetic and kind and helped to put my mind at ease when I first arrived. I highly recommend staying beyond just the detox period to get the full benefit from treatment. I learned a lot from the daily group sessions, which spanned topics from art and music therapy, behavioral and addiction psychology, 12-step and other recovery programs, and more. There are also facilities for recreation and exercise, and the food was quite good and varied. The daily morning Recovery Dharma meditation sessions with Colin stand out as a highlight and were a great way to center myself for the upcoming day. Since my discharge I've also connected with a local Recovery Dharma group which has been a great asset to me and helps me carry forward with what I learned at ICFR. I highly recommend ICFR Bloomington and would likely stay even longer if I had it to do all over again. I now feel well equipped to maintain my sobriety going forward and I've made some great friends and memories that will stay with me the rest of my life. Thank you ICFR for everything!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful and caring staff, friendly atmosphere and great living quarters. Group therapy and activities were actually fun, and so many extras too. A bowling alley and arcade, pool tables, a free beautician, and so on. Definitely an amazing atmosphere for recovery.

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of communication issues with some of the techs and upper management, but as for your experience, you'll get out of it what you put into it. If you want to change and you want a good program, the program here is wonderful and gives you the tools to succeed. If you want to just mail it in, you won't get much out of it. This place really helped to change my life, but that is because I also put effort into my recovery and change. This isn't a charity, nor is it meant to foster unhealthy connections you have outside of the facility...if you are looking for these things, this (and probably rehab in general) is not the place for you. They won't tell you what you *want* to hear, but they will tell you what you *need* to hear. You'll undoubtedly encounter clients here that are there for the wrong reasons and complain about everything, and like anything in life, you can find any reason you want to not like it. But if your mind is focused on the right things (ie recovery), you will find wonderful people here in a good portion of the staff.

Fantastic experience: I came to ICFR to get help for my alcoholism. I couldn’t have asked for a better Rehabilitation center it felt like a home away from home. The classes were so informative and easy to talk about what my issues where. One of the classes I attended in the morning was Meditation. I had never tried this before and it was truly amazing for my soul. Colin runs a wonderful class and helped me in so many ways with my recovery. The staff at ICFR where helpful and supportive in what I needed to start my recovery.

Fantastic experience: ICFR did so much for me in my nearly sixty days spent there. I honestly created a path of destruction in my life beforehand, completely hopeless that it could change. ICFR taught me many skills to navigate my life with the confidence I've been looking to gain in order to begin my life again. They offer many approaches to recovery, my favorite being the holistic option of meditation every day. It changed the trajectory of my day when I would practice it, as well as yoga, grooming horses, and mindfulness practices in different groups. I learned things I never would have considered could play such a huge part in changing my life-emotions, relationships, and day to day "simple" things like a routine. I was unable to see this before going into treatment, but my entire experience was an opportunity to take a break from day to day, busy life and truly focus on my overall well-being. My mind, body and spirit began a transformation that I'm able to continue afterwards thanks to their help. I have always wanted to have the daily healthy habits I now do, it just seemed too unmanageable to do in the past. I'm extremely grateful for every staff member, activity, experience and practice that led me to an entirely new life! It's worth it, I promise.

Fantastic experience: This facility changed my life! I chose ICFR for a specific reason, to change my life, and it did. Going into treatment is one of the hardest decisions a person can make in their life, also one of the scariest. ICFR has multiple levels of care to get you to be the person you were meant to be! Happy, healthy, and a contributing member to society. There are some false reviews on here that’s for sure. When you go into a center you sign multiple documents. Including costs per day, personal property policies if you decide to leave against medical advice, rules, etc. This facility is a non judgmental safe community. ALL faces of life come through here all across the country. Everyone is accepted no matter what. The staff genuinely cares for you. Sometimes it might feel as though they are mean, BUT they are doing a job to ensure that the clients are getting what they need to live a fulfilling life free of substance/mental health issues, etc, etc. If you act like a child, don’t follow rules, are disrespectful, cause drama, there are consequences. This is a place to get better! Learn about yourself, get structure, be able to cope, and overcome. Recovery isn’t a game. It’s real life, and for me was a matter of life and death. Well I chose life! I’m thriving again, smiling again, laughing again. I’m no longer shut off from the world. I’m engaged again. I couldn’t have accomplished this without the assistance of ICFR. They have amazing facilities! A arcade, basketball court, full gym, a barber, bowling alley, and theater. Awesome group instructors, and great therapists. A medical team is always on site, and they also take you on outings once you have reached a certain level of care. I went zip lining for the first time while here! Daily meditation, bible study, and an entourage of other activities. If you are serious about changing your life this is the place to do it! I will forever recommend this property in Bloomington! Thank you ICFR!

Fantastic experience: The most caring people. They will go above and beyond for you. The staff there needs a pay raise for all the hard work they do. Especially the lower staff that works at the apartments. But all in all a good place to go if you are needing help. Also they call and check up with you after you are gone.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend coming to Indiana Center for Recovery! The team here is absolutely amazing. From day 1 I have felt like I was at home and that they truly cared about my sobriety. In the beginning I only promised that I would stay 1 week for treatment and then after that 1 week I did not want to leave because of how amazing this place turned out to be. I’m here 80 days later and could not be happier! Thank you ICFR for being there for me! Thank you for showing me a new LIFE! Y’all are one of a kind and I think everyone should experience this amazing treatment center for themselves. If you’re questioning sobriety or your mental health, this center has the answers. Pure magic✨

Fantastic experience: The staff at Indiana Center for recovery was very professional and really looked out for the well-being of those needing help. The follow-through and commitment to care, along with top-notch facilities, really helped me on my road to recovery. In particular therapist / meditation and group leader Colin, therapist Tyler W. and the alumni staff Erin, Macy and (now case manager) Caitlin. Super good people who have kept up communication since I left. Highly recommended! - Joe O

Fantastic experience: I can't express enough gratitude for my transformative experience at ICFR in Mishawaka. After battling major depression for years and trying numerous medications without success, I had nearly given up hope. It took my husband's convincing to get me to ICFR, and little did I know, it would be the turning point in my life. Entering the program skeptically, I was astonished by my incredible progress in just three weeks. I emerged as a completely different person, rediscovering myself and leaving depression firmly in the past. The positive changes in my confidence and self-esteem were profound. What sets ICFR apart is not just the effectiveness of their program but also the genuine care and support provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt like part of a vast family. The friendly and helpful staff played a pivotal role in my journey to recovery, making the challenging process much more manageable. ICFR gave me a new lease on life, and I am incredibly grateful for the renewed sense of hope and purpose they instilled in me. If you or a loved one is struggling with mental health or addiction, I wholeheartedly recommend ICFR in Mishawaka. It's more than a treatment center; it's a place where lives are transformed and everyone is treated like family. Thank you, ICFR, for giving me the tools and support to embark on a healthier, happier chapter of my life.

Fantastic experience: I went to ICFR by accident earlier this year. Happiest accident of my life! The care is so clear all the time. They have classes to learn coping techniques, they show care and concern ALL the time. You have constant access to people to talk to who can actually help. Once a week private visits with your therapist. They take care of everything! I can't say enough about their after care either. I get unlimited 23/7 available help. I so highly recommend this place. If you need help with either depression or drug addiction, see if your insurance covers them and GO!

Fantastic experience: I was recently at ICFR in September It is truly the best facility I have ever been to. The food there was great and all of the staff members were super cool and very friendly they are also in recovery which helped out a lot and made my experience 100 times better, I felt understood and heard during my hard times. They also did a lot activity wise. There was a bowling alley a gym and arcade room with pool tables, and they have their very own hair stylists that comes to wash and cut our hair. The facility is beautiful and very welcoming, I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say that this place is the most amazing help to start on the road to recovery, I’ve tried a few places over the last 52 years and I’m 65 and the places in the past just wasn’t what I expected and really didn’t help me that much, I know that it has a lot to do with the person seeking recovery as well. But your recovery center went up and above what I would call just a treatment center. From the moment they drove 2 hours to pick me up, I’ll just back up a week before I when over you staff come and got me they called and checked on me pretty much daily . They would have come that day I called but I had an ablation that week and hope I would make it till then . I did as I’m writing this I’ve been clean from illegal drugs since November 6 thanks to your rehab center and their help. They pick me up, took me to the center detox me under doctors care. It was very rough. I was detoxing from meth I was heavy user. At 65 It’s not easy on your body. I’m a vegetarian and they took very good care of all my needs. Just Amazing!!! The classes are great. The staff was amazing. 5+ star to the nurses and doctors. They listen they worked with you they there for you and I just want to let them know how know I appreciate everything. Then they brought me home as I have a intensive out care patient that I’m into now. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my loved ones I will complete trust them and their care. Thank you. Staff Nurses doctors and driversThe drive that took me home made it just as comfortable as he could take me back home It was amazing as well as the rest of the staff. Thank you so much for all the help to begin the road to my recovery.

Fantastic experience: ICFR is a very special place. During my stay I quickly learned that the staff cares deeply about everyone who walks through ICFR doors. The staff made me feel seen, loved, and special. The campus is beautiful and ICFR has a great gym and hangout area. I highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I was discharged from ICFR about 9 months ago. I spent almost 4 months in the program and it truly changed my life. I learned so much about myself, my mental health, and my addiction. I learned how to cope with these things moving forward and was shown sufficient ways to process my past and my emotions. The staff are all super friendly, hard working, and supportive when it comes to the clients and their needs. Always going above and beyond to make sure each client is as comfortable as can be. I would recommend this treatment facility to anybody who is looking to overcome their struggles and find a new way of living. Also, the food is outstanding!

Fantastic experience: I was a patient/resident here from early August to September of 2023 and it was overall a great experience. First off the food was actually fantastic. A little bit too much chicken but it was delicious. They have classes from 9-4 7 days a week so you get a variety of classes for mental health and substance abuse. You gain knowledge on what exactly is going on with the neuro science part of it which was very helpful to me so I better understand how and why my brain does what it does. The group of guys that were in my class were some of the best of people and we all had each others backs while we were there and still talking to them on the outside. The facilitators were awesome. Sydney and Jen were my personal favorites with how they just tell it like it is and keep it light hearted which made it easy for all of us to express ourselves and be completely vulnerable day after day. They have a rec center that is nicer than the ymca in my town of 12k people that has a barbershop in there as well. I could keep going on and on about the great experience I had but I will have to say one big thing to be aware of is the therapist Kate had lied to me and my wife about a few different things that made my wife question if I was taking it serious. Luckily they had a family weekend which I highly recommend with Jackie and I had actually already went over the stuff with my wife that Kate had lied and said I didn’t know a few certain things and she also told me a lie about when I was going to be able to take a certain medication that I found out three days later when I got to meet with my NP. This place stands alone on the way they attack recovery and how to use the tools they gave us to continue long term recovery once we are back out In the real world with all the stress that can bring us. This was only the second rehab I’ve ever been too but I have heard many different stories from friends and places they have been. I was there a month and it flew by. Last rehab I was there 2 weeks and it felt like a year this one makes the saying “time flies when you’re having fun” come to light. Learning in these conditions was so beneficial to me Thank you so much to everyone except Kate at ICFR. I will be fighting for my spot in the 5% of the people in long term recovery and you guys have given me the tools to do it. My family and I will be forever greatful too this place

Fantastic experience: I will update later but the best place to go for any mental health, or addiction issues. The people from the staff to the clients become like family. So welcoming and comfortable. The groups and therapy are awesome and eye-opening, mind awakening. I don't like sharing my emotions but you will be surprised how much you will open up. It's Life-changing! Awesome staff that truly cares for you and continues to care after you leave. They helped me to get placed with a therapist who will continue to help me on my journey to recovery. I couldn't have done that myself. I'm truly blessed to be a part of this alumni and have created what I consider will be lifelong relationships even if we are in different states. LOVE MY PEOPLE! ❤️ (MY EDIT) See the response below says it all. I still get follow-up calls to see how I'm doing. The sincere message below says a lot about how truly compassionate and caring they are. I am now placed with my psychiatrist whom I am glad ICFR did that for me. My aftercare therapist was awesome as well. It all started at ICFR in Bloomington. I would have never taken these steps alone to let my mind and body heal. I never had time to do the work or I just thought I would be considered crazy. I now realize this is what I need for a healing moment. Can't wait to see where this journey takes me. Thank you ICFR

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at Icfr for 2 months from July 2023 to September 2023. My experience was wonderful. Betty and Julia have active communication with the clients and the staff. Colin and Erin were very welcoming when I arrived at the facility. I felt at home my first day there, that’s very comforting when your in a strange place. Icfr has forever changed my life and I’m proud to be called an alumni member of such a great establishment.

Fantastic experience: I was a client in the mental health program, I did a month in their residential program then a month in their php program, during the program I attended group therapy everyday which provided education, coping skills, and a safe place for processing, I came in to the facility previously only diagnosed with depression and over the course of my time there I was diagnosed with a handful of other disorders(ptsd, bpd, gad) and given resources and support to help manage those disorders, I met with my therapist once a week and I was able to process through my disorders more in depth although despite my hesitation I found group to be my ideal area for processing, the techs there were all extremely personable, hardworking and many have even been through the program, I even had I tech tell me when I was on my way out that it was like I was a part of the family. I also met with a nurse practioner once a week who was extremely helpful with managing my medications and I came out on new medication that works significantly better than my old meds. Overall I made many friends, was always treated with respect and have so much to be thankful for.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank everyone at Indiana Center for Recovery for all the support and help. I spent 30 days between detox and residential. It was an experience that truly saved my life from substance use disorder and mental health issues. From the bottom to the top the staff truly cares about the client’s well being. Clean facility, good food, and great recreational activities; including a voluntary guided meditation that I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: ICFR is the first Detox/Recovery Center that I had ever decided to go to. It took a lot of courage to take that first step. I was scared and assumed that a place like this was going to be like a prison. Boy was I wrong. The staff treat you with the absolute kindness, care, patience and understanding whether it's mental health, addiction or anything in between. Special Shout out to Colin Troy for his eye-opening meditation experience (which I never imagined I'd be doing). The sessions are optional so one day I decided to try something new and ended up loving it. 30 minutes of meditation felt like 5 seconds had gone by and I left feeling lighter, calmer and able to focus on a single thought at a time rather than a million at once. He's a super nice guy and takes the time to listen and answer as many of your questions as he can. To my Therapist Kate, thank you for your time, patience and ability to explain plans and approaches to my recovery after leaving ICFR. Thank you to the Doctors & Nurses on staff that answered ALL of my questions about what medication I was being given and what it was for as well as any health concerns I had. Thank you to the Techs on staff as well for pointing me in the right direction if I couldn't figure out where to go for a certain class as well as being very approachable and easy to talk to. The thing that stood out to me the most about ICFR was the sense of companionship and family that came with living amongst others who were fighting similar battles to each other. I learned a lot about myself and other peoples' perspectives even though I was only there for a short time. If it weren't for all of the new friends that I made there I wouldn't be where I'm at right now. Thank you, good luck to everybody that is a part of the ICFR family and best of luck in continuing to help people like me in the future!

Fantastic experience: Great facility; I was there for substance abuse (alcohol) for six weeks - 2 days in detox, 30 in residential, and 2 weeks in PHP. The transition between each phase was made smoothly by staff. Most of the group facilitators and techs were very proficient at their jobs (with few exceptions). A few facilitators that stood above the rest were Colin, Sean, Sydney, and Dena. I’d like to personally thank Colin for going above and beyond, not only with the meditation program (highly recommended) but the alumni program as well. He and his team have made it very clear that any client can contact them at anytime, any day even after discharge. I’ve emerged a much better person for the program.

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this place. I was able to do a full three months and I can honestly say I experienced more growth and healing in that 3 months than I have in all the time since I first sought out help 8 years ago. ICFR provided me with a holistic recovery environment - but the setting and tools provided were only effective because they are facilitated by SO MANY people who care; many of whom had their own personal experience in recovery from mental illness and/or addiction. The things I benefited from at ICFR were: group therapy, group outings, individual therapy, art therapy, Yoga Nidra, Kaiut Yoga, meditation, music therapy, living with and connecting to other clients, conversations with staff, decent food, a nice gym, bowling, ping pong, frisbee, and group walks. Everyone from Operations staff, clinical staff, medical staff, group facilitators, therapists, techs, and housekeeping had a part in my experience at ICFR. There is so much passion, empathy, knowledge, support, and love that exudes from each of these individuals, and that is what makes ICFR so great.

Fantastic experience: I was recently discharged from ICFR's program and am now officially a Alumni! After about 2 months of treatment (63 days) for primary mental health and secondary substance abuse issues, my life has truly been changed for the better. This recovery center, more importantly the people within the facility, did not just save my life, but gave me an opportunity to live my life! Group therapies were incredibly beneficial, both because of the finding like-minded individuals in which to bond with as well as very professional, personable group facilitators. The therapists here are very caring and compassionate, and my one on one sessions with my therapist was beyond enlightening. The overall staff here is absolutely amazing and I couldn't have been more grateful to have met all them as well as the other clients here. I will be honest, the world is not perfect, neither is this place... BUT you grow from discomfort. Plus you have an entire support network to help you through some of the hardest things you will ever face in your life. Living situations are very nice, food is great, the sense of community is outstanding, and like I said prior, the staff here are beyond just compassionate and understanding. I truly had my entire life turned around and was set on a much better path. Trust the process and believe in yourself. You're not giving up your power/control, you're handing it over temporarily to professionals who care, and once you finish and leave, you get everything back 10x over. This place truly helped me find myself, and for whoever is reading this, I hope it does the same for you too! :) - Sincerely, a proud Alumni, Devon Duncan

Fantastic experience: The treatment and care of the staff is the best I have ever experienced. They truly care for your well being and groups are very helpful. Meditation in the morning with Colin was the most beneficial part to me, it gave me a good perspective and really helped me through the process. ICFR changed my life

Fantastic experience: I visited Indiana Center for Recovery in the worst mental health I had ever been in. The thought of being there was scary to me at first but the staff was very quick to make sure I felt comfortable and that I was taken care of well. From the nursing staff, to the techs, to even the maintenance staff, every employee was a lovely person and they were always there to help or even just listen. The therapists were excellent and groups were very engaging and insightful. Whether it’s mental health, addiction, or both this is the only place I would recommend to someone struggling.

Fantastic experience: ICFR taught me a great deal about myself and my addiction. I had 3.5 years sober and slipped into the same hell I have been in 1000 times. This time, I decided to go to rehab (my first time) because what I was doing was not working. I had multiple breakthroughs, recognizing anger, stress and anxiety were things I was not addressing and it all blew up in March. A key component of my recovery was attending morning meditation with Collin 7 days a week. I had not meditated ever until ICFR. It has helped me in a way I never expected. I now have a better view of my daily interactions with people and am approaching my reactions to these interactions differently. It is my choice to either lose my temper thereby letting the other person win by giving away my power or control my reaction through mindfulness and not let a negative situation ruin my entire day. The feeling is incredibly liberating! I also want to call out Sydney, group coordinator for being nothing short of amazing. She is intelligent, sharp, witty, funny and every group with her was a pleasure and always full of wonderful takeaways. ICFR has laid the groundwork and provided the tools I need to live a happy life, free of alcohol and full of joy. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Bloomington ICFR is one that I’ll never forget. I have two years and one month sober after leaving there with all of the tools to support a great change in my life. I have never had a period of sustained sobriety in my 13 years of use. The staff are amazing, a lot of them have personal experience in recovery. The medical team is exceptional in regulating withdrawal symptoms, and the detox is the nicest one I’ve ever been in. If you or a loved one is looking to get help, this is the place. The food is very good which is a huge plus. I look back at my time at ICFR Bloomington campus very fondly as it gave me the stepping stones for a successful recovery. Thank you to everyone there that made my experience an amazing one!!

Fantastic experience: I hit one of the lowest parts of my teenage life, and thats when I knew I needed outside help, then ICFR came up on my radar. It was almost instant when I was checked into clinical that I knew I was going to be safe; I knew I was psychically, emotionally and mentally safe. The staff here genuinely encourage growth and greet you with the realist smiles from day one. Additionally, they were extremely patient human beings only wanting the best for the clientele. Thank you so much ICFR staff, group facilitators and facilities for helping me start my life again, the way I needed it to be!

Fantastic experience: My experience at ICFR will be one I will never forget! I chose to go there on my own and I’m glad that I did. Initially I was only going to do 30 days but I then decided to do the full program. One big contributing factor in that decision was Colin and the meditation. Meditation is completely optional during your stay there but I highly recommend it! I have always wanted to try it before but I’m glad I finally did with Colin! He is so insightful, passionate and is always willing to take the time to listen. The meditation group was an excellent way to start your day! On the weekends it’s peer led which gives others the opportunity to lead the group. I enjoyed leading the groups myself! Meditation is a huge part of my recovery! I absolutely love my therapist Hannah! She is down to earth, real, and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your needs are met. She was able to help me through tough issues I would’ve been lost on without her! Most of the staff are very kind, honest, willing to listen and love what they do. However, communication between staff seems to be an issue which can result in confusion. My advice is to advocate for yourself and don’t be afraid to ask questions. All in all I recommend ICFR to anyone who may be in need of the services they offer.

Fantastic experience: This was all very new to me and I am so happy that I received help with my alcoholism at ICFR. Living in a house with 11 other women was way out of my element. I have been married for 35 years and thanks to ICFR I learned to use my awesome husband and family as my resources in my recovery. I feel healthier in my mind and body. A shout out to Colin and Caitlin for checking up on me. You keep me grounded and ever vigilant about going to my meetings. I am 6 months sober now and that is the longest I've made in my sobriety in a long time!! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have rendered ICFR services 2 times, 1st at Bloomington, and In Indianapolis. I was happy entire time and successfully completed programs and staying clean at this time. Facility amenities were up to date and well maintained. Staff members were professional and ready to help at any level. They all respected me and my family even afterward. I did not feel or my family that I have put back myself in the mini jail program. Food, Lodging, staff attitude and clean positive environment was more than acceptable. Everyone at facility do take addiction & all issue very serious. Many amenities and extra activities will open your mind from the personal negativity. Excellent medical staff 24/7. Not like Jail M-F 9-5PM LOL. ICFR Official do not cut Budget to the Profit. They always in touch with me and my family after program. I got chance to meet very good people like owner Shaw, Collin and Catlin. Staff- Collin & Catlin constantly in contact via text with me and my family that encourage me to stay clean at least. 5 Star and Thank You and with Love. DP

Fantastic experience: Hands down this is the most amazing treatment center I have attended. 30 days of residential treatment in quality rooms with extra quality beds (you know this is important if you have ever been in treatment), excellent staff who treat you with kindness and compassion. The facilitators are knowledgeable and engaging. The tools I learned, playing the tape forward, mindfulness, and meditation in the morning. There is even a gym on site. If you are struggling, or a loved one is struggling....THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

Fantastic experience: I went to ICFR for almost 40 days for alcohol, substance abuse and mental health. Everyone was so very friendly and supportive. I enjoyed the group therapy and being with people battling the same issues. Today I am 365 days sober, and I know with all my heart, without ICFR and their incredible staff I wouldn't be here today! I feel great and I'm finally living my best life! God bless and thanks to ICFR♥️

Fantastic experience: I went to ICFR a few years ago and it was the best rehab I’ve ever been to. The staff was amazing! Thank you Colin for being the best advocate for my recovery and help with aftercare. The nurses were kind and understanding. Thank you Gracie who believed in me and always encouraged me. I am forever grateful for the time I spent in bloomington at Indiana Center for recovery. I am sober today and I am constantly reminded of all I learned while in this program. They are family there!

Fantastic experience: I came here after having some sobriety in jail and realizing that just being sober was not enough if I was going to be at peace with myself and live a life of recovery. ICFR had advertised that they would help me to work on my mental health issues as well as getting me grounded in sobriety, and they certainly did that! The mindfulness and meditation focus has helped me a LOT, among many other tools. I’ve never been to a place (this isn’t my first time) with such great resources for the mindfulness/meditation approach to healing. During the residential/PHP phase I realized that this place was so helpful that I wanted to stay connected with them, so I decided that Bloomington was going to be my new recovery community. They’ve also stayed connected with me and continued to provide me with all the resources I need through outpatient and alumni. This place saved my life!

Fantastic experience: I went knowing I didn't want to drink again. The thought was overwhelming sometimes. Having the stuff that they have helped so much. Through their experiences and hope gave the strength and the tools to see that's it not I can't drink ever again but I don't have to drink again. I have had so many promises come true already. It's not all been a bed of roses. I've lost mom in July but she got to see me sober for 10 months before she passed. I was able to make my peace with her. I have also gotten married to a wonderful woman that supports me everyday from taking me to meetings to just being there for me. She has told me if I wouldn't have gotten clean we would have never made to where we are happy boring couple going to bed by 10pm....lol. I have gotten the love and support from my 2 kids plus 2 bonus daughters as well. And being at ICFR I was able to learn that can be happy clean and I am worth it. God has a plan for all of us. I'm John R. A Alcoholic and addict hope everyone gives themselves a chance you are worth it.
