Fantastic experience: Way much better than Bloomington Hospital.

Fantastic experience: I recently accompanied my daughter to the ER. She was 7 days post operative, had bone shaking chills, ached all of her body with pain level of 7. Many of her symptoms suggested sepsis (very frightening). It was clear she had some type of infection related to her surgery. She was quickly and kindly triaged, Her care for the entire visit was compassionate, attentive, and efficient. Her pain was controlled, condition assessed and medication prescribed and administered. Jared, Christian and Dr. Buro were all fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Absolute First Class all the way. Beautiful clean facilities, incredible staff, lightening quick response time from the ER staff. Just can't say enough good things about this place and I am so grateful we have a choice in Bloomington. I would never go to the other "facility" in town.

Fantastic experience: I went in for outpatient surgery on my shoulder. From the time I walked in the door the staff was very professional, efficient & friendly. If you have to have surgery on your shoulder Dr.James Lindner atPremier Ortho is the Dr. to go to.

Fantastic experience: Not gonna lie, when I come here usually I hate this place. The RN Amanda is the sweetest lady. She deserves a raise. Stay amazing friend

Fantastic experience: My elderly father was admitted with pneumonia… the care in the ER as well as on the floor has been efficient and the entire staff kind, courteous, competent and respectful… Monroe Hospital is Bloomington’s hidden gem… highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I took my mom to IU for a Dr appointment on Friday and they sent her home and said that she was fine by Monday They had sent a message saying that she needed to start an antibiotic because they had taken blood work and it showed an infection so needless to say three days later She had gotten very sick. My cousin suggested that we take her to Monroe this time when she got there they got her right in and started immediately giving her IV. And medication that she needed to get her turned around. I cannot say enough good things about the doctors, the nurses and the rest of the staff they all treated her so kindly, and we’re also eager to answer any of our questions. I cannot remember all the names of her nurses and the staff members that helped her but she was in room 116. I live an hour and a half away from my mom, so it is very comforting knowing that every time I talk to her she was being treated so kindly by all the staff. My mom also also talked about how good the food was and she is very picky eater. Now that mom is done with her care at the hospital now she’s being transitioned to the rehab center. Where she will fully recover and get stronger and I’m also pleased with the recommendation of the Rehabilitation center that they’ve sent her to thank you Monroe hospital for making a difference Not just in Health Care But also making people feel they Matter.

Fantastic experience: I have been very impressed with Monroe hospital and the Monroe Medical Group (MMG). They are patient and quality oriented. I am a refugee from IU Health. IU Health is trying to become a monopoly, and monopoly behavior is terrible for quality service.

Fantastic experience: I prefer Monroe over IU Caring staff the Doctors are concerned and the Nurses are very nice and concerned alas I have the give a Big Thanks To Kam Fortiner he is great at his Job

Fantastic experience: We have had excellent care the entire time we’ve been at Monroe Hospital with our granddaughter. EVERY staff person we met had a kind word, a smile and expertise to get our granddaughter the quick procedures she needed for a serious illness. I think people here must like their jobs very much to be able to care for people with such kindness. The wait times have been minimal, the atmosphere calm, not stressful or rushed, and the professionalism very impressive. The team effort here is very visible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Fantastic experience: The best and quickest experience we have had in a long time. the staff in ER helped us get back almost immediately! Every single staff member on September 17th, 2023 in the evening were incredibly helpful. multiple members of staff checked in on us and took what we had to say seriously! Had us in and out relatively quickly! (we were there from 7:40pm-9:00pm) seriously can’t get over how helpful the staff here was! every single member!

Two examples include multiple experiences: Mr. Woodson is the warm, efficient heartbeat welcoming you at the front door. And, the ER staff saved my life twice in 2021. . . as i presented with long covid pulmonary embolisms, then a separate challenge of chronic/acute ulcers six months later, followed by more challenges. Eeekk, yet I'm sooo thankful for my experiences of state of the art HEALING, in and outpatient at Monroe, especially highlighting Shanna Klun, NP-C. I also honor Nancy Blackwell (Administrator '21), Richlynn Arthur and Diane DeMoss (Patient Resource Advocates), P.T.'s Sandy and Maria Angelo Canono, Dr. Singh, Dr. Daniel, and all Nurses, especially Kayla, Kathy, Kevin, and Ann, the phlebotomists, and finally, the ambulance tech's from IU, Guy and Paul. I'm rising and beginning to thrive once again. Sincerely, one thousand THANK YOU's!!

Fantastic experience: The ER is much better than IU. I had follow up questions the next day, and was able to immediately get a nurse on the phone who was very helpful

Fantastic experience: We received fantastic care yesterday (Sunday) in the ER. Nurse was Bill but I don’t recall the Dr’s name. My 5 year old son fell face first on some ice while sledding and obviously needed stitches. From the time we left my home and got back home afterwards it was just over an hour. He was stitched up clean and the process was smooth from check in until we left. I can’t thank the providers enough for doing SO well with my 5 year old. It was our first time with an emergency like this for one of our kids and I’m so glad we came here. Thank you!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I want to praise Monroe Hospital for their prompt care and kindness in treating a friend with a kidney stone. We were admitted, treated and released within 2 hours and the hospital was very busy. The staff, nurses and er physician were great. Thank You

Fantastic experience: I had to come in to the ER around 2:30AM this morning for an allergic reaction. I had never had a reaction to anything before in my life, so I was very nervous. There was no wait and they took us right in. Nurse was kind and quick, Doctor diagnosed me with hives and a minor allergic reaction. They gave me a few shots, asked if I had any questions and sent me on my way. Great experience, would return.

Fantastic experience: I came back to Monroe Hospital because their service with a mammogram was very smooth and efficient.

Fantastic experience: I had to go to the ED for a kidney stone, and I was in and out in about 2 hours, which is incredibly fast. Everyone (RN, MD, and rad tech) was very professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: Only place I get my mammograms. Personable, generally in/out with prompt results delivered in a professional manner.

Fantastic experience: I came in with my grandma with abdominal pain that had her crying. She was seen very quickly and they was quick to get her pain under control as well. She needed emergency exploratory surgery and came out of that very well. She is currently still there being monitored but everything went smoothly and she feels much better! Thank you for taking care of her!

Fantastic experience: I go to Monroe Hospital for my mammograms, I love being able to get the 3D. Dora Robbins Fleetwood did an exceptional job! She also was the one who did my foot xray in February that showed a fracture. I had been to other places and was told it was not broke. But, she could tell by my pain that something really was wrong. She took the time to call my NP to request a different view, she got the order, and it showed the fracture!! Thank you so much Dora for your kindness and caring concern. You are great!!! Carla Yates

Fantastic experience: I've had multiple good experiences at Monroe Hospital with scans, a visit to the emergency room, and excellent care from Monroe Medical Group. I appreciate their fast service and caring team.

Fantastic experience: I'm so thankful they're here. I have been to the ER, and go there for other services such as blood work, x rays, and MRIs. The staff is great, and they always do great with my blood draws. My medical care has been so much better with my NP vs the doctor I had with IU.

Fantastic experience: Went to the ER twice; second time I was admitted. Didn't have a very long wait while I was in the ER, but when I did have to wait a little while between tests, the medical staff made sure I was as comfortable as possible and they checked on me frequently. Everyone was so courteous and compassionate, including nursing staff on the floor. Whenever I needed something, someone would answer the call button quickly and help would be there usually within 2-5 min.The food was good and the menus consisted of a variety of healthy foods. Someone came around to my room to make sure all of my needs were being met. Obviously, Monroe Hospital is committed to providing the best care to their patients.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic hospital. I come to get my blood drawn every once and awhile, and the staff does a great job to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I also come in to get ultrasounds for a condition I have, and they also do an excellent job with this as well. The wait is never too long.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love everybod I was treated in the emergency room fearing I was having Tias. My nurse, Bill was with me nearly the entire time and boy, were they thorough. urinalysis, mri, cat scan and numerous other diag tests which ruled out stroke, among other things. After all the tests imaginable, Dr Beierle questioned me closely about my prescription medications and determined that I was overmedicated with two muscle relaxants and two antidepressants--actually he came back three times to see if I had remembered all my prescriptions. Thank you, Dr Beierle, for your thoroughness

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing, a friend of mine was there and had a great visit. The doctors and nurses are amazing, they are very one on one and will help you with whatever you need. I would not want to be anywhere else, it is i think the greatest hospital I have ever been too. Especially if you want a smaller hospital or to be closer to home, if you live more south of indy and Bloomington.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best experience I’ve ever had at a hospital. My brother was here in critical condition over Thanksgiving and the staff was so friendly and helpful to us. The cafeteria even served a free Thanksgiving meal to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I went to the ER on January 25, 2017. Once we got in there I had excellent care. They really saved my life. I was in and out of consciousness because I had lost so much blood. I think the 2 nurses that were with me were Erin and Danielle. I appreciate so much their TLC. May God bless you both forever!!
