Fantastic experience: Last January, I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis in my neck. The first neurosurgeon did not recommend physical therapy. The second neurosurgeon's second opinion did recommend physical therapy. In pain, having difficulty turning my head side to side, up and down, stiff neck and sharp pains though my neck and head, loss of range of motion and very little endurance to do every day activities and shopping, I needed to seek help. Everytime, carrying a light purse and trying to shop, l could not endure the pain and how sick I felt and had to return home. I sought physical therapy at PT Solutions in Lee's Summit. Katie Andes is a kind, skilled and knowledgeable practitioner. She leds me through a series of exercises both for nerve mobility and strength for my neck, shoulders and arms. The exercises have lessened my pain, improved my endurance and made me stronger. Now because of Katie, I can do more activities and even shop up to 2 or more hours at a time. I am able walk ,a lot better blance has improved 80% and mostly my symptoms of TMJ has improved 100%.. Fantastic experience: I discovered PT Solutions and therapist Katie Andes in November following rotator cuff surgery on my right side. I had a similar surgery in 2017 (both surgeries were performed by Dr. Larry Frevert) to repair a tear in the left shoulder so I have experience in this type of rehabilitation. I wanted somewhere closer to home this time around and my niece, a phd working in children’s therapy, recommended this facility. I wanted to start ASAP and Katie was able to work me in immediately. She spent time discussing my goals and expectations of therapy. Since that first day I have been making amazing progress. I highly recommend Katie Andes and PT Solutions for your therapy needs. I have not regretted the decision to come here.

Fantastic experience: I had PT for several months after having a Vertiflex interspinous spacer placed for lumbar spinal stenosis. I had a great experience @ PT Solutions in Lee's Summit. It's conveniently located so there's never a problem with parking. This facility is unlike others I have used in that Katie, PT/mgr, provides the actual therapy - you are not passed on to a PT Assistant after being evaluated. Katie is a great listener & never seemed to tire of my questions, spending as much time as necessary to provide detailed explanations. She's a great cheerleader & with almost 20 years experience, she knows exactly what each patient requires. Never a problem with scheduling; she is quite accommodating. Fantastic experience: If I could put the number of stars that Katie Andes deserves I’d probably crash Google’s server nation wide. Bear with me for a moment. When I came to PT Solutions my right leg was 99% paralyzed and my left leg was about 75 to 80% paralyzed. This was all due to radiation therapy to treat prostate cancer. When the muscles in my leg atrophied so far I fell and fractured my right ankle, and also my fibula. I couldn’t move that leg at all. My muscles were so weak I couldn’t stand up even with assistance. Katie has performed a miracle on me. It’s taken six months and I’m not finished yet, but she has me up and walking mostly with a walker, but frequently without any aids at all. She's always supremely optimistic and truly invested in her patients care and progress. I expect one day soon to walk freely on my own and I’ll owe every bit of it to her. Put away any preconceptions about physical therapy and just do exactly what Katie says and she can do the same for you as she has for me. Keep calm and obey Katie. Her PTA Levi always greets you genuinely and assists with all your scheduling and paper work when needed. He makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in.

Fantastic experience: Katie Andes is indeed a miracle worker. I have watched her restore my husband's ability to walk one session at a time. In the process she also was teaching me how to help him. She involved me with his early therapy helping us all become a team. I also must mention Levi the PTA assistant. He made us feel welcomed the moment we walked into the door. He always greets us as if he was just waiting for us to get there. He has also relieved our stress by scheduling our visits and contacting doctors when we needed more scripts. This is a great team!!!!

Fantastic experience: I chose PT Solutions in Lees Summit based on its proximity to home and online reviews. I didn't know at the time what a great experience I would have with Katie and her office crew. Initially, I was unable to walk without the use of a walker. Now I'm fully mobile and able to enjoy everyday tasks. I achieved my goals only because of Katie's professional help. She is kind and patient while providing the guidance to be successful. Fantastic experience: On November 15, 2021 I had rotator cuff surgery and a few weeks later I started treatment at PT Solutions. Katie Andes the therapist that is treating me, has been thorough in the process. She is patient and particular working on my recovery to get me back to where I was in mobility and strength. I have found Katie to be dependable and diligent in the treatment I’m receiving. I am pleased with her guiding me through my work and progress to reach my goal. Fantastic experience: I recently had foot surgery requiring physical therapy in California. Since I had been a patient of Katie’s many years ago I decided to return to Missouri and have it done here. You see Katie was instrumental in my diagnosis of a brain tumor in 2008. I had seen many doctors due to dragging my right leg and all of them couldn’t find anything wrong. I had even fallen and ruptured a couple of disc in my neck and Katie had treated me for those, so I convinced my doctor I just needed more therapy. Since Katie knew most of my story and I continued to get worse, she knew with process of elimination what it was. She sent me back to my doctor with the simple words “we are not looking outside of the box.” He immediately sent me for an MRI of my head and 30 minutes later we knew I had a brain tumor. She is my PT angel and I will be forever grateful. After my surgery Katie helped me with everything as I was paralyzed on my right side from the surgery. We were together another 15 months and I walk with a leg brace only now. So, after 2 1/2 months in a wheelchair I knew she was the one to get me back walking again. We have made great progress already and I know I’ll be back to my new normal, as I know I’ll never be the old me again. I have sent several friends to Katie and will always follow her even from California now. She’s the best in my book.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Katie at PT Solutions in June 2019 and I came in related to my pelvic fracture and balance issues. My initial experience was one of doubt that therapy would help, but as time went on I began to see improvement in both my balance and my mobility. Over the time of my therapy I regained 80-85% of my strength, mobility, and balance. I was able to return to most all my previous activities without issues. I would recommend anyone to use PT Solutions in Lee's Summit. The atmosphere is pleasant and Katie is very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend PT Solutions to help with your entire body and mind! After shoulder surgery I was lucky enough to discover PT Solutions. Katie is an amazing therapist who listens to you, adjusts to your physical therapy needs, knows when to push you just enough to bring healing results faster. PT Solutions is so clean and the equipment is in pristine condition. Part of my therapy has involved dry needling which is awesome in relieving pain. Oh, and the music is fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I’m quite satisfied and encouraged with the healing progress I’m making at PT Solutions in Lee’s Summit. My story began when I fell backwards and all 6’4” of me pivoted, bouncing the back of my head off the church parking lot. I did not catch the throw from a church youth that went over my head. I began PT for my concussion in early fall 2020. Katie Andes PT MPT CSMT, started my therapy with me seated in a darkened room based on her evaluation which noted that my eyes were not tracking well, in addition to significant balance challenges and light sensitivity. During the fall and into winter 2021 I have made notable improvement. Ms. Andes has strategically increased the level of challenge in my therapy without discouraging me. I welcome additional challenges. The practices of infection control I have observed in Lee’s Summit have given me confidence in my personal safety. In addition to my healing and hope for recovery, Katie shares curated playlists which add greatly to the energy here, earning her the nickname DJkatieA.

Fantastic experience: I have been using PT Solutions for about 3 months after back surgery, laminectomy of L3-4 and L4-5. My back had been so painful I had hardly been able to walk more than about 200 feet or so. Surgery at AdventHealth Medical Center at 75th St in Merriam was immediately successful. However, I had to learn to walk again and rebuild strength after several years of steadily decreasing activity. Katie has done a wonderful job so far - not done yet. I now walk for over a mile at a time. Many other activities are becoming normal again. Katie and her staff have done this in a professional but also polite and good- humored fashion. I am confident that Katie is expert in her field as all her answers to my questions have been very thorough. As with all my experiences with affiliates of AdventHealth, it has exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic experience: I had been having headaches for several months and my ENT referred me to PT Solutions to treat TMJ. In working with Katie, she taught me the connection between upper back, neck, and shoulder muscles to the headaches and she provided me with the tools and exercises I need to reduce my head and neck pain. Fantastic experience: I was in a car crash and had a few fractures in my pelvis. After I was able to start moving again, I noticed I couldn’t participate in normal activities because of back pain. I had my back checked out and began going to physical therapy and since I’ve been here I feel stronger and I’m not is as much pain. I can now enjoy activities like I could before. I appreciate the help I have received and how comfortable and kind the environment is.

I am receiving care and results that are worth my time and money. The professionalism of Katie and Tish during the time spent in therapy, has given me very positive results.
