As a licensed physical therapist, licensed massage therapist, and certified yoga instructor, my aim is to reduce stress, pain, and tension in the body/mind to guide you back to a state of optimal health and wellness. With over 25 years of experience in healing modalities, my specialities include a variety of gentle manual techniques. I am an expert in John Barnes Myofascial Release. I am also trained in Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, Swedish relaxation massage, medical intuition, a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, Positional Release Therapy and medical massage for the neck and back. Massage and other manual therapies help with a wide variety of conditions including, but not limited to, pain stress, anxiety, depression, motor vehicle accidents, TMJ, headaches, whiplash, neck pain, back pain, bulging discs, and sciatica.
Whenever there is restriction, injury, or imbalance in the body/mind, this can affect not only the area of restriction, but also the system as a whole. In a safe, soothing, healing environment, I assist in releasing these blocks through gentle, effective, manual techniques, inviting the body’s innate healing abilities to bring you back to balance.
Prana is the Sanskrit term for breath and stands for the life force that is involved with physical, mental, and spiritual health and strength. It is similar to the terms qi and the Chinese chi. In addition to releasing tight muscles, improving blood flow, enhancing flexibility and decreasing stress, massage and bodywork frees up this life force so that your body and mind reach a more optimal state of harmony and balance.

Prana Physical Therapy & Massage: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I’m 79 years old and have been having lower back issues since I was in my 20s. Ten years ago, I was faced increasingly with expensive chiropractic fees 2-3 times a week simply to maintain some level of relief from lower back pain. I knew from past experience I could do better and less expensively with regular massage and perhaps occasional chiropractic visits. So, I went looking for a massage therapist with training in various massage techniques. In Lori Batcheller, I found not only that, but a licensed and highly experienced physical therapist. Ten years later, I’m still very satisfied with Lori’s careful and skillful work. I see her every two weeks and have had to supplement her work with visits to a chiropractor only when I was involved in projects involving heavy physical activity. I’d had skilled massage therapists decades before ever meeting Lori, but her breadth of training and experience exceeds that of any of them. Her techniques are gentle, but consistently effective as a result of that training and experience. I’m older now, but my body remains capable of normal activity and the occasional heavy project. Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Lori for years now, and I’ve been so grateful for the care and attention she’s given my body, mind, and spirit! I’ve had chronic back and neck issues for decades, tried almost everything, and the mixed method approach Lori provides has been the most beneficial and long-lasting. Five very enthusiastic stars! ✨
Fantastic experience: I was injured during a dry needling clinic for students in my neck causing extreme pain and spasms in my upper back and cervical area. I saw Lori for a session including John F. Barnes approach to myofascial release. I initially felt somewhat worse and felt super hot/flushed after the treatment (as a PT myself, I know this can be a normal response during healing). I woke up the next day and my pain that had been plaguing me for the last 10 days was GONE by noon. Thank you Lori!!
Fantastic experience: Lori is one of the top massage therapists I have ever worked with - a significant statement because I've worked with many for more than 10 years. Her training is extensive, and her presence and touch has that "it factor" that brings healing to body, mind, and spirit. I'm thankful for the gentle and effective care I've received from Lori the past few years. She is a consummate professional and has my highest commendation.
Fantastic experience: Lori is excellent! My muscles and my mind feel so relaxed after every session. I highly recommend her, especially if you have chronic pain issues.
Fantastic experience: I get Craniosacral Therapy and Massage from Lori, and they're always outstanding. I do Craniosacral therapy weekly, and it makes such a difference in how I feel in my body, and helps me achieve a deep relaxation. I have an out of body experience every time, and I don't know how she does what she does, but her touch is magical.
Fantastic experience: Lori is highly qualified for all LG the work that she does. She is passionate about the health and well being of her clients. I live in Aurora and travel to Boulder for her care. She is just that good.
Fantastic experience: Lo recomiendo muy buen lugar
Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Physical Therapy. I think the reason why I enjoy my physical therapy sessions has to do with the level of education and standards that physical therapist achieve. Especially, when it comes to dry needling. Way better than any acupuncture treatment I have ever had. Not surprising when considering a good number of the acupuncturist in the state where trained at southwest acupuncture college. This school has a recent (2013) history of non-compliance in ACAOM accredited standards. Two standards were in non-compliance. Oddly a year or two later ACAOM used the academic coordinator from SWAC as a site investigator for standards at other schools. That information was exposed to the state of Colorado during a rule setting for acupuncture injection in 2015. I don't understand how a site review could be done without reputable investigators? That's why I personally look for a PT trained at Kinetacore. It's a simple standards issue to me. But then HIGH standards is what I want out of healthcare.
