Fantastic experience: The entire staff is phenomenal! They significantly reversed the issues I had with my feet. The therapists and their assistants know what they are doing and truly make your session fun! If you need physical therapy, check this place out!

Fantastic experience: About a month ago I tore a ligament in my leg and was dealing with so much pain and distress knowing that my physical activity could diminish forever. Reaching out to the Physical therapy and sports medicine center of Bowie was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Not only was I given expert service and care during my first visit, but each therapy session thereafter has been unbelievably helpful forwards my recovery. Because of this amazing company and professionals, I will soon be able to return to 100% physical strength and continue doing what I love most, cross country. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

She had me work through a progressive exercise program that gradually got me back to normal activity. I could not have asked for a better therapist and would not think twice about going back if necessary.

The Facility is cleaned after each session and is not over crowded with participants. The customer service staff is very helpful and greets you with courtesy and professionalism. Fantastic experience: I must say I have been to several physical therapy clinics over the years and this was by far the best experience. The staff is amazing, Dr. Roger Burney, Brandi, and Armin always made me comfortable and took extra care on my bad days. I have been here twice in the past year. Once for knees and once for neck. They are like family. I will be back soon guys. I don't think I can go anywhere else now, no facility can beat this team, seriously.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Can't say enough about Roger and Brandi, and the work they have helped me put in. I came in with a Torn MCL, barely walking, very little range of motion in my knee. Because of the care they shown, and program they put me on, I was able to Jog in under 4 weeks. Within 6 weeks of my injury, I was back on the field. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at the Bowie Location for back pain and sciatica earlier this year. Sorry for the delay in posting. I would like to thank Brandi and Patience for helping me with the excruciating pain I was going through. Through their diligence, knowledge and help, I was able to recover from sciatica and get me on the correct path to getting my back fixed. Fantastic experience: I took my mom here on 5/25 it was the first time either of us had been there. My mom had suffered a few seizures after a routine surgery and was very weak, So the doctors at the hospital recommended physical therapy and sent me a long list of places. I’m so glad I decided to go to this place. Mrs. Sharon made my appointment and she was so patient, helpful and just overall a nice human being. The last 2 weeks have been very overwhelming for me and sadly, I’ve had a lot of people be not so kind through this whole stressful ordeal, So Mrs. Sharon was a breath of fresh air and it meant more to me than she knows. Everyone there is really nice, But she’s definitely the main reason I decided to go to their facility!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at the Bowie Location since I had surgery on my ankle in May of 2021. Since I have made great progress in being able to walk again with Brandi Kinard, PTA and Rodger Burney, PT. They are always kind and willing to work with you on your pain level each day and create compatible routines just for you. They have given me so much hope for a full recovery. I have made great progress and hope to be able to walk normally again in the near future. The staff at the Bowie location has been very helpful and Armond and Jesley are great with motivating you through each task during your visit. I can highly recommend Roger, Brandi and the whole team at the Bowie location of Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center.

Fantastic experience: Upon meeting, Patience G. Nduka, Pt, DPT, was friendly, pleasant, comforting as she evaluated the diagnosis given by my prescribing doctor. Much time was given to listening to the patient. She diagnosed, set goals and made a plan for exercising and strengthening and evaluated my growth each week. She demonstrated each exercise and explained the purpose of each so that I understood why the exercise was necessary for my program. As I improved, grew stronger, exercises were changed and made more difficult. Informal evaluations went on weekly and exercises to complete at home were assigned. This was unique and very helpful because this type of assignment helped me to evaluate myself. I’d also like to mention the entire staff at the Pt Center. From the manager, Billie, Jennifer, PT; Jeslyn, Ashaye, and Gabby, assistants, supported my growth and improvement over the long period of need for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Brandi is excellent! She is currently working with my 84 father. My father feels very comfortable with Brandi and is learning what he can do on his own at home so the pain stays at bay. I am more than pleased! The facility is clean and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Brandi is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind!

Fantastic experience: My physical Therapy started three months ago for a sore neck with Dr. Patience Nduka. I found Dr. Patience a very knowledgeable physical therapist who identified issues and prescribed a treatment plan specifically for my needs. She made sure I understood the exercises and how they would help me. The Bowie location was convenient with a professional, friendly and comfortable environment. The other team members Billie, Brandie, and Shay also helped make this an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: I came here two weeks ago after my knee replacement surgery, and just continue to be more and more impressed with their entire staff. I have had physical therapy several times over the past 10 years, but have never found a place like Physical Therapy and Sports Mecicine which truly cares about their patients. Jennifer is awesome. She spends time with each patient and adjusts the wellness plan and exercises to get each patient to their goals. I highly, highly, highly recommend them if you want to recuperate in a kind, supportive environment with talented, skilled staff.

Fantastic experience: Following surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, I was in for a long recovery period. But the staff is so friendly and accommodating, I enjoyed the time I spent there. Jennifer is an excellent therapist, with many tricks in her bag. I also enjoyed the aides that worked with me: Jesslyn, Shay, and Gabrielle.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center in Bowie, MD. I came to the center before and after my shoulder surgery. The staff is very friendly and give me the tools that I would need to back to normal. If you are ever in need of a physical therapist I would recommend going to them.

Fantastic experience: I was in the Military and was hit by an IED in Desert 2! I have traveled the world to fix a problem with my sacrum and Illiac Band, but I was unable to get it fixed. We moved to Bowie 4 years ago and I found Bowie PTSMC! My Physical Therapist was named Jamila, and she diagnosed the problem and within 3 months she had me to where I stayed in place! WOW! Then 3 years ago I broke my left foot playing soccer on the 4th of July, by stepping in a hole on the field. Well, it was a not a contest of where I was going. Back to Jamila at Bowie PTSMC. Within 4 months she recognized an issue with my surgery and sent me back to my surgeon were they realized my body was rejecting the metal and screws put in my foot, and was almost through my Achilles’ tendon. Surgery 2 for the foot and was right back at Bowie PTSMC. Jamila worked for 4 months to strengthen the foot to were I could walk and move on! I should mention I had the right knee still messed up with the IED attack! This year I was on a working cruise when my left knee shattered! Made an appointment with Jamila and had bilateral knee replacements by a Dr. Hungerford. I have been with them for 9 weeks and I am walking a mile on the treadmill and can do everything that Jamila can give me! No one believes I had bilateral knee replacements. I not only believe in the hard work I have done, but the Physical Therapist Jamila, who worked me through issues when I thought I could not do one more thing! She is the best Physical Therapist I have ever had! Also, the front desk people Billie and Monica make you feel welcome when You walk in, right away! The atmosphere is warm and inspiring! And if You’re doing an exercise incorrect the wonderful Physical Therapist, Jennifer, who is just as capable as Jamila will nicely correct you and explain why to do it a certain way! You can not fail here! They won’t let You!

Fantastic experience: Jennifer and her interns, especially Lashae Knight, have brought my rotator cuff back to near normalcy. Their personal and professional attention to me was awesome. I am thrilled that my doctor recommended the Bowie location, otherwise, I wouldn't have met such caring people. Continue healing ladies. I'll miss you, but should I ever need PT again, I'LL BE BACK!!

Fantastic experience: My dad is a patient at the Bowie location and love the new location. Everyone is so friendly, his therapist Jamilia is nice but firm and knows exactly how to “handle” him and the tech Lashae is a welcomed addition to the office.

Fantastic experience: I was sent here for a workers comp injury. Everyone was fabulous!!! I can’t say enough how great my experience was! They always had upbeat music playing and the other patients were friendly as well. It really made going to PT an enjoyable experience!

They have been very nice and informative in regard to my issues concerning my knee. Jamila is very knowledgeable, and she has shown me helpful stretches that I can do at home to aid in my rehab process.

Fantastic experience: August 19, 2019, My first experience with Ms. Jamila was great last week. I felt like her only client with the time she spent with me. There was no rushing at all... I did want to cry but I had my big girl panties on and endured the pain. Today is my second appointment and I hope I'm a little less tense. Love her!

Fantastic experience: Didn’t really want PT, but I was so tired of feeling bad... From the very first moment I was there the staff was great. I’m not the easiest client in any setting because I can be quite demanding... Jamila and the entire team make you feel like you’re the most important person there. I remain impressed, and ( as I said) I’m not easily impressed... I cannot overstate my happiness with this place...

Fantastic experience: The Physical therapists are very knowledgeable and thorough with treatments. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. In the past, I have been treated at two other physical therapy practices, but this practice is the best by far! The equipment is kept clean and the facility is very organized! The front desk staff and therapy assistants are very pleasant and accommodating as well! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of physical therapy!
