Fantastic experience: The great thing about doing PT at Nova Care is working with the same therapist all the time. I am fortunate to have Olivia as my therapist and it was immediately obvious that we would work well together. She is laid back and kind with a cheerful disposition, but she has a way of keeping you on task without being the least bit bossy or nasty. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: My son had an injury to his hand and after searching other PT places/locations there were only a few with OT providers. The entire front staff (Jordan, Jasmine and Tionna) are pleasant and welcoming. Olivia, OT has been an absolute pleasure the past month. She is very knowledgeable in her field, explains everything each step of the way, is friendly and professional at the same time. The rehab area is always clean with good music and other cordial therapists. We have a long recovery ahead but it is reassuring to know that we are in goods hands during this time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this facility!!

Fantastic experience: Great place that gives super care. Erin and team have helped me strengthen my rotator cuff and I'm learning through this process. I like the family atmosphere they"ve created and I the way the therapists work with clients and the relationships they've developed. The clients clearly like it there, and I detect some loyal fans!!!!

Fantastic experience: Olivia Portner, OT; thanks to the Lord is the reason I am back to normalcy. I had a major fracture in my left arm the end of April and started my rehab with her in June. Her experience and approach in the levels and work needed to get me there is to be applauded. I am driving and doing work on my job and in my home as I once did. I feel like I haven’t missed a beat. Kudos to Nova Rehabilitation in Bowie for having her on staff. She is an excellent fit to anyone needing OT. I highly recommend her for any and all rehabilitation and OT needs. Fantastic experience: If you need physical therapy, this is the place to go. Ashely And Erin (shout out) are extremely capable PT's. They won't leave you lying on the floor in pain! So nice and considerate of your needs and limits. I won't forget the front desk girls either - they are always nice and welcoming. I have been to two different rehabs in Bowie, but this one is exceptional!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going to novacare for physical therapy, they have by far the best staff I ever had the pleasure of working with, I have gone to places in the past that never cared about my feelings or concerns, but at novacare I was given the chance to voice my concerns and express my feelings.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Susan Rightnour is the physical therapist assigned to me, and she has been very helpful, even though we have only had a few sessions. She asks probing questions, she pays attention to my responses, and she watches carefully when I am doing exercises so that she can make minor adjustments and corrections in the way I am holding my arms and hands. When she does the manual manipulations of the shoulder, tendons, muscles I can feel the difference, especially after 10 minutes of ice at the end. We have 10 more sessions on the schedule, which she was kind enough to print out for me, making it easier to keep my calendar up to date. I am keeping up with my stretches at home, and I'm hoping to obviate the need for surgery. I would refer my wife to her if she needed p/t.

Fantastic experience: Kathryn is amazing. She's so professional and thoughtful and really helped me in just a few sessions. Post-partum moms take note, this is important stuff. The rest of the staff there is great too!

She is very knowledgeable, and has a special skill of compassion as she provides care and explains exercises that you can do post treatment. I love her professionalism, sensitivity to patient concerns and experience. I highly recommend her services. Stephanie Thomson and Bruce Balter are excellent physical therapists dedicated to providing quality care. They offer exercises and health information to promote injury recovery. Highly recommend their services. Greg Morgan is a great physical therapist. He is professional and dedicated to his patients healing process. I am glad he has helped me and I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: My name is Christopher I was diagnosed of Nervous System Disorder some years ago and have received several Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy from deferent providers in the area, until, I ended up in the hands Ms. Kelley Chandler at the NovaCare Rehabilitation, 16900 Science Drive Suite 104 Bowie MD, 20715. I had the opportunity of observing Kelley treat my wife and had no choice but request my Dr. for a referral to Ms. Kelly. I regret the years wasted with the so titled OTs/PTs, I had in the past. My wife and I enjoyed the Cautious receptions, professionalism and Team work that you and your co-workers displayed/exhibited on a daily basis. To Ms. Kelly, my wife and I say Kudos. You certainly deserve our recommendation at any time.

Fantastic experience: When I Istarted with this team, I had limited range of motion in my right shoulder after three surgeries. The therapists at NovaCare have provided excellent care and a solid PT plan that has helped me tremendously. after 3 weeks. I haven't got full range back, but I have confidence NovaCare will get me there. Shout out to Bruce Alter and Greg Morgan, you guys rock.

Fantastic experience: I had a knee replacement and I tell you, I would never go any where else for the other knee if and when I get the next surgery. This group of professionals are the best! Stephanie, Bruce, Craig and a host of others are excellent. They are patient with you and just know exactly what you need. Even mentally, so they are better than some doctors because they listen. Fantastic experience: Greg is my PT, he is professional. He makes sure that I do my therapy correctly. Every other day or so Greg will introduce a new exercise to work all the muscles in my shoulder and arm. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes before I start my therapy session. The Associates work well together as a team. I would recommend NovaCare to my friends.

Fantastic experience: I came to NovaCare with trepidation--my previous experience with physical therapy (after shoulder surgery) was nothing but misery and ultimately was preventing my healing. Bruce Alter has been considerate and conservative in helping me work my way back into shape after years of sedentary jobs and the resulting muscle atrophy. I highly recommend NovaCare for PT.

Fantastic experience: I have been seen by the Bowie location Therapist on and off for over eight years for a variety of military related discibilities, long term car accident problems, and even vertigo. EVERY single therapist I have had the pleasure working with has been friendly, professional, understaning, and helpful. I must add their "table-side" humor is a wonderful addition. The service is always very personable. They just outright know what they are doing. From assessing each individuals needs, developiong a plan of theraputic action, to teaching each patient the preventative maintenance we need to know to help ourselves. I truly LOVE this TEAM!

The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. My therapist, John was very professional and listened as I explained my issues and then proceeded to work with me to resolve them.
