Fantastic experience: My daughter is receiving therapy, and we are totally happy with the treatment she is receiving. The therapists and staff are excellent. Shana works at the receptionist desk, and makes us feel welcome as soon as we walk in the door. She has a smile that lifts the spirit. Thank you, MedStar.

Fantastic experience: My mom had occupational therapy here about a month ago, and when I tell Erin Clark was nothing but amazing!! This hidden gem helped my mom accomplish all of her goals that was set upon her She was very professional, kind, patient, considerate, and most of all motivational. Coming into starting therapy my mom was very apprehensive, and feeling hopeless, but Erin pushed my mom and never let her believe that she couldn’t accomplish all her goals. If you are in need of occupational therapy and need a good committed therapist look no further Erin Clark is the GOAT!! Of occupational therapist!! My mom Kelly Davis says thank you Erin!!❤️

Fantastic experience: If you are looking a great place for Physical Therapy.. consider Med Star in Mitchelleville. Great environment and atmosphere to help get you moving again. My therapist Airiana Grant was exceptional. She has been instrumental in rehabing me and my newly replaced new knee with compassion to my pain while providing the physical therapy and the job of moving me forward to walking un assisted. I never have to wait, equipment always available, place is clean, covid/flu prevention protocols in place and other therapist help motivate you as well. And the music playlists never disappoints. The music sets the tone for my sessions every session. Check them out. Just a great PT staff and facility.

Fantastic experience: This’s a friendly environment. The physical therapists are very knowledgeable. Especially my therapist Kelsi is very knowledgeable. She set goals, make sure that I accomplish my goals. At first, I thought that she was aggressive. As I proceeded with multiple sections with her , my muscle pain dramatically reduced and I became flexible with my movements. I started to appreciate her more with her knowledge. Each time that I showed up, it’s a new activities with Kelsi. Kelsi new activities had really helped me to improve my pain, I am able to move around such as getting out of bed and doing activities of daily living. I truly appreciate her expertise and knowledge in making me whole again. I highly recommend this location if you want to get better. Kelsi please keep up the good work of making sure your patients feels better. Thank you for all that you do.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr. Kelsie Davis, Imani and Abby was amazing. They all collaborated on my care and I never had to repeat what worked during the previous visit. Dr. Davis was ALWAYS there and greeted everyone when they came through the door. She always asked how you felt and used that to provide stern but compassionate care. Abby’s bedside manner was gentle and thorough. I had Imani for one session and she used her experience to treat what I was experiencing that day. I thought I would never heal from my back pain but I can truly say that team improved my situation significantly. The environment was peaceful and the music always added a touch that made you think about cleaning on Saturday mornings. It put you in the mood to put in work. Dr. Davis and team are professionals in every sense of the word.

Fantastic experience: The staff was extremely positive and upbeat. I can't say enough about Kimberly. She was extremely knowledgeable when it came to choosing the right therapy for me and advising exercises for me to do at home.

Fantastic experience: The clinic is lively & welcoming. Dr. Davis is especially knowledgeable and was able to devise a treatment plan that not only targeted the symptoms of my pain, but the actual cause.

Fantastic experience: My physical therapy sessions have been in accordance to my therapist guidelines. The exercises has reduced the pain and stiffness by ninety-five percent compared to my first therapy session when my knee was painful and swollen. My therapist Makeda is knowledgeable of what exercises I need to strengthen my knee, and she is friendly and concerned for my well-being.

Fantastic experience: I wish that I could give 10 stars to my PT Erin Clark she is a rockstar she is very approachable, professional and makes you feel so comfortable but best of all she knows her job I went in there barely able to use my hand and left with 100% use. Erin thank you from the bottom of my heart I will recommend you to everyone you are the best you love your job and it shows.

Fantastic experience: My therapy is for an injury that might not bother everyone receiving it. Now, when my right thumb bends, my index finger also bends. It impacts throwing a softball, and I play senior softball on 4 teams, about 90+ games per year. My therapist, Adrienne Tolson, is making a dedicated effort to find a solution that will stop this linkage of thumb and index finger. Not only am I impressed and thankful for her efforts, but I have observed other patients, even with mobility problems, making progress. So, I believe this is a dedicated group of therapists, helping patients get better and recover from injuries and/or ailments. Bill Alberger

Fantastic experience: Perfect is the first word that comes to mind when I think of this place. As a stroke survivor, therapy can be an Intimidating challenge but the men and women at this facility show you that you CAN overcome it. From the receptionist to the therapist themselves, this is truly a team/family environment. I absolutely love the way that therapists help out with each other's patients. Of course i don't know all of their names but YaYa, Jay, Erin, Niko, Imani and Jeffrey are the greatest. If you have to go to therapy this is definitely the place to be.

Fantastic experience: I passed a nearby PT to come to Mitcheville because of staff is attentive, the atmosphere is friendly, the PT provided the exercises need to strenghthen the problem area.

Fantastic experience: I love therapy at Medstar Mitchellville I started in 2022 after my stroke and continued after my total knee replacement. Makeda has worked with my knee for three months and my surgeon says my progress is remarkable. She is such a pleasant person. I’ve also worked with Sara, Jay and my OT is with Mike. They are all amazing and my primary doctor says my stroke recovery is exceptional. Kim, who is not my therapist, also gives me such positive feedback. Fantastic experience: I experienced multiple sessions of Professionalism,empathy and Politeness at the Mitchelville MedStar. All of my assigned Therapist were great. Hello Kelsi, Imani and Jeff and Nico. I hope I got all the names correct.

Positive experience: The therapist were awesome. The front desk check in staff were not customer service friendly. Some mornings the lights were out, but they were there at the desk. They didn't acknowledge you unless they call you to pay your copayment. Much improvement needed on the front end. Again, the therapist team was awesome, very attentive, professional, friendly and funny too. I really like them.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. The PT's were fantastic. They patiently explained all of my exercises in such detail that made it easy for me to perform at home. They explained the benefit of each exercise and watched closely to ensure that I was performing them correctly. Immediate feedback was provided when needed. I witnessed a high level of comradery among all of the PT's and I believe that patients benefit greatly in that type of environment.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a physical therapy experience that had both positive and negative aspects. Initially, I was disappointed with the service provided by Ariane. She seemed unapproachable, rushed, and didn't appear to enjoy her job. Her lack of customer-friendliness left me hesitant to continue with the sessions. However, my perspective completely changed when I met Imani. She displayed a level of professionalism and bedside manner that was truly commendable. Imani’s approach was warm and caring, making me feel comfortable and motivated during our sessions. Her dedication to her job was evident, and it made a significant impact on my overall experience. Imani’s expertise and genuine interest in her patients convinced me to give the physical therapy process another chance. I noticed considerable progress and improvement under her guidance, which I attribute to her knowledge and caring attitude. While my initial encounter with Ariane was disappointing, I am grateful to have met Imani, as she turned my experience around entirely. If you decide to pursue physical therapy at this facility, I recommend requesting Imani as your therapist. Her professionalism and excellent bedside manner can make a significant difference in your journey to recovery. Overall, my experience with this facility was mixed, but the positive impact of Imina's care cannot be overlooked.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with Ms. Grant! For any female needing specific therapy, you would definitely want to make an appointment at Physical Therapy Mitchellville. The therapist I worked with had an excellent knowledge base and made the experience one I looked forward to going. In fact, once I return to my MD at Medstar in D.C., I am requesting continued therapy with women's health at MedStar Health Physical Therapy in Mitchellville.

Fantastic experience: I received exceptional care from Medstar Health. I was not doing well at all with the concussion I was suffering from, due to a injury sustained at work. Medstar really helped turn things around. Especially with the help provided by my physical therapist. He helped me get back on track to better self care than I was doing. I had back-slidden a lot in regards to stretching and cardio. Now I still keep them as part of my daily routine and continue to become more limber and less likely to hurt myself while doing physical work. My speech therapist was fantastic also. The tele-health appointments we had was impactful and I have taken what I gained there and have applied it to life. And I feel much better and have even been able to put back on much needed weight that was lost in my successful battle with leukemia. Jignesh, the PT deserves a good "atta-boy" and slight raise. Fantastic experience: My physical therapy name is Adrienne. I have seen her twice already for help with after surgery procedure for trigger finger. she is very friendly and easy to talk to about my concerns. Have some additional scheduled appointments which she was able to fix around my schedule. Looking forward to the end results after treatment that I should have better movement in my fingers. She appears to be very knowledgeable in what is needed. Would highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: I could barely walk into the facility and fully expected that it would be some time before I would have any relief from the pain. By the end of my first session, I knew there was hope. Each time I arrived for a session. I was greeted with a smile by a staff who knew what I did during my last visit and had a plan for me to tackle to build on what I had accomplished. After each session,I knew Imy condition was improving. Coupled with the home exercises I was given and the questions I was asked by staff at the beginning of each session my confidence in the competence and professionalism increased. I feel I'm doing 95% better and give all the credit to the staff at MedStar. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Medstar Health: Physical therapy is a great place to receive physical and occupational therapy. My first experience was pleasant. Every staff member was professional and the location is convenient for residents in the area. Kendall is a nice person and very understanding on my first visit after my car was hit in the parking lot. She lot me hand the accident first during my therapy session. Kendall explain why each technic would help me re-use my rt. hand after surgery. She was professional and firm on how to use different hand motions and not be afraid to use my right hand again. I have several more visits and look forward to therapy session with Kendall.

Fantastic experience: My experience at MedStar Health Physical Therapy at Mitchellville has been exemplary. This is my second time having Physical Therapy at this site. I chose to come back because of the excellent care I received. From the time you enter to sign in, the staff are very professional and friendly. The therapists and aides are very knowledgeable and treat you as if you are their only client. I am very optimistic when I leave my appointments because I know with their help, I am on the road to a speedy recovery. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic experience at MedStar Physical Therapy at Mitchellville. I honestly feel much stronger now than I did when I began, thanks to two amazing physical therapist, Sarah and Jeffrey. They truly kept me motivated during my sessions. My back, hip and knees have improved immensely. If ever I need physical therapy again I would not hesitate to use this facility or recommend it to my family and friends. Kudos to all the staff.

She does not push you to do more than you are can do, but she does not let you do less than you are able to do. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have a good comradery from the front desk staff all the way to the therapist and the PT assistance. If you are looking for a good Physical Therapist ask for Dr. Kelsi Davis but all of them are great.
