Fantastic experience: Great Office. They really are quite professional and really know their Stuff. Kevin is one of the best PTs I have ever worked with and there have been many unfortunately. I wouldn't hesitate to use them whenever possible.

Fantastic experience: I was having a terrible time with my back. Pain and numbness. I was unable to do normal activities. PT helped a lot but did not completely resolve my problem. The therapists referred me to a surgeon who did a minimally invasive procedure on my back. Between my procedure and the excellent care I received from my Therapist Alli I am doing better than I hoped for. My pain level has significantly decreased and I am back to doing most all of my normal activities. I am once again surfing several hours a day. Not bad for a guy in his late sixties who had trouble walking around the block a few months ago.. Thanks Alli and thanks Longevity!

Fantastic experience: The owner has a GREAT business model: 40-minute sessions instead of 30, DPTs who are doing "hands on" work for the entirety of the sessions with 1 on 1 treatment, hires great staff who are genuinely interested in patient success, great creative schedules so I don't have to miss work to come to PT. I have been here for the entirety of my difficult shoulder treatment and the entire team I have worked with has been stellar: Kevin, Rachel, Tanner & Alie. Front office is very helpful with adjustments to schedule and have a great attitude that stems from an owner who has a "mission-oriented" practice. It shows.

Fantastic experience: I am recovering from bilateral knee replacement and everyone at Longevity has been great … I was experiencing limited range of motion and my PT Allie went above and beyond to help get me where I wanted to be … she only made me cry once (just kidding). Kevin and his whole crew are very welcoming … a perfect setting for getting back to your old self.

Fantastic experience: My GP referred me to Longevity Physical Therapy to address severe lower back spasms. I couldn't get out of bed or out of a car without triggering debilitating pain. I highly recommend LPT and would return if needed for this or other issues. I was able to get an initial appointment immediately and schedule a series of weekly follow ups as well. Dr. Taryn Howard assessed my condition during the first session and started me out with a couple of mild exercises to focus on relieving muscle tension. As she gauged my progress, Taryn introduced exercises designed to slowly and effectively strengthen my core, increase flexibility of my hips and hamstrings. Over time, she introduced more movements into these exercises and added weights. The results have been fantastic and I am without pain. I have incorporated the exercises Taryn provided into my daily workouts as I continue to add back complementary activities including weights, spin, swim, incline speed walks, light jogging, even PBall. Thank you LPT and Dr. Howard!

Fantastic experience: Very professional staff with excellent physical therapy knowledge. They will tailor a program to your needs, goals, and abilities. 2024 Update: I came back to Longevity to work on my hip - I was having a lot of arthritis pain that was preventing me from doing a lot of my normal activities. Taryn created an excellent program to stretch and strengthen my hips, hamstrings, and glutes. You should know that PT is a process; you can't expect it to turn things around in a week or two, and you have to be diligent (do your exercises at home!). But it's a natural way to strengthen and reduce pain and discomfort from activity. Taryn has been excellent. The whole staff is really knowledgeable, and you will see patients of all kinds - from youngsters recovering from a sports injury, to oldsters (like me!) wanting to keep fit and active. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Longevity in La Costa is awesome! I have been in and out of PT for over 15 years and Kevin Greer is one of the best . The Longevity staff is friendly and accommodating when there is a change needed …..thank you Laura!! Kevin Greer is currently helping in my post-surgery rehab from a L4-L5 Spinal fusion and right toe surgery. He is a Titleist Performance Institute certified and is simply great for any golfer / athlete trying to get back in shape after some significant pain , injury or surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable about body mechanics , but most importantly he listens to the client then adjusts the exercises/stretches based on current pain. I am glad I found this Physical Therapy provider.

I cannot say enough postive things to say about my experience with physical therapy during my recovery from a broken ankle. All the therapists were supportive, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs, ensuring I stayed on track while avoiding any further injury. Fantastic experience: An orthopedic surgeon (after an examination) recommended that I see a physical therapist to see if my ailing right shoulder (rotator cuff) would respond well to therapy. The goal being to avoid surgery and most importantly to get my shoulder to pain free functionality. I fortunately found Longevity Physical Therapy - La Costa. The team there has been absolutely fantastic. They constructed a well devised plan of therapeutic exercises for me after they took the time to understand what movements were causing pain and the degree of pain that I was experiencing with said movements. I am currently 4 weeks into my physical therapy and I can both feel and see the improvement in my shoulder. I am extremely optimistic that I will reach my goal of regaining pain free functionality in the not too distant future. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't take a moment to say a heartfelt "Thank You" to Kevin Greer. Kevin is the physical therapist who laid out my exercise plan. Fantastic experience: I tore my achilles tendon last year and come here for my PT. I have worked with Rachel, Brandon and Tanner and they are all great people and very knowledgeable. Now I regularly work with Brandon as he gives the strongest massage and pushes me to the limit each session and this is what I need in my recovery. It is unfortunate that Rachel has moved to another location and Brandon is moving out of state, but this business deserves 5star for what they have done for me.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a good experience at Longevity La Costa. When I began my treatment, I was using a cane and now I am back to walking better and feeling better. Megan and Taryn are wonderful physical therapists- who provided a good plan for me and good care.

Fantastic experience: In December I was with friends in Malibu and on last day we were away I woke up and could not walk. The pain in my lower spine was awful. My friends gave me Ibuprofen, however only helped me to get home and go get x-rays. Doctors immediately, prescribed muscle relaxers, and physical Therapy. I refused to take the pills and went for therapy right away. I went to a facility in my area of La Costa (not Longevity) and it was a very bad experience. Lets say, I will never return there again nor recommend it to anyone I know. They could learn allot from the Longevity team! My girlfriend had been going to Longevity for years and has had fabulous results. The owner happened to be at a party I was at and could not of been more lovely and said to come in. Her and her husband are the kindest owners and set a high bar for there team and patients. You feel this when you walk into Longevity! Your greeted by Kristine or Laura, who are 2 of the most patient and calm ladies I know. They both go out of there way to accommodate your appointments months ahead of time and are always so happy to assist with my schedule. They are such a delight to see there smiles as you walk in and are a true asset to the facility and the team. What a difference a happy team makes for the patients, they are extraordinary individuals. Was the best decision I have ever made to move to La Costa Longevity for my PT. Started to see Kevin twice a week. After 3 sessions with Kevin and doing everything he told to do at home I can honestly say Kevin is a master at what he does, he was able to pin point my problem immediately within a few weeks I was able to return to moderate walks and continue to strengthen my problem with Kevin's guidance. Now I am back a gym and feeling like a million dollars and can walk many miles a day again and do my yoga, and classes I love. Still have a bit of discomfort, however only when I do not keep-up my exercises. Kevin not only is exceptional at what he does, but can focus and multi-task on Managing the team and healing his patients all at the same time. Kevin, is a super person and he knows the body very well, he is kind, honest, a perfectionist, and does all of this with a smile, passion and kindness to all. I have never needed PT in my entire life, however had cancer and lots of bone issues after treatments. Kevin knew right what exercises I needed to continue to heal my issues and I will continue to listen to him forever. I had always feared PT, now I know what true dedication and compassion to heal others is like with no fear. Thank you entire Longevity Team, Health is my wealth and you have gifted it back to me!! Brett and I collaborate often on athletes, and Brett is the easily the best return-to-play, return-to-functional-life rehabilitative specialist in SoCal. Further to that, when I get stuck in dealing with my own injuries or biomechanical dysfunctions, I know that I can implicity trust Brett to sort my issues out, and get me back on the path to robust functionality. His skills are unmatched, his kindness and warmth, genuine!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had 20 sessions with Brandon Tran and they’ve been fantastic. The front desk personnel are always sharp and attentive. Brandon is quite gifted. He knows/has learned my knee weakness from my ortho at UCSD and delivers the perfect therapy. Started with strength training, then progressed to balance,and endurance exercises of knee area. I’m sore to stiff 2 days later. Which is what I expect. Brandon pushes me every session to do more… what else could you want. I returned to Longevity from shoulder surgery 2 years ago and their PT personnel ( Casey and Rachel) were equally fabulous. I’d recommend this facility hands down as one of the best. Many stories do exist of a PT person re-injuring a patient. NOT HERE. These people are pros.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience at Longevity and I'm going to miss my weekly visits! Tanner Roche was my PT and he was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and really helped me with a difficult recovery post shoulder surgery. Tanner took the time to learn about my injury and goals to create a program that was best to help me get back to the hobbies I love! While I mainly worked with Tanner, I also had a great experience working with Megan and Brandon. Everyone is so friendly, kind and welcoming. Tanner was easy to work with and really tailored my therapy to my activities. He was also great at keeping me realistic and providing knowledge on the type of injury I had and how long rehab might take. I'm 100% today thanks to Tanner and the team!

Fantastic experience: One week after I underwent knee surgery for a torn meniscus (and other stuff) I attended Longevity and was assigned to Rachael. She was absolutely fantastic at showing me a progression of exercises to rebuild strength, mobility and balance. She also provided a long-term plan for me to keep up with the exercises. Fantastic experience: Brandon is a fantastic physical therapist! He explains the physiology to help me understand how each exercise will help. Paying close attention to what I'm doing, he makes fine tuning adjustments that markedly improve effectiveness. And Brandon's personable and funny (on purpose mostly!); I look forward to our sessions and always leave feeling uplifted.

Fantastic experience: After working with 2 other PT companies for the same problem, I feel Longevity Physical Therapy, has been my charm! I contribute this mainly to Rachel Berman, PT, DPT whose ability to tune in exactly to my ankle's issues has been incredible. Rachel seems to have not only the kinesiology knowledge, but the common sense lacking these days. Wow, that speaks volumes. Rachel Berman is kind and encouraging; (never a "put down" which I have certainly experienced) yet, unbelievably capable of finding "just enough" of the correct treatment that I have seen positive changes since working with her. In less than 2 months Rachel has helped me see progress which after 3 and a half years I thought was hopeless! While I realize she can't fix my ankle, she seems to find just the right combination of treatment and changes it "just enough and gradually." Rachel doesn't push you ridiculously, leaving you in pain etc as too many, especially younger PTs I've not only witnessed personally, but heard these same complaints from many: especially older people! Longevity has top of the line equipment which also makes the difference. At the end of the session they utilize a compression icing system while other companies give you the same ice pack or cheaper than the therapy packs you keep in your home freezer. It matters and perhaps truly aids in healing after treatment. I have already suggested Longevity to others and I will continue to. Ironically, while being not so very old, Rachel Berman has the wisdom of one much older and is truly one jewel of a Physical Therapist! I am sincerely grateful for her!

Fantastic experience: For over 15 years I have had pain in my knees that made it difficult to hike and descend stairs. Over that time, I had lots of physical therapy with limited success. Facing a knee replacement, I decided to give physical therapy one last chance. In September my orthopedic surgeon recommended Longevity Physical Therapy where I was assigned Brandon Tran. Brandon quickly diagnosed the cause of my problem -- tight muscles in the thigh and hips. Over two months, he gave me targeted, progressive, effective, exercises that improved my range of motion, strength, and balance. I can now hike and do steps without pain! He also gave me maintenance exercises to preserve the progress. He set back the clock 15 years! Thank you, Brandon. I highly recommend Longevity Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the young PTs that expertly diagnosed and explained my troubles. The stretches and exercises worked well. Brandon went beyond the original issue to help with another painful problem area also. He taught me enough to keep improving on my own so that I can resume Yoga, wing foiling and snow skiing without relapsing.

Fantastic experience: I have been struggling with a shoulder and arm injury for several months. I was seeing another physical therapist with very little improvement. Fantastic experience: LONGEVITY IS THE VERY BEST, UP TO DATE PHYSICAL THERAPY OFFERED IN NORTH COUNTY!! I have been in and out of physical therapy here for years, mostly rehabbing after a bone surgery (my 'jock' souvenirs for skiing, basketball, hiking mountains). All the pt businesses have been adequate but LONGEVITY is so superior. I am working with a therapist one on one for my entire session- this is how they all work with you. They are really THERE WITH you, actually helping you to recover muscle strength and stamina. I work hard as does my therapist. He knows his stuff and I am so thankful for this PT- it is top notch.

Fantastic experience: Longevity Physical Therapy has been a godsend for me. They’re a fun group and very professional. I got the pleasure of working with Kevin Greer who specializes in golf player recovery. I appreciate how he got me started slowly on exercises and eased me back into recovery. I had a micro discectomy and laminectomy but was able to play again after six months all credit to Kevin for his thoughtful and methodical program for me.

Fantastic experience: I've had physical therapy before but this was the first time it truly made a difference. The team is amazing, I've been working with several different physical therapists and over the several months noticed distinct improvements to my injury. Truly the first time I saw real progress. They are also attentive when other problems came up, helping work through domino issues because of my initial injury, as well as building routines and getting the right gear to help prevent future injuries. Plus, everyone is so friendly, you'll often find the time flying by. It has the feel of a community. These people truly care and love what they do.

Fantastic experience: I saw Megan Reinhold at Longevity after a recommendation from a friend at my gym. Megan was outstanding in every way. I had already seen another physical therapist twice for the same issue as well as a chiropractor and a pain specialist. All of them were excellent with no complaints about them. But I learned more from her and feel like I am finally on the right path after seeing her.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Longevity LaCosta. The staff was warm and friendly and made my time at Longevity enjoyable. Ali was my physical therapist, and she met every expectation I had. I was dealing with a painful neck injury that left me unable to carry out simple tasks. I had been to two other therapists in San Diego and left with no results. I had almost given up until I met Ali. She was able to assess the situation quickly and came up with an aggressive plan to treat me. By the end of my treatment plan, I felt like a new person and lived relatively pain-free. While I have flair-ups here and there, she gave me a solid plan to help mitigate the pain without medication. If you're looking to get right for the new year, Ali is the way to go!

Fantastic experience: I had such neck tension and pain that it generated migraine headaches. So, going to PT was only to have been an interim step to relieve some of the pain while awaiting a neurologist appointment. However, through the daily exercises provided by Dr. Rachel at Longevity Physical Therapy, the relief was miraculous; and, the neurologist recommended I stick with the PT since it was working so well.The location is ideal, the staff very professional and the commitment of everyone at the practice is impressive.
