Fantastic experience: The team at PT in Motion in Carlsbad are amazing! I came in with frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) and over the last several months, they have helped me nearly eliminate all pain and gain back full range of motion. Ruby is the most caring, empathetic, and knowledgeable physical therapist I have worked with (I have encountered many). She provides a personalized treatment plan, takes the time to explain the condition and answer questions in a way that is understandable! Alex is a gem of an office manager, making scheduling easy, no wait times and keeping things organized. Mason is a great PT assistant helping out with exercises and patient. PT is not something I usually look forward to in the mornings, but Ruby and her team somehow make the experience so fun and supportive – I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We love this place! Especially Kimberly. My child has been a client of the Carlsbad location for ~2.5 years and has seen really amazing growth in that time. Kimberly is our current therapist and she is an absolute gem of a person - she is such a caring and invested therapist with great ideas on how to support my child's development. She has developed such a great relationship with my child and the trust she has earned enables greater growth. The office manager, Alex, is really on top of everything as is always very kind to my other child that is often with me (and often a bit zainy).

Fantastic experience: So happy I found PT in Motion. Great staff and great results! I have bi-lateral tennis elbow and Dr. Ruby helped me so much. She is exceptional and super knowledgeable. I already have referred family and friends to her to be their PT.

I’ve seen genuine improvement with my back pain over time, they don’t sugar coat issues and explain clearly how to help yourself with recovery.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been seeing Ruby for a couple of months and have been extremely happy with her. My 7 year old son was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatters Disease & she has been really helpful in helping build his core and helping relieve some pain.

Fantastic experience: Ruby, Mason, and Alex were all a joy to work with on my shoulder and knee injuries over these last 3 months. I was always welcomed and the growth I’ve experienced, in part due to my dedicated time in PT, I will take with me as I move onto a different city where I will continue my new lifestyle habits that incorporate all my at home PT exercises, etc. I will legitimately miss the laughs, through the intentional healing exhaustion that is PT.

Fantastic experience: We tried many places before finally finding PT in Motion. Jody is the BEST!! She has helped my youngest daughter, who has cerebral palsy, and my teenage daughter, who has injured herself playing sports. She is truly wonderful with kids and so caring. Fantastic experience: I heard about PT in Motion from a fellow Mom of a child with disabilities. Our son was receiving physical therapy from the Medical Therapy Unit (part of CA state services), but the location was far away and each visit was taking two hours out of our child's very busy life (between his other therapies, school, doctor's appts). So, convenience was why we looked for for a new PT, but what we got were VERY experienced PTs who on first visit helped our son in incredible new ways. All three therapists have been phenomenal, billing with insurance is smooth, and Alex at the front desk always take good care of us. Being a medical parent has many stressors, but this area is not one of them. And we have since increased our son's visits to 2x a week. Thank you to the PT in Motion team!

Fantastic experience: I was having some severe back pain and was referred to Lisette. After having me do a few movements she was able to evaluate the source of my pain and the potential cause. She had me do a few exercises which increased my range of motion and reduced the pain I was in within minutes. I walked out in way less pain than when I entered. She also gave me some exercises to do at home. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends who may need to rehab an injury.

Fantastic experience: After being treated with various and numerous PTs throughout the city and multiple states. I have four ONE PT than has helped with my pain and range of motion. The progress made was from day one. I am grateful to Jody for all the time and expertise that she brings to the profession. There are many, many charlatans in the industry. Fantastic experience: UPDATE: AUG2022 We have been seeing Ms. Jodi for almost 4 years now. She identified Samantha's Cerebral Palsy early on and we were able to start a variety of treatments much earlier than had we not been going to PT In Motion. We are so grateful for Ms. Jodi and appreciative of having her on this journey with us. Jody has been AMAZING. My daughter started going to PT In Motion Nov 2018 at 8mos and we are so happy with her progress! More than just the physical therapy and teaching us parents stretches and exercises to do at home, Jody takes the time to answer our million questions. She teaches us our full scope of options and enables us to make knowledgeable decisions for our daughter. Not to mention that Sammie LOVES her and looks forward to each visit. The whole office is great! Dana is always so welcoming and funny. We are grateful to be a part of the PT in Motion Family!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend PT in Motion! My teenage son had a shoulder injury and after several other PT places, PT in Motion helped my son learn how to use his shoulder again without pain. The therapists are wonderful. Convenient hours.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this place and highly recommend! I have a 6 month old that had a mild case of torticollis and was told to get a PT recommendation. Jody was AMAZING and showed us so many things to work on (at home) to help the tightness in my baby girl's neck. After 5-6 sessions, we saw MAJOR improvements and Jody even helped with some other developmental things such as sitting, crawling, etc. During the sessions, Jody stretches and plays with your baby to help them through the exercises. My baby girl LOVED her sessions and looked forward in playing with Jody! So glad we found a great local physical therapist that specializes in babies/children.

Fantastic experience: Jody, at PT in Motion, was such a tremendous help for my herniated disc problem. It all started with her being a great listener, and making sure we were both on the same page. She asked appropriate questions to learn more about my issue, then proceeded systematically through my treatment. She had a very good gauge of my tolerance to pressure with massage trigger points, with stretching, and with my range of motion exercises. She was able to generate a lot of digital pressure to relieve my problematic triggers. I have been to other physical therapists in my area, but am very confident and excited to have found Jody to provide my treatment.

Fantastic experience: Our son has been attending PT Motion for about 2 years now. We couldn’t be happier. Christine has done a tremendous job of building a great relationship with our 5 year old son. Along with having high expectations for him. It is evident that Christine has a passion for working with children with special needs. She is positive, encouraging and driven and most importantly kind hearted. Our son enjoys his time with Christine. As a result he has had tremendous growth in all areas these past two years. Currently we are doing are therapy through Zoom and we have had great success . After having had some bad experiences in the past It feels good to see my son laugh and enjoy his time during therapy. We are truly blessed to have Christine as our sons therapist. PT Motion is truly a great place that cares about your child.

Fantastic experience: As someone who’s been through 3 rounds of PT at 3 different locations this is for sure the best one! All of the staff have taken my specific pains and my strength levels into consideration every session. Where as in the past I have felt rushed through the exercises just to get me through! This is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has had wonderful personalized therapy here. Kaeleigh is SO good and attentive. She is professional, personable and skilled and we really appreciate that she gives particular attention to our daughter's needs in her individual sport. I have been to many physical therapy offices over the years, but few give such individual attention to the patient.

Fantastic experience: Best PT in North County. On top of that they take Military insurance. Will does wonders on my back. I go in hurting and come out feeling great. Dana is great with scheduling and working with insurance companies to get visits approved. So glad I found PT In Motion to help rehab my back, back to normal.

Fantastic experience: Will at the Carlsbad office has been amazing. I came in with a stretched/strained MCL that was about 90% better but I was not able to make it any further on my own. Will worked the ligaments and muscles involved out, gave me strengthening exercises and lots of great advice to get me back and active. I am back at my regular activities with no pain and feel confident in my knowledge of preventing other injuries to the area. I am grateful. Will is good at what he does. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I started going to PT In Motion when the VA referred me to them for back pain and neuropathy in 2014. I've been working with Jody ever since. With regular treatment and following her recommendations, I manage my pain effectively and rarely have to take NSAIDs. Highly, highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Great place, staff is fantastic, very friendly and works with my schedule. Will is wonderful and has worked magic on my shoulders. Dana is very friendly and helpful. Really enjoy getting physical therapy here and would recommend this place to anyone. Bonus is they take the military health insurance. Very clean and they keep everything sanitized and everyone wears a mask to keep you safe.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with PT in Motion in Carlsbad has been wonderful. We were able to get in the following week for our eval and the staff were so helpful and available for any questions we had and were very accommodating with our schedule. Our therapist, Will, is phenomenal. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and we have seen such improvement in just a few weeks! A wonderful pediatric PT group, very happy we found them!

Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly from the front desk to the therapists and assistants. The location is easy to find once you locate it. The office is clean and comfy. The staff are taking preventative COVID-19 procedures temperatures and masks to protect patients. It is handicap accessible and parking is available. The staff are flexible with scheduling, thank you Dana. I have noticed a great improvement in my condition since I started therapy here with Will. They do accept Tricare, as a retiree I would recommend this business to anyone in need of their services.

Fantastic experience: I always feel safe coming in. The environment is clean, temps are taken and recorded. My PT, Will Ayers, is with me for each and every session. I am not handed off to another PT or a PT assistant. He gave me a home program from my first visit and continues to check in about exercises. Dana is an expert at dealing with insurance. I met one of the owners... locally owned and operated, I highly recommend PT in Motion.

Fantastic experience: My Son had a partial tear of Ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow from baseball. (side note - if your child is a pitcher, TAKE THE SUMMER OFF). Good news was he didnt need surgery, bad news was he was sidelined for 6+ months and was in pain. He worked with Will who had him on a rehab/strengthening plan from the start. Goals were set from day 1 and goals were achieved! We as parents couldnt be happier with the outcome. Besides the PT, the communication Dana and Will had with us was another reason why we love PT Inmotion. She makes home visits, works with the clients and family on a very personable level to achieve the best results. She takes the time to actually talk to people and gets to know their wants. Anytime I have called or emailed with questions and concerns she gets back to me right away and lays out various options to help solve any issues. Kristin does not push what she thinks is best for clients but instead works with them for the best outcome that the client is happy and comfortable with.
