These services help to enhance the treatment and recovery of those who have had a stroke, suffer from chronic arthritis, or are recuperating from joint replacement surgeries.

The long-term care program at St. Joseph Manor Health Care offers residents and their families the peace of mind that comes from having tenured caregivers and low staff turnover. The Mater Dei Adult Day Health Program at St. Joseph Manor Health Care offers support and relief to caregivers who provide 24-hour support to a loved one.  It provides a safe, comfortable and engaging environment for your family member so you can work, run errands or take a break from the stressful duties of care giving. They serve individuals 18 years and older who have a disability or illness that requires skilled nursing management or custodial care and supervision to remain safe.

Utilizing the home-like environment of a skilled nursing program, respite care services provide families with temporary relief from the mentally and physically exhausting duties associated with care giving. Loved ones can stay for just one night or for as long as 30 days. They participate in the life enrichment activities, enjoy delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals in our dining room, and experience all of the benefits of a long-term resident.

The Palliative Care Program seeks to meet each individual’s needs and is not dependent upon a prognosis. Palliative care can be provided in conjunction with any curative and life prolonging treatments the resident has chosen to undergo. A personalized Palliative Plan of Care is developed for each resident or patient based on their assessed needs and those of their family.
