Fantastic experience: 3 Months after my rotator cuff surgery and thanks to my PT Kelvin Campbell and the great support staff from G3, I feel that my shoulder movement and my strength are almost back to normal. I will continue to improve with the exercises that I have learned from them. I was able to hike Angels Landing at Zion National Park this weekend with no pain. Kelvin while pushing my limits but without taking unnecessary risks, has made my recovery seem easy. Forever grateful!

Fantastic experience: I have received physical therapy at numerous facilities in the last 20+ years. G3, by far, exceeds any of my previous experience with physical therapy. The facilitation of a full recovery is enhanced by the skill, knowledge and experience of the therapists & the attention to detail by the p.t. assistants and aides. In addition, the procedure of spending 30 minutes with a therapist and 30+ minutes stretching and exercising with an assistant are invaluable. In addition, after receiving instruction and guidance, I have practiced many of the stretches and exercises at home. Finally, the welcoming atmosphere, the friendliness and congeniality of all the staff, & the cleanliness of the facility and the upbeat music make for a very rewarding and successful experience.

Fantastic experience: G3 has given me back the ability to be athletic. I came in needing some help in multiple areas.They educated me with simple, practical steps and exercises on a daily time line of 10 minutes. Their goal was to teach me to know my body and how to help it so I wouldn’t need monthly adjustments. I did the work and now two years later, I’m rock climbing, surfing, and running. I’m definitely stronger! I know what to do when my body feels tight. I highly recommend this practice and their methods!

Negative experience: This place waited a week to tell me that they didn't accept my insurance. This was a big setback in my physical therapy process.

Fantastic experience: G3 has an incredible partner in my recovery from near fatal injuries, with 12 broken bones (and three surgeries) and a massive concussion, received when a pickup truck hit me while I was using a crosswalk. Dr. Alex Cerna and his team of aides/interns and PT doctoral students have so supportive, helpful and patient. I been able to return to a nearly normal life because of these wonderful people. They have helped me to improve continuously, encouraging me to put in the hard work to get back to nearly 100% strength and mobility, and soon all the way back! The front desk people have been great too, helping me navigate insurance and billing, and scheduling throughout the past 18 months. I strongly recommend G3 and Applied Functional Science (AFS), the approach that G3 follows. I know I would not be as well recovered if I had gone anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: My 15 year old son severely sprained his ankle during a competitive club volleyball tournament. G3 not only rehabbed his ankle but taught him stretching and strengthening exercises that he continues to do before games and practices. Additionally, G3 recommended the right ankle braces for him to effectively prevent future sprains. After seeing how well the braces work, many of his team mates now wear them to prevent injuries. I highly recommend G3 to heal, but also to help you prevent future injuries.

Fantastic experience: G3 Physical Therapy has certainly helped me. I have worked with Alex in Encinitas and Tom in Solana Beach and they have encouraged me to get where I am today. G3 is the best!

Fantastic experience: I’ve got about 3 months of PT to go. I’ve only had two sessions here at G3, and the results I’ve seen already have been very surprising. I recently had labrum repair surgery, as well as undergoing recovery from a rotator cuff tear. I’m working with Peter Diaz, and clearly G3 hires knowledgeable and professional staff, because as I mentioned, the results have been shockingly good for just a few days. It feels like somebody sprayed WD-40 lubricant in my shoulder!! I highly suggest G3, and especially the Physical therapist Peter.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Richelle R. (PT, DPT). She initiated an insightful assessment and produced an effective manual (table work) and physical therapy (floor work) plan with early, steady and reassuring results. In addition to direct work with me, she directs G3's talented and enthusiastic team on the floor who also monitor and step in to guide me through Richelle's floor therapy work sequence as posted on the whiteboard. They, in constant communication with Richelle, observe and correct me in my stretches and equipment use. This studio is upbeat and has a perfect balance of professionalism, personality, teamwork and positive energy. The process used here is efficient, and I was able to get an initial assessment appointment quickly.

Fantastic experience: Just want to give a shout out to Rose at the Encinitas location, the pt that worked with me for many weeks. She was so professional and keen to help. I was hit on the head and she went through many hoops to improve my issues as a result. Thank you Rose for your patience and efforts in working with me.

Negative experience: Lenient attitude regarding Covid precautions. Given this is a “healthcare facility”, it is surprising that staff, patients, and family members of patients are allowed by owners to disregard state requirements. Too bad!

Fantastic experience: My back is so much better after 5 sessions. I continue to do the stretching exercises. So far, no pain! The staff was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have had a lot of Physical therapy because I have 4 herniated disc in my neck. The team at G3 is amazing! Fantastic experience: AT 90 years, I have acquired several kinks that need frequent attention. I have received this attention at G3 from Physical Therapist Brie who has treated me virtually at Home and at G3. The combination of Brie's therapy and exercises led by other staff members at G3 have kept me independent, walking our dog Dudley and bird watching.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. I came in for a Rotator cuff tear and opted no surgery. After about 3 months I was back surifing and my shoulder feels amazing and stronger. Kevin was my PT and he listened to what I thought was going on in my body. We worked more as a team, which I am a Pilates Instructor by trade and was so happy that he was on board with that. I went back to him for my hip and lower back because it was an old injury that acted up again and we dealt with that issue. So yes I have been there almost a year! But don't want to leave. :-) I just have to say that the Applied Functional Science, the technique they work with, is fabulous and it works.

Fantastic experience: Amazing group of PT's!! After having 4 hip replacements in the last 16 years, I have been thru so many PT's I can't even count, but I am NOT kidding when I tell you that G3 was a game changer!! It literally changed everything for me. They identified the reasons for all my back problems and they got me to such a good place, that I took up Beach Volleyball (at age 60), after not being able to play any sports for almost 15 years. I go to them now now to address my VB issues, mostly overuse (ha ha, but it's true) and they always get me back on track and also help me stay ahead of potential issues. That's really key. I have referred so many people to them and they all loved G3. Tom, Alix and Monika are the 3 I go to, and I cannot express how grateful I am to their entire team. I HIGHLY recommend them. They literally changed my life.... for the better, and I am so grateful.

Fantastic experience: By far the best PT organization ever. Best therapists - by far- best assistants, best office staff. Whether you need help with recovery, maintenance or improvement G3 is the place to be. Safe, well equipped facilities as well.

Fantastic experience: Recently I took a terrible fall, which caused me considerable damage but no broken bones. After a week packed in ice nursing multiple strains and bruises, I turned to Sandra van Gilder at G3 Therapy to plead for help, knowing we would have to work remotely. As a result of our sessions, I have recuperated quickly and found that my back, knees, hips, and feet are pain free and considerably more flexible and stable. What Sandra is teaching me is designed to prevent future injuries while gently strengthening and making my body more functional for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: Tom Henson is the best PT i've ever had work on me. he pays attention, processes the problem and then implements therapy in a very focused manner. He brought me back to full activity after each of my injuries. Highly recommend him for the slightest to the worst injury recovery. Can't say enough about how good he is.

Fantastic experience: G3 has been a wonderful experience! I was having severe back and leg pain from sciatica and my doctor referred me to G3. There was some sort of mix up with my insurance and I was told I would not be covered. Rather than letting me leave in pain, G3 offered to honor my copay price with or without my insurance. They genuinely just wanted to see me healed and healthy. Treatments were always gentle and effective. They have an amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable staff that made me laugh and kept me comfortable. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend G3!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Kevin at G-3 for about two years to avoid spinal surgery. Kevin took my spinal health seriously and today I am stronger than ever. All the staff is kind and patient from the front desk staff to the Exercise Assistants. Think of Physical Therapy first before surgery or G-3 for after surgery care. Patti Greer

Negative experience: I do not recommend coming here if 1. You are concerned about the pandemic, or 2. If you have pelvic floor issues. They clean the exercise equipment regularly, however, they are at full capacity, meaning the inside area is packed with people. Also, I saw 6 people inside without masks; one of whom seemed to be the owner/manager. She walked all the way through the building before putting on her mask. I came in for pelvic floor PT and do not feel that I was receiving quality advice.

Fantastic experience: I started going to G3 about 4-5 years ago for neck/back pain. I saw a lot of improvement with both my lower back and neck after implementing the various exercises/stretches I learned at G3. I started going to G3 again this Spring for pelvic floor/lower back issues related to pregnancy. I have learned so much from Sandra -- she has taught me so many exercises throughout my pregnancy and I'm so grateful for all the pelvic floor knowledge she has passed along!

Fantastic experience: When I starting working with Kevin at G3, I had chronic back and neck pain. I had worked with a number of physical therapists and a bunch of different treatment modalities. Each time, I would get temporary pain relief but the approaches never fully addressed the underlying alignment issues that would ultimately cause a relapse anytime I worked out. I love the G3 approach which involves repatterning of movement and strengthening of weak muscle groups over time so as your body evolves, so does your confidence. It's also a super positive, warm and motivating environment. From the front desk folks, to the team approach of the therapists and the aids, you feel welcoming and supported throughout the process. And I'm truly thankful for Kevin, who has been a true partner and expert in my healing. By attentively listening, tapping his knowledge and expertise as well as his intuitive sense of what was going on, I was able to get back into balance and am now painfree most of the time. In addition, he armed with exercises and practices I can use to adjust when my neck, back or hips go out of alignment which is pure gold!

Fantastic experience: I had experienced a couple of different physical therapy facilities in my lifetime and can say that G3 is by far the best. Not only for their expertise, but their unique and interesting therapeutic treatments/movements. All that, delivered in a friendly, personable, upbeat atmosphere. It's kept me interested and motivated!

Fantastic experience: I had my left hip replaced seven weeks ago and I have been going to G3 three times a week for 3 weeks now. The G3 staff has been outstanding. They know their stuff and make what can be a grudging experience a fun one. Most importantly, my hip has made marked improvement in but 3 weeks. This place gets a solid thumbs up from me!

Fantastic experience: I had some severe ankle issues and was facing some large challenges getting back to running, the team is amazing here! I have done 4 x 9 miles runs this week and hope to do the Carlsbad Marathon again in 2018! Not only did they fix my existing issues, they help me prevent future injuries with proper exercises and stretching.
