La Costa Solutions for Women

Fantastic experience: I have only been living here a short amount of time but I can say that this an excellent sober living. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and includes a pool and jacuzzi as well as gym membership and food included! It is a pretty structured environment but with flexibility to be who you are. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: When in the depth of my disease I frantically searched for rehabs. i called and called different places and no one would return my calls. Patti from La Costa solutions for women had called me. I cried with joy that someone was there to help me. I went over to her sober living and met her there, I explained my situation without hesitation Patti helped me move in, and created a new sober life style. Patti is more than a professional, she's loving, caring and a great mentor. I can't thank Patti enough for what she's done for me. I guess I can say she "saved" Me. I now am 5 months sober, I am a new person, mother, sister, daughter, and friend too many. All thanks to la Costa solutions for women!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about Patti and I can't say enough about this genuine place of healing she created. If it wasn't for her day program and personal guidance and support she gave me in my early recovery I don't know where I would be today. She quite frankly was a key player in saving my life. Her day program was a perfect fit for me. Her house was full at the time but she introduced me to her day program and I was able to attend her morning meetings daily, meet with her once a week for support and spend time at the house gaining a meaningful support system with the quality women I met there. Her heart is golden and 100 percent about recovery. She keeps her program real and recovery focused at all times. She speaks directly and her honest words were OFTEN exactly what I needed to hear and EXACTLY when I needed to hear it. I still am in contact with her today years later. She is such a inspiration to me and has been instrumental in my life. I could keep going on but mainly I want to say if you're serious about your sobriety and you want to recover in a beautiful home with a strong passionate woman always there to support you ... THIS IS THE PLACE.. LOOK NO FURTHER! My heart will always carry a part of La Costa Solutions and Patti with me. Thank you Patti!

The owner (Patti) & all the staff have the clients best interest at heart & are committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure you succeed. Fantastic experience: Personally, I worked for the owner, Patti, for almost a year as her House Manager and I can tell you, from also knowing other sober living homes in the area, her home is authentic and real. She isn't trying to work w/treatment centers to bring women forth, she truly cares about getting and keeping women sober and helping them navigate through life. What she offers at her home, besides one on one time with her, is a food, exercise services, a beautiful home wiht a pool and space, a great environment to live in with other sober like minded people and her location is prime to a lot of meetings, and other sober events in the community. I've referred at least half a dozen people to LCS and all have been able to stay sober through living in her home! I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I lived at La Costa Solutions for Women for almost two years and I truly believe that this home and the owner, Patti Hopkins, saved my life. I was hesitant to try sober living but when I went to visit the house, I felt an instant connection to Patti. Her down to earth personality made me feel so comfortable and accepted which is something I had been searching for my entire life. The structure of the house and Patti's hands on attitude helped me grow from a child into a young woman with grace and dignity. There are other sober livings in San Diego but none with an owner that cares so deeply about what she does. Patti fights right along side of you for your recovery. LCS is truly a safe haven for women in early recovery to grow and learn to live an honest sober life and I highly recommend it to anyone who may be struggling.

Fantastic experience: La Costa Solutions for Women was the only program that was able to effectively change my poor behaviors that were run by my addiction problems. After struggling with active addiction for 14 years, in and out of treatment programs all over the state of California, seeing different expensive therapists of every kind, LCSW and specifically the help of Patti Hopkins is what made the influence I needed in order to change my life around (after a 30 day detox/inpatient). The house is beautiful, clean, the women are kind, and the plan Patti has her clients follow is really life changing if you are ready to apply yourself. This is the sober living to go to! It’s everything you would want a sober living to be.

Fantastic experience: La Costa Solutions for Woman saved my life. Patti’s house is a safe living environment with structure, coaching, and guidance. When I moved into the house fresh out of a 10 day detox stay, I was a small business owner and keeping my schedule was important to me. Her house has enough freedom I was able to, but also structure to keep me on track and accountable. Patti taught me how to live life in sobriety, while living life. Her home is absolutely beautiful and the house manager was amazing, and this is where I met my very first sponsor too. Not only was her program and house what I needed to survive, the community she introduced me to is one I will be apart for forever.

While living at LCS I was given tools and support that I have taken with me and practice now that I am home. I have six months clean and am LIVING a life that got its foundation at LCS. The home is beautiful and the women are serious about living a recovery program, each person has a personal history and issues that need special attention, I was one of these people and the individual attention plus daily groups was part of the reason for my success.
