Corey, our licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, has been involved in the field of physical therapy for 4 years. He enjoys rehabilitating patients back to their goals and more! Corey completed his undergraduate degree at California Lutheran University, where he played collegiate basketball. He has loved the sport of basketball since 5th grade. He played competitively through high school and college, and still enjoys playing several times a week. He is eager to bring his experience of rehab and sports to help patients recover from injuries and return to what they dream of!

Hello and welcome to Cal Rehab and Sports Therapy in Camarillo! I am thrilled to serve our local community as the new Clinic Director. I was raised in Burbank, California. My family and I spent our summers in the Oxnard/Ventura area and now I am fortunate to live in this area. My background in dance, Pilates, yoga, neuroplasticity training and energy healing has given me a deep passion and excitement for healing and helping others to achieve a high level of personal wellness. I believe in a holistic path of mind, body, and soul to wellness, and it is with energy, compassion and creativity, I partner with my patients to help them achieve their health goals. Hello, I'm Ryan Tanghal, your CalRehab- Camarillo PSR (Front Desk) & Aide/Tech. I've been in this field since 2016 working and volunteering in multiple Physical Therapy and Athletic Training offices between California and Colorado.

My interests include any and all sports with most of my time and money going toward golf, surfing, disc golf, volleyball, and snowboarding. I'm a bit of a gear junkie and enjoy spending all of my free time outside doing something active.

Thanks to direct access, we can see any patient without a referral from a doctor for an initial evaluation. If our therapists believe that physical therapy is a good option for your needs, we can work with you and your physician to obtain a prescription for continued care. If your diagnosis requires additional expertise, we can also refer you to a specialist to handle your care.

Please wear or bring comfortable athletic/workout clothing to change into. This includes shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt and sneakers. Your attire should also allow easy access to your injured area for treatment by your physical therapist.

The frequency of your treatment will depend on your physician’s prescription and the plan of care developed by your physical therapist. Most patients require treatment two to three times per week. The duration of treatment will depend on your injury and personal progress. Your physical therapist will discuss this with you following your initial exam and subsequently as you progress.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand than an occasional emergency or illness may arise, in which case you may have to cancel your appointment closer to your scheduled time.

We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. Before your initial visit, we will verify in and out of network benefits with your insurance company. The cost of therapy is determined by the benefits of your insurance plan, including the deductible and co-pay, or patient percentage. We are happy to check with your insurance company to determine the terms of your coverage. Payment for patient responsibility is due at the time of service.
