Libra Physical Therapy

Self-referred clients without insurance are seen on cash-for-service bases.  Cash-for-service base applies also to clients whose insurance plan is “out-of-network”. These clients will receive appropriate documentation from our clinic and then inquire with their insurance company for reimbursement of payments. 

  The clients who have insurance that covers PT services may attend Therapy without prescription (option available in Michigan since 2015), however insurance may not reimburse them.  In Michigan, Priority Health, United Healthcare, Aetna, and some Cofinity insurances will process claims without a doctor’s referral (prescription for therapy). Other insurances, like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Medicare, Priority Health-Medicare, and Medicaid, all require a prescription from your doctor.

Main therapy approach involves manual treatment, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, kinesiotaping, structural integration, body movement awareness, neuromuscular re-education and therapeutic exercise.
