OMI Physical Therapy and Sports Performance

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bashore has developed an exceptional sports performance and physical therapy clinic. We started off with a comprehensive pitching evaluation for my son from which specific drills were developed and his progress was monitored. Progress towards my sons goals were seen very quickly and led us to having Dr. Bashore perform a full fitness evaluation and creating a tailored training program for my sons specific needs. Dr. Bashore has exceeded all of our expectations. For context, I have worked with very high level athletes, including MLB players, and I can tell you that Dr. Bashore is crushing it!

Fantastic experience: Whether working with my son on baseball performance through the velocity foundation program or evaluating a lower back injury, Dr. Bashore’s professional and personable approach is outstanding. Dr. Bashore effectively communicates the importance and purpose of every movement being performed by the athlete. His specialized focus on baseball specific training has driven tremendous results in my son’s overall performance.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bashore was recommended to us by one of my son's baseball coaches. My 14 year old son had surgery on both of his knees this past December. My son has been doing physical therapy with Dr. Bashore since January and we couldn't be more pleased with the level of progress he is making. Dr. Bashore has been instrumental in my son's therapy and recovery. Dr. Bashore has worked with my son in his office and has given him a plan on exercises to do at home during the week and modifies the plan depending on the gains of my son. Dr. Bashore has been very honest with us and up front with my son about his recovery process. Dr. Bashore has developed a plan that encompasses other parts of the body and has educated us on the importance of making sure that my son doesn't develop bad habits as a result of his surgery. He speaks to my son in a manner that my son can easily understand and can relate to how it affects him. We live about an hour or so from his office and Dr. Bashore is more than accommodating to our schedules. He is quick to change his schedule to accommodate our family and our schedule, during the week and the weekend. Dr. Bashore offers feedback after therapy sessions and communicates via phone whenever needed. We are extremely pleased with the overall care and attention Dr. Bashore has given my son.

Fantastic experience: We learned about OMI and it’s owner Matt through a trusted friend and decided to take a few pitching lessons from him for my freshman son. My first impression was quickly positive as I heard Matt talk about teaching kids to know their bodies and learn how to avoid injury through exercises, strengthening , and form improvements. My son has gained velocity and confidence in a short period of time and we would recommend OMI, and Matt to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bashore provided a throwing and strength program for our 14 year old son throughout the winter months. We could not be more pleased with the progress he made. The program Dr. Bashore provided built muscle and confidence. Dr. Bashore brings a unique blend of field credibility and science to the gym, making “buy in” very easy for the athletes. My son enjoyed being pushed and new that the gains he was making throughout off-season were a direct result of the program. We can’t thank Dr. Bashore enough for his expertise and insight!
