Emerald Bay Physical Therapy is a comprehensive center for orthopedic and manual physical therapy.

We specialize in hands-on, one-on-one treatments that are specific to each patient's goals. At EBPT, we are committed to health and wellness no matter your age, lifestyle, or athletic abilities. We stand out by offering aquatic therapy in our heated therapy pool, manual therapy in private treatment rooms and a multidisciplinary wellness approach. Our focus on quality time spent listening to patients, use of critical thinking to find the cause of pain, and effective manual techniques will exceed your expectations.

Kinesiology Tape is made from a stretchy fabric with adhesive applied in a wavelike pattern on the back. When applied, the tape decompresses by gently lifting the skin underneath it, creating more space between the layers of skin and fascia and allowing for increased circulation. The tension from the tape increases the brain's awareness of the area that is taped due to heightened sensitivity.

If you suffer from dizziness or balance problems, vestibular rehabilitation may offer the help you need. In addition, dizziness and balance issues can lead to headaches and / or muscle fatigue.

LSVT BIG trains people with Parkinson's to move their bodies normally. As the disease progresses, movements get smaller and slower, yet feel normal to the involved person. This causes problems with dressing and other tasks for self-care, usual household chores, and walking. The program focuses on recalibrating the brain to understand what normal movement is.

Fantastic experience: Emerald Bay Physical Therapy in South Lake Tahoe did a great job fitting my feet for custom molded foot orthotics. The clinic skillfully fitted orthotics customized to my feet that address my specific foot issues. My new orthotic insoles provide protection against pain and injury. I highly recommend Emerald Bay Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: If I could give a higher rating I would! As an OLD adrenaline junkie I’ve been to my share of physical therapy and these ladies are head and shoulders above the rest, they’re my DREAM TEAM! They take a personal interest in your recovery with their one on one personal service, they really care, they let you know where your at and where you need improvement. Fantastic experience: Emerald Bay Physical Therapy meets all my PT needs and goals. Nancy Ng is an especially gifted physical therapist. She intuitively knows exactly how to address all areas of pain (I have cervical and lumbar spine issues). She created a workout program for me that works on strengthening and stretching exercises, and my balance, as well. Tina is sweet and accommodating scheduling appointments and Lily is wonderful at overseeing my exercise program. Everyone is kind and capable. I highly recommend Emerald Bay Physical Therapy.
