Radius Physical + Sports Rehab

Fantastic experience: You've come to the right place if you're looking for the best in physical and sports rehab. Dr. Eric and his awesome crew are knowledgeable and want to start you on your path to recovery. PT isn't supposed to be fun, but these guys listen and understand what's happening with you. Over the years, I've gone to PT places and have felt like I'm just a number. That isn't the case with Radius (and I've been coming here for quite some time now. From a work injury, old injuries, and to bug Dr. Eric). I really like that you don't get the same old cookie-cutter treatment here. You get a tailored plan that's as unique as you are, which is extremely important! I'm very grateful for finding Radius, and I know if you try them, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: What a GREAT experience I had with RADIUS. I for my first visit in a lot of pain and 4 months later, NO pain. there facility is top notch, well laid out and always hospital clean. everyone who works there had a great attitude, smile and impressive way of working with me. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to 4 physical therapy offices in Nevada County and Radius has become my favorite of all. The staff are knowledgeable, personable, punctual, and welcoming. The space is clean, the equipment is in great condition, and ample parking is available. The care that I receive from Radius has fairly quickly begun improving my symptoms. I’m not healed, but after only 6 sessions, my range of motion in my hand and wrist has increased. I spend about half the time with Serene, doing my exercises, and half the time with my physical therapist, Chris Walen, both of whom are awesome. I appreciate how Radius takes a whole body approach. Instead of only working on my wrist and elbow, Chris and Serene have given me other exercises that stretch and strengthen my back and neck muscles, too. This whole body approach is completely in line with my own thinking. I feel so grateful that my doctor referred me to them.

Fantastic experience: I was sure it was time for hip and knee replacement surgery. I couldn’t walk downstairs without grabbing a railing, and was feeling a mess. I was shocked when x-rays showed no need for surgery; my bones were fine and the Dr. suggested physical therapy. I was very skeptical, but had heard great things about Radius, so I gave it a try. Radius changed my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s pretty incredible to be able to walk down stairs again with no trouble and to sleep at night without being awakened by throbbing hip joints. I would never have guessed that a few easy exercises and a minor change at home would’ve made such a difference! Dr. Eric Dickerson explained why my knees and hips were not working correctly and made minor adjustments that felt wonderful. Serene showed me how to do the exercises Dr. Dickerson recommended and was encouraging and positive in her approach. And Karen at the front desk is a ray of smiling sunshine for those early morning visits! If you are ever in need of Physical Therapy, I recommend Radius without reservations!

Fantastic experience: When I entered Radius I came with severe lower back pain due to arthritis of the lower spine. Knowing that there weren't any viable options I sought another option...thus Radius. This place is amazing. Serene & Dr. Whalen and staff are the BEST! Through Dr. Whalen's care and Serene's exercise program which has strengthened my muscle structured, I am a "new" man. THANK YOU!
