Synovation was awarded a three year grant by the state of California to work on improving care to chronic pain patients using our multidisciplinary approach. We will be partnering with Community Health Group in San Diego County and will be collecting both clinical and utilization outcomes data.

Synovation leverages a multidisciplinary approach, using various types of therapies and techniques to address your pain. Our providers collaborate to determine the best treatment for you, and our programs focus on gaining control back in your life.

Our Educational Seminars are typically presented once or twice a month. These in-person seminars are presented by Dr. Mauro Zappaterra and they are open to anyone who is interested; you do not have to be a Synovation patient. Admission is free.

Positive experience: Update 8/8/23 increased rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Today I finally had my first appt, Danielle the receptionist is very nice & everybody that I interacted with were very nice as well. The PA Danielle A. that I had my appointment with was very helpful & she was a pleasure to work with. ......... my first 1 star review: 8/2/23 When I showed up for my first appt in June at 8:15am that was scheduled weeks before, Danielle at the front desk said "we don't have an appointment for you!" what?? So then Danielle scheduled me for Aug 2nd. 2 months pass.. My appt was at 9 am this morning & since they wasted my time driving all the way to Rancho mirage last time, I decided to call to confirm before leaving the house . The woman at Synovation answers the phone & to my surprise "No you dont have an appointment today you have been rescheduled For Next week" are you kidding me!! I had received no phone call or notice.
