Christie Clinic is one of the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty group medical practices in Illinois.

In the Department of Physical Therapy, Kristi evaluates individuals who may have mechanical, functional, or movement-related disorders. She determines and implements therapeutic interventions through the use of physical agents. She also assesses ongoing effects of treatment thereby reducing the risk of injury and promoting maintenance of fitness, health, and wellness.

I decided to become a physical therapist after volunteering at a nursing home and an outpatient clinic one summer after my junior year of college. I was impressed by the quantity and quality of time the therapists spent with each individual patient. I was amazed at how exercise could have such influence on the ease and speed of recovery.

What I enjoy most about my job is the time I get to spend with each of my patients. I feel it is important to get to know each individual by taking the time to listen to them.
