Parkview Health & Rehabilitation Center: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Merial from admissions is the best!!! She helped us with my dad from day one until he was discharged today. If we needed ANYTHING day or by and I mean ANYTHING or any help finding something she would go above and beyond to help us get the answers. She is so genuine and never turned us away ALWAYS returns your phone calls. At parkview my dad had great care and excellent PT/OT. When he got there he was not walking after surgery at all now he is strong enough to walk with assistance and transfers himself to and from walker to chairs. Also, my dad said the kitchen staff were good to him and the food was good. I like the way they served him. I would also like to thank D’Andrea the transportation coordinator for helping us with getting dad to and from appointments safely and all of the drivers were pleasant. So thank you to the rest of the staff as well. Keep up the great work!!!! ????????????
Fantastic experience: Nurses at Parkview are terrific! I can’t praise them enough! The place is really nice and clean. The food is pretty decent also which is a plus. The administration team is very nice and patient . The therapy team is also very good and they got me walking again which is helping me be able to return home. Housekeeping team also is very good. I would definitely recommend!
Fantastic experience: We were hesitant and concerned to have our family member come to a rehab facility from the hospital because of what we have heard about nursing facilities but we were happy with this facility. The staff were amazing! From the time we got here, they were welcoming and very friendly. There was open communication from the beginning with the care plan and throughout the stay until discharge. They were available by phone when needed. There was great coordination of care. We would recommend Parkview!
Fantastic experience: The staff is excellent! All my nurses including wound care, cnas, therapy, housekeeping have been wonderful. The food has really improved in the past few weeks. The admission staff and receptionist have been very helpful. This is my first time with any type of health condition and I am erg lucky to be at Parkview!
Fantastic experience: After a sudden illness which required hospitalization, my mother was transferred to Parkview Rehabilitation to rebuild her strength and continue balancing her medications due to numerous chronic medication conditions. Her medical and mental issues are complex and every staff member has shown thoroughness and care in an attempt to help her return back home. Unfortunately, she is not always cooperative, holds unrealistic expectations and fails to follow through, despite multiple efforts by the PT staff and nurses to help her. When it became clear she was not improving, she was moved to a long term care bed. I have found the staff to be persistent, empathetic, and above, all competent. Any time I have had questions or concerns, the Assistant Director of Nursing, Admissions Director, Rehab Director, Dietary Manager or Business Manager have responded promptly. In addition, I most appreciate the sense of humor by the staff, which is necessary from time to time. Timeframe Oct, 2022-Jan, 2023.
