Fantastic experience: For those who has positional vertigo, I highly recommend Kat Lantz. She is one of the Vestibular PT there. She is so nice and highly skilled. The receptionist is so nice too.

Fantastic experience: Break Through PT was wonderful to work with. Sean did an excellent job helping me work through a herniated disc in my lower back. Also the office staff were very accommodating when I had a scheduling conflict. Highly recommend them to anyone needing to help work through an injury.

Fantastic experience: Started going to Breakthrough for shoulder pain that had been getting worse over time. I was reluctant to go, waiting almost a year with the pain, but Brian's been an awesome PT and has been great at giving me new exercises and building strength. The pain has been reduced a lot since starting a few months ago. All the assistants, front office staff, and other physical therapists are super friendly and it's overall a great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I did 7 weeks of pelvic floor pt with Alli. She did a fantastic job educating and giving me exercises and tools for continued strengthening. If you’re contemplating pelvic floor pt, I would highly reccomend going for it and doing it here.

Fantastic experience: I am fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to be a repeat client for BreakThrough Physical Therapy at Preston Corners. After receiving PT both before and after surgery for my right shoulder in 2020, there was no question where I would go for PT following surgery on my left shoulder. The staff is very engaged with patients and take the time to tailor programs to meet the goals and needs on an individual level. I have never had a bad experience with the PTs, the Techs, or Office Team, and I feel like a member of the team when I am there. Fantastic experience: I had a recent flare up from an old back injury (herniated disk) and was in search of assistance ASAP. I called a few places and luckily found Breakthrough Physical Therapy. I was able to get same day appointment and was not disappointed! Brian is a great physical therapist and has helped me immensely. I was able to walk straight within a week and slowly but surely on the right track to recovery! 5/5

They were incredible kind, patient and encouraging - “graduating” the program was truly bittersweet. Please do yourself a favor and choose BreakThrough to help you on your physical therapy journey!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding. I worked with Alex Corbett. Walked in early March with major neck/arm pain from a pinched nerve. 8 weeks later, I was back to 100 percent with significant improvement along the way. Alex was amazing as is Breakthrough.

I had a pain level of 8-9 for my first appt. of lockjaw. I came out with a 3 level of pain with “at home” exercises to finish up. Alli is great!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a pinched nerve in my back that was really painful and that was keeping me from doing what I wanted to do. Alex did an outstanding job in getting me healthy and pain free.

Negative experience: The therapist was great, saw him for months for two separate issues. The first time, billing was not an issue, but the second time I didn't receive any invoices until 9 months after treatment ended. I called the Cary office asking why the delay, and she said she didn't know. I contacted the Cary office again via their chat line, asking the same question, and no response at all. Letters were mailed on Nov 30, 2022, and Feb 16, 2023, again no response! The therapists seem to be good, but the back office needs some work!

Fantastic experience: Alex worked with me on my shoulder which is doing very well. He also gave me exercises for other issues as well. I'm back to playing tennis pain free. The staff at the front desk Lori and Lilly were very nice and worked with me on payment and scheduling. I will mess seeing them all.

Fantastic experience: Breakthrough Physical Therapy is a remarkable practice, based in Cary, but well worth the drive from Raleigh. The staff there is amazing, everyone from the kind, smart, efficent women running the front desk to the awesome therapists. Alli Musser is a gem, and guided me through pelvic floor exercises; she is kind, patient, encouraging, and memorable, with the necessary theatricality of a great teacher. She also sent follow up emails and video links to help jog my memory. Highly recommend the services here on all counts! Five stars! Another point: Once we made it through my work, they moved me briskly, not trying to squeeze more visits out of me, but promptly "graduated" me from treatment. What a great and positive experienceI I'd never had PT before and wonder why I waited so long.

Fantastic experience: I had gone to Breakthrough PT for my tennis elbow and hip pain. And after a few months of physio i am pain free and i am able to run and drum without any issues. Sydney’s treatments were effective. The whole experience was positive and great. Thanks Breakthrough pediatrics. Will surely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Excellent good PT crew and extremely helpful front desk. Visited this office for a frozen shoulder due to a slap tear and overuse injury. This process takes a while to recover. Dr. Alex Corbett was able to not only get back the mobility to my left shoulder but through specific training, stretching and weight-training made it stronger. I am able to do pull-ups again and am armed with many exercises, stretches and methods to keep it strong. Thank you BreakThrough!

Kat is highly knowledgeable and skilled in vestibular rehab and made me feel at ease throughout my treatment. The exercises and techniques she provided were customized to my needs and skill level, and I could see significant improvement in my dizziness after few sessions. Kat was patient and encouraging, and she always took the time to answer my questions and explain the science behind the exercises. The entire team at Breakthrough PT was friendly and professional. The clinic is clean and well-maintained, and the staff always went out of their way to make me feel comfortable during my visits. Fantastic experience: This is your stop by place if you're in pain. Dr. Alli is awesome. She patiently listens to your concerns & answers any questions honestly at every session. She's the best at what she does! I was referred by my obgyn here for SPD during pregnancy. She gives homework exercises printed apart from working out with her & got me set until labor. Finally walking out PAINFREE! Receptionists are very friendly, way to go!!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience using Breakthrough PT at Preston Corners. I went there with a chronic stiff neck and very limited range of motion. Alex evaluated me on the first day and started an exercise and stretching plan to treat my problem. Within 6 weeks my range of motion increased significantly and my pain reduced significantly. Communication and interaction with BT was very easy and I now have a documented plan that I can use going forward to maintain my flexibility. The entire staff was wonderful and pleasant to work with. This was my first time in nearly 70 years using PT and I feel fortunate to have found a staff to help with the inevitable issues encountered as we age. Thank you to all at BT, especially Alex.

Positive experience: Alex is good. The new renovations are going on with lots of noise. The exercise area is less desired. Not clean looking and old equipment. Maybe they should have closed the place and completed their renovations.

Positive experience: I tore ligaments in both legs and needed surgery, I started at BT in Feb 2022, I just finished my sessions on Aug 4th, 2022, Ruth was absolutely amazing, she took very good care of me and made sure I was working at a pace that would help me recover, I recommend Ruth and BT in general, I also wanna thank the ladies at the front desk, Laurie and Lily, they are very friendly, professional and polite. I also want to thank Matt for taking over where Ruth left off when she had to leave to go back to school, I appreciate all your help Matt. I also wanna thank Airforce (Alex) for filling in as well when Matt was out, his session took me back to my Marine Corps workouts, thanks again Alex, I also want to thank Ana, she made sure I was iced down after each workout and offered moral and encouraging words during my workouts. Thanks again to all the staff that assisted with my recovery, I still have work to do to completely recover, but I'm definitely on my way with their help. Woo.

Fantastic experience: BreakThrough Physical Therapy have helped me tremendously over the last month and a half with my ankle. Alex made sure I also had exercises I could do at home even after finishing physical therapy, so I could continue to get stronger. The staff are all extremely nice and personable. Fantastic experience: A few days after total knee replacement surgery, I began meeting with a physical therapist in the Raleigh area, but not at BreakThrough PT. After a few weeks, my range of motion, strength, and overall condition was not improving. I decided to find a different clinic. That's when I discovered BreakThrough PT. The first two sessions with Alex were indeed a breakthrough! Alex took the time to gauge my status, determine my weaknesses, demonstrate corrective strategies, then watched as I mimicked his lessons. He corrected any improper moves. Each session ended with a few more "homework" assignments backed by follow-up instructional emails to help guide me. The people at the front desk are also helpful, upbeat, and friendly. I couldn't be more pleased with my entire BreakThrough experience.

Fantastic experience: I had lingering pain in my ankle for last 10 years and I started my physical therapy program with Alex on recommendation from Duke hospital. The results were phenomenal after doing my therapy for 3 months and I am almost cured of my chronic condition. He knows his stuff very well and more ever he is a great listener and is able to answer any of the questions during the therapy. He was able to increase the weights gradually to improve the strength of my ankle. Also he gave me home exercises as I wasnt able to come to the clinic for couple of weeks in between the sessions. Highly recommend Alex and the rest of team for the great work.

Fantastic experience: Best PT in the area. I live in Apex and have gone to 4 different PT offices and they were all meh. Matthew and Ruth do a wonderful job assessing the issue and coming up with a plan to really help you. Matthew even had me take pictures of my ergonomic setup in my home office so I could make modifications that could be contributing to my neck issues. I highly recommend the Cary location in particular.

Fantastic experience: Matt Ware provided me caring and highly effective PT, in person, virtually and beyond. It was astounding. He knew what he could do and what a doctor needed to do. He followed up. He gave me the tools to improve on my own. He was so calm and caring in a very hard hard time for me. I would recommend him 100 percent and with zero reservations. In fact, this is the first time I have posted a review of anyone but it is warranted here.

Negative experience: I was having back pain when I sneezed or took turns in bed or stood for long. I was seen by Kelley Larkin, substitute for Malissa. She was able to identify center of pain, did some alignment and then gave some warm compress with some back exercise. Next visit, when I saw Malissa for first time, she just asked me to do some exercise. She did not examine or check on anything. It felt weird, but thought she may have the notes from my earlier visit. Those exercise were something I could do at home too. So was little lost. I was expecting adjustment based on my last visit. Since the exercise left me in pain, I called office to understand what I was being treated for. They just said that they just over did, and that happens. To my surprise the exercise recommended by Malissa had name of Kelly Larkin. That clearly showed how irresponsible they are. Instead of feeling better, I felt worse.

Fantastic experience: This is a great practice. Everyone is professional and the PTs are very good. Kenny did an excellent job in helping me recover from my injury. I could feel the difference immediately after each session.

Fantastic experience: Sally Mae is awesome! I was referred to her at the beginning of the year. Sally Mae was always pleasant. She took the time to get to know me and my medical concerns instead of just giving me some exercises and send me on my way. I felt like an individual instead of a number. I'm always in pain and Sally Mae addressed my pain levels along with offering sound medical advice. She always wanted to know how I was doing before she started any treatment. She has helped me improve my situation tremendously. We need more health care professionals like Sally Mae.

Negative experience: The staff at the desk was very inconsiderate, I brought my 83 year old mother-in-law in for the first time so she had to fill out enough paperwork to be considered a mini novel and even though her hands were shaking pretty badly they did not offer to help her fill it out. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the lack of comprehensive customer service.

Fantastic experience: Kacie was a wonderful therapist for Mako. In addition to being beneficial for physical improvement, each visit was very enjoyable. Kacie has a great personality and her professional expertise shows in the results we got for rectifying Mako's torticollis in a relatively short period of time! We miss our visits but are very happy with the outcome!
