Cheyenne Regional’s team of physical therapists (PTs) and physical therapist assistants (PTAs) can help reduce pain and improve and restore mobility for patients in our care.

Using a variety of techniques, we work to actively reduce pain and improve a person’s ability to move around the home and community safely. Additionally, we offer specialty services such as pool therapy, management of leg/arm swelling and treatment to help manage dizziness.

At Cheyenne Regional, our outpatient occupational therapists (OTs) are certified hand therapists with more than 20 years of patient care experience in treating shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries, including:

Occupational therapists incorporate a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercise, physical agent modalities (ultrasound, e-stim, hot / cold), manual therapy techniques and custom braces for the arm and hand.

Our therapists work with people who have had strokes, neurological disorders, dementia, head injuries (including concussions) and other conditions. Speech and cognitive evaluations are provided to assess the patient’s condition and determine the best course of treatment.

The speech therapists help patients and their family members better understand the situation at-hand, and educate them about how they can more effectively communicate with their loved ones.
