Untapped Potential Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: Tracey has been outstanding for our newborn’s PT sessions! We are always blown away by her knowledge and how our daughter relaxes immediately beneath her touch. Our girl had some built up tension after a long/complicated birth and Tracey as well as Lillian have been instrumental in getting her (and us!) relief!

Fantastic experience: Drew is the very best. I hesitate leaving a review because I don't want you all to book him up and take him away from me! Since my spinal fusion ten years ago I have some pretty extensive experience with physical therapy outfits in the triangle and beyond. First off, if you happen to go to a PT and find yourself in a big room shared with other patients and get to see a PT for 15 minutes before being pawned off to an intern to bounce on a ball alone....run. That is not physical therapy. That is a patient mill money making enterprise and you will see no results. With UPPT, it is not like that. You get a dedicated private room with 100% 1:1 time with a therapist with no distractions. Drew will listen to your issues and come up with a treatment path. Unlike other therapist who read a book and rely upon the Maitland Concept or Mckenzie, Drew is a certified manual physical therapist. He is hands on. He addresses the condition, uses techniques like dry needling and muscle stim to relax often frozen muscles then addresses the underlying skeletal condition that is causing your problem. Then he teaches you exercises to keep your body in a good position. Totally unique approach. I have been told by many doctors I need different surgeries and Drew has been able to prove them wrong. You won't have any regrets by using UPPT. Drew has moved to Hands On Motion Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: Drew Scrimgeour is the best PT I have ever been to. I was suffering from hip/back pain for a very long time. Every other PT I had been to would give me an electric stim and then give me some exercises to do at home. Somehow, they never worked. It was Drew who correctly diagnosed my problem and fixed it. Drew is very knowledgeable and takes time to understand your problem. He is a patient listener and will correctly guide you through the recovery process. In my opinion, he is a miracle worker. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Blair for 7 months now and she is so wonderful. Warm, friendly, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable on the subject. I have been to quite a few PT people in the past, and I feel like I am in good hands with her. She took her time to learn as much as she could about my situation and has come up with simple, practical solutions that actually help. I trust her more than some of the medical doctors I went to when I was first trying to figure out what was wrong, including the specialist who sent me for an MRI. She's EXCELLENT.

Her expertise in dry needling and manual therapy are hard to find. I have seen her for multiple issues and each time she has been able to help get me pain free and back to doing the things I love.

Fantastic experience: I have seen Blair 3 times. She was referred to me by a friend. She is amazing. She takes her time and finds what is happening with your body. This is what everyone needs to do instead of surgery. PT can be preventative care and I wish more people used it that way. Blair is AMAZING!

Fantastic experience: Blair Watson is the best! I am a physical therapist myself yet I choose to go to see Blair whenever I have any orthopedic issue! You know I trust her when I put my mother and my husband in her hands as clients, and I have also highly recommended her to anyone in the triangle who has an orthopedic concern! She is super intelligent, stays on top of the latest research, extremely experienced, great at communication, great at follow-up, and provides home exercise programs that are realistic and effective. And.... her programs and her manual skills WORK! She definitely helped myself, my mother, and my husband greatly reduce pain and restore function for different conditions. Fantastic experience: Blair Watson is an excellent physical therapist! She was very attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. She provided me a home exercise program, making sure I was performing the exercises correctly with one on one attention. Blair is a pleasant, but firm therapist who got rid of my pain! While I did not personally use the dry needling, she does provide that service. She truly is the full package! You will not be disappointed.
