"I am so grateful for the nine months of physical therapy before my hysterectomy. The biofeedback, the breathing. It made all the difference. After I went home they said my breathing was great. They did a rear-wall repair, and the sling under the bladder works wonderfully. No more leakage. I only used pain meds for a couple of days. The surgery was Wednesday, went home Thursday. Did take it easy the whole first week as advised. Stopped ibuprofen after a week and a half. Cleared to drive at my two-week follow-up. Still using a stool softener.
