Leigh’s the owner of Butte Premier Physical Therapy. He grew up in Durham and returned there to live after receiving a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Chico State, as well as a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California.

Jessica attended UC Irvine for her bachelor’s degree and then attended Cerritos College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program. She practiced for five years in Huntington Beach, specializing in aquatic rehabilitation before moving her family up to Chico. She is a lover of all things water related from surfing at Bolsa Chica to swimming at Salmon Hole.

Kristin Smith is from Orange County, CA.  She attended Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT for her physical therapy degree.  She moved to Chico, CA in 2005.  Kristin has 3 children.  She loves spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and kayaking as well as reading and playing games.

Rochanne started her career working with BCBS of Utah and after 15 years she left to manage a family practice clinic for 11 years, before stepping into physical therapy billing and accounts.  She is now very happy to be a part of the BPPT team.  Rochanne enjoys studying her Bible, volunteering, family, friends, and travel.  She is blessed with 3 fantastic kiddos, and a wonderful husband.

Erik was raised in Arizona and moved to California in 2019.  He attended physical therapy school at Midwestern University in Arizona. Born in Germany, his family moved to the United States in the early 90s. He enjoys cooking, fishing, watching and playing sports, and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys interacting with people, from small talk to intellectual conversations. He speaks English, Bulgarian, and Spanish, and spends his free time traveling the world.

Mallory grew up in Los Angeles, California and received her Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Chico State University. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She enjoys cooking/baking and spending time outside hiking and running.
