Ampla Health - Chico Medical, Pediatrics, & Express

Positive experience: Dr. Singh, Nou Her (NP), and Dr. C (rheumatologist) are all really great. I've never had the receptionist/nursing staff be anything but very nice and helpful to me. I have, however, seen a patient yelling at them or even heard one yelling at them over the phone from where I was standing every single time I've been here. I can't help but think these reviews claiming they were rude all come from those individuals. As for the doctors, there are amazing ones and there are ones that think because you are a Medi-cal patient you should just be grateful they're wasting time on you. I understand - they are clearly extremely busy and must be overwhelmed, but I think everyone is deserving of health care (and compassion). I would not recommend Dr. Tyagi (I really can't overstate this - see anyone else). Getting an appointment is always difficult, sometimes scheduling more than a year out. If you aren't Medi-cal/medicare I would probably look elsewhere because of how difficult it is.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for 5 + years. I've always had great care from my doctors and the staff has always treated me really good.
