Fantastic experience: I have just been discharged from PT after Total Knee Replacement. After several recommendations from my doctor and friends I chose Joe Rattien, DPT, to be my coach. He did a great job encouraging me even though the stretching exercises were painful and difficult. But I knew they were the key getting better and with Joe’s help I have a 125 degree bend in my knee! And I’ll soon be driving again too! Thank you Joe!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Joe is the absolute best. I had a TRKR on April 26, 2024 and that following Tuesday I began PT. Dr Joe explained all exercises and was patient and kind when they were hard. He still required me to do all of them even the ones that almost had me in tears. Now at a day shy of 5 weeks I’ m at 127 ROM going up and down steps, walking with ease , and sitting bending my knee with minimal pain . I completed my last day of PT but i know if i need anything I can reach out to Dr. Joe and he will respond because that is the great PT he is.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Dr Joe about getting help with a frozen shoulder in August of 2023. He agreed to see me, and worked with me on increasing mobility in my shoulder and arm for several months (we finished up at the end of February 2024). A frozen shoulder is very painful, and sometimes the PT was as well, but it was definitely worth it. Dr Joe is knowledgeable and friendly, and interested in his patients as individuals. I would definitely recommend his services.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Joe is the best! I was having a lot pain in my shoulder and could not get any better on my own. Dr. Joe could tell exactly what was wrong with my shoulder and within no time I was able to move my arm again without any pain.

After multiple visits at chiropractors, orthopedics and massage therapist, as well as two rounds of steroid injections, Dr Joe was able to quickly realize my back/hip pain. He really took his time to figure out where the real issue was coming from and within a few treatments he had me back to myself. I am so grateful for Dr Joe. If you have acute or ongoing pain, you need to give him a chance to see what he can do for you.

He did some adjustments that have already made a huge impact after only a couple of sessions. He is attentive, skilled and very knowledgeable. I'm so grateful to have found him.

Fantastic experience: Takes the time to determine the main concern of the patient and then suggests remedies that fit that patient only and their specific need for improvement. I have had physical therapy more than once before and have never had the success in healing that I have had with this therapist. There was more pain relief and improved comfort with four visits with this therapist than with twelve visits with other physical therapy. My life is more comfortable and pain free because of the personal care i received in only four visits. Greatest experience ever.

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t able to totally straighten my knee after having total knee replacement 4 yrs ago but I can now. I’m am so amazed and thankful for his guidance and exercises to enable me to straighten my knee my gait is finally normal! He’s amazing, I couldn’t be happier!

Fantastic experience: Dr Joe was knowledgeable in finding the right spot where I was having a problem and working on it. The exercises he gave me to do on my own helped a great deal. I am still doing them to build the muscles in that area. I would recommend highly to anyone.

Fantastic experience: PT was prescribed by the Pain Clinic for my lower back pain, mostly to meet the Medicare requirement. A couple of weeks later, and Dr. Joe has me well on my way to NO pain. I do have to be diligent with my exercises, but now I know exactly what to do each day! Everything can be done in my home with things I have already (except for the 6# of rice needed for the clam shells).

Fantastic experience: I have used Dr Joe for about a decade for various issues. He is an excellent diagnostician, and in several cases better than specialists. His treatments usually work as he expects them to. If he thinks that PT will not work, he is quick to say so. Very professional five star service!

Fantastic experience: Had two reverse shoulder replacements last year, about six months apart and both recoveries went extremely well. Joe implemented the PT protocol for both surgeries at home easily. Not planning any surgeries presently but will certainly use Joe if PT is again needed.

He will come to your home and he makes an effort to schedule you as soon as possible. Dr. Joe is compassionate, a good listener and very professional. Fantastic experience: Dr. Joe is an excellent physical therapist. He listened carefully to my symptoms and treated me accordingly. He gave me exercises to help with the pain and massaged my neck and shoulders which alleviated the pain until it was gone. He is kind and has a wonderful personality. I couldn't recommend anyone else. This is my third time with him.

I live 600 miles away now and I have not been able to find a PT who can help me like Joe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any friend or family. Fantastic experience: Dr Joe was very helpful in my recovery from my 2nd hip replacement...the exercises he had me do beginning in the second week following my surgery helped to accelerate my recovery so I was able to return to normal functionality much sooner than I had experienced with the previous hip replacement. I highly recommend him if you are in need of a knowledgeable physical therapist.
