In addition to Swank Chiropractic, I saw a Physiatrist and a Physical Therapist. It was not a fast process but I am grateful that I feel better. Dr. Neill is the one that I see most of the time. He listens and offers some in office therapies to compliment the adjustments. The office is well organized. The support staff is professional. Negative experience: The worst chiropractor I’ve been to in my life , a marginalized practice with social-(racism) issues.I saw Dr.Swank the Wife and I was not able to able to move my neck for 2 weeks.If you are a person of color please expect to have and 2nd hand experience. And be rough housed when she does your adjustments. STAY away from this office and this Chiropractor.

Dr. Swank , and wife to put it simply are "relentless", my pain goes back a few decades and I truly loss hope of even mild comfort; but with a variety of procedures my pain is slowly dissipating and I finally have hope. A year and a half ago I barely walked in there due to being In such pain and agony. I couldn’t even roll over in bed without screaming. In no time at all, they got me to where I needed to be to function on a daily basis without constant pain. I still go every few weeks as I have other chronic issues that the adjustments help with. Dr. Abbie Swank is amazing though! After suffering with issues following an injury 18 months ago, she zeroed in on the problem immediately diagnosing what other practitioners had missed. She's given me techniques & therapies to use between visits. Her clinical knowledge base, bedside manner and excellent explanations are truly outstanding. I am improving and looking forward to soon being at a maintenance point. UPDATE 11/2024: Since going to this practice for several months I have also been under the care of Dr. Neill. He has really helped my pain using Dry Needling. His skill set of truly listening to my concerns and finding a solution in a compassionate manner make this an exceptional practice. Fantastic experience: Spent huge money at spine specialists in 4 years including 3-4 MRIs and countless X-rays. Seen few physical therapist and couple of chiropractor as well. I was on pain killers, muscle relaxant and few time steroids. The only option left for me was to do surgery if i don’t want to use pain killers. I wanted to give one chance bcz of my friend’s recommendation for this clinic and it worked. I have been seeing Dr Swank since last one year and 3 months, i had not single pain killer pill after getting treatment from her. Amazing results. Fantastic experience: A year and a half ago, I went to see Dr's Swank and Neil because I couldn't walk, sit, sleep, sneeze, cough or exist without being in extreme pain. Come to find out, I have compacted disc's in my lower back that affected my sciatica. If I wouldn't have found them when I did, I probably would have ended up with back surgery that wasn't necessarily what I needed at the time. After my first visit, I had a little bit of relief, which was so welcome. I went twice a week for the first few weeks and then down to once a week for the rest of the year and now it's once every 2 weeks for maintenance. That may seem a lot to you, but if your back is as bad as mine, and it keeps me out of the operating room, I'm doing it. Unless I overdo with lifting heavy things or doing a lot of yard or house work, I'm actually 95% pain free. The bonus here at Swank Chiropractic is, everyone is as nice as they could possibly be and if I might need an emergency visit for some reason, they will make room to see me. Best chiropractors and technicians and office personnel in Cary!

The last time I had this pain, it took me 6 months to heal. After seeing Dr Swank, it took only 2 weeks, and I was back running on my treadmill. Fantastic experience: This place is great, both Dr Swank and Dr Gibson are very personable and caring and do a great job. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My wife was first to try this place out and recommended it to me. My hip had gotten so bad that I could not tie my shoelace without pain and it finally started to affect my exercise routine. What I liked best is they took several x-rays, tests and measurements in the beginning and came up with a plan, including not just chiropractic adjustments but several other treatments, exercises and stretches. Fantastic experience: At 57, I am in better shape than I have been in a long time, and I owe a lot of that to Swank Chiropractic. I've been going to Swank Chiropractic Sports Medicine and Wellness Center for over a year. I started going for severe lower back pain. Dr. Swank evaluated me and made some adjustments. I was amazed at how much relief I felt on the first visit. After several follow-up adjustments, I was pain-free. I continue going to this day for routine adjustments or what I consider fixes for my daily mishaps. Speaking of getting relief on the first visit. I recently injured my leg overdoing it in the gym. Dr. Swank squeezed me into her schedule at the last minute. I limped into the office with a compression sock on my swollen leg. After the visit, I walked out, compression sock in hand, with no pain, and regained most of my mobility. Three days later, my leg felt normal, and I regained all my mobility. So, here's the thing. I injured my other leg several years ago in the same fashion. I was in pain and had almost no mobility in that leg for several weeks. This is after a trip to the ER, getting a CT and ultrasound, and seeing several doctors, but yet one trip to see Dr. Swank, and I'm back to normal in less than 72 hours. Blows my mind.

Fantastic experience: Swank Chiropractic is a wonderful practice. Staff is friendly and Dr. Swank is the best. I have Chronic neck pain which causes constant headaches. Dr. Swank was very thorough in my diagnosis and I got significant relief after my first adjustment. When you live in constant pain, that is major! I can’t speak highly enough about this practice. Fantastic experience: Entire staff is outstanding . I was at the end of my rope with treatments for my lower back I had just gotten finished with surgery and pain did not go away . Spinal decompression was my choice to see if we could do anything else. After my consultation and review of xrays the doctors gave me some hope that we can do something about the level of pain. A treatment plan was created and I began immediately. I still have a long way to go but am getting better with each treatment. Dr. Neil and staff checked up on me during a recent illness which was very encouraging and compassionate. Price is very reasonable . So as a senior that stress is removed. Vicki R
