His motivation for healthcare stems from an extensive personal struggle against his own body during his adolescence. In his youth, he visited countless doctors and underwent various tests, where unfortunately none of the doctors were able to specify what was going on. After years of tests, one doctor was able to diagnose him with a rare genetic disorder in fifteen short minutes just by listening to his symptoms.

From there on, he knew that he wanted to instill that same relief to his patients. In his free time, he loves being active by playing basketball and running with friends. He also enjoys cooking new recipes to eat… which drives him to keep being active!

Late Cancellation Policy: To optimize appointment availability for all valued patients, we have a $115 late cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 24-hours of the scheduled appointment time are considered late.

A thorough history of the chief complaint and other health history screening will be done. Followed by a movement assessment, breath work, soft tissue (IASTM and cupping if needed), adjustment, and corrective exercises.

"I initially came in to see Dr. Huynh for a shoulder injury that came from lifting weights. After I saw how diligent and passionate he was about his work, it was easy to see why he was so good at what he does. I now visit him whenever I have any sort of nagging pain and he is able to get down to the root cause of the injury and diagnose it. I initially came in for lower back pains and worked with Dr. Huynh on exercises and techniques to alleviate the pain. After the first visit, I was able to see immediate results.Most chiropractors will just adjust you and send you on your way, but with Dr. Huynh, we were able to tackle the lower back pain issue at its core and am glad to say that I no longer have this issue. Dr. Huynh will be my go-to chiropractor for any future issues I may come across and I would highly recommend Dr. Huynh for his expertise, but also his honesty in his treatments and expectations.

Dr Huynh is very professional and actually listens to your concerns. He's very patient and walks you through his exercises while being attentive to how you follow through with them/gives you constructive feedback.He was also respectful and as a person who hates being touched, he always made sure I felt okay and let me know ahead of time where he needed to adjust me, which I appreciated. I felt that I was treated very well at Dr Huynh's clinic and he also sends you home with a take-home program of exercises. I came in with hip pain and after doing his exercises 4 times a week (even though he instructed everyday), the pain in my hip has greatly improved and I am able to work out more comfortably now.I would recommend him to my friends and family.

I came in for shoulder rehab and Takashi put me through the best exercises. I am a collegiate athlete however I trust Takashi with his work and getting my shoulder right. I went in and told him what was wrong and right away he knew what exercises to put me through and he did hands on work to the shoulder which was amazing. He was very professional and easy to talk to and did a great job with my shoulder. The best part is he still keeps in touch and asks about my shoulder almost once a week and gives me more exercises to do to strengthen the shoulder.

Fantastic experience: Takashi is incredible. I came to him after feeling pains in around my groin, lower back, and under my feet, midway into the few months of marathon training I had. He then discovered that I had flat feet, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, and so much more. From there, we got right to work on exercises and stretches that would get me to marathon readiness. Never would I have imagined finishing a marathon, but I finished it; and I don't think I could have done it without Takashi. Ive been to a few different professionals and Takashi is by far the most comprehensive. He's straight forward and focuses the goals and outcomes you're trying to achieve. He really cares about making sure you have knowledge that you can keep with you for a lifetime. He writes a post op summary of everything discussed with the exercise descriptions and targets you should be aiming for. It's worth every single dollar. You won't regret it. Trust me..

Fantastic experience: Takashi is excellent and extremely knowledgeable. He is not only able to quickly diagnose your pain/issues and solve them, but also he cares tremendously about post-session follow up “homework” (which he customizes for each patient) — enabling you to continue incorporating routines into your normal day-to-day. Highly recommend at least booking one session to try. My go-to for the Bay Area

Fantastic experience: Went to Dr Takashi for some low back pain and got more than I expected. His treatment style is different from many other chiropractors I have tried in the past. I have had 3 appointments so far and each one consisted of exercises to help improve my movement and prevent future injuries! I would definitely recommend Dr. TAK if you are looking for a permanent fix to your body pain!

Fantastic experience: I was exercising and hurt my lower back pretty bad. Was referred to see Takashi and my experience was anything but amazing. With all the adjustments he’s done as well as working with my mobility and teaching me the proper forms and stretches, my lower back pain was so much better after a week. With all his techniques he’s taught me, my exercises has been better and no more lower back pain. He also does cupping therapy and Graston technique to help with my sore muscles. Will be continuing to see him!

Fantastic experience: I came to South Bay Rehab and Performance because of my recurring low back pain and sciatica. Dr. Takashi thoroughly explained his treatment plan and what I should expect as we work together. I really appreciated that he catered the treatment plan specifically to my needs. During the assessment, he was very transparent about the issues he was seeing and how we were going to address them. We followed that up with an adjustment. Don't worry if you're scared of them, he makes it easy and stress free! Lastly, we went over multiple exercises targeted at the root causes of my back pain and sciatica. Overall, it was a good first experience. I felt like I was in good hands and I'm looking forward to my next visit!
