Alden Des Plaines Rehabilitation & Health Care Center

Fantastic experience: My grandfather Willie was admitted to this facility after searching for a rehab center to assist with recovery. We picked this facility after being toured. The facility was very clean and pleasant. My grandfather can be very difficult at times. Thanks to Kat who made the admission process very smooth and transparent! Also- I would like to commend this amazing nurse Rincy (hope I spelled that right:-). She was very patient and calm when dealing with my grandfather's behaviors and was able to get him to calm down, take his medication, AND participate in therapy. The Therapy was right on point! Hand on care! They came in the next day and had my grandfather up and moving around immediately. I would whole Heartly recommend Alden Des Plaines for your loved one if you ever need to trust that your loved one would be taken care of.

Fantastic experience: The staff was attentive and friendly. The rigorous physical therapy was extremely helpful to recovery. The food was good. The administrative staff took care of all the insurance paperwork and referrals making things easier on our family. A great experience overall.

Fantastic experience: I cannot tell you how immaculate and gorgeous this place is compared to where my sister was before. Staff is awesome and attentive-she has been there less than a week, but her family can relax a bit now knowing she is in such good care. This is the type of place I would recommend to anyone. All the residents appear happy, clean and well taken care of, thank you all.

Fantastic experience: There are simply not enough words to describe how thankful I am for Alden Des Plaines, from the Director Joe, to the nurses, to the staff and Frank. My mom has been in and out of the hospital and has been to various rehab facilities, her view of rehab was get me in and out, I do not want to stay here or live out my days here. But then she was admitted to Alden and her view has completely changed. She was able to recover, and was discharged. Now being home, she is trying to figure out ways she can go back. She enjoyed the dining halls, the various fun activities, get her hair cut, and even made some friends with other patients. They listened to her needs, assisted however they could, and most of all made her feel valued and cared for. I was able to have a sense of calm knowing how well she was being taken care of, and could rely on them to tell me if there were any issues (I wasn't so fortunate at other rehabs). I've tried to write this review many times, each time tears falling from my eyes, as I can never truly express just how incredibly grateful I and my mom are. Alden Des Plaines was our blessing, and though I don't wish my mom to have to go back any time soon, I know that if she needs to, she will be well taken care of and I can rest a little easier. A big thank you again to Joe and his wonderful staff!
