Fantastic experience: After hip replacement surgery, I had the pleasure of working with Mak. I wondered if I could ever swing a golf club again or enjoy walking and playing with grandkids without pain. Working one on one with a PT certainly helped me with my recovery. She didn’t tell me to go to a corner to complete several activities on my own. Instead, she worked with me for the entire hour kindly pushing me toward progress. Three months after surgery, and I’m swinging my golf clubs, hiking the Smokey Mountains, playing with grandchildren, and enjoying daily walks. Very grateful for Mak and her disposition of life!

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to work with Makayla as a student in her PT clinic. She is one of the most genuine, caring, and intelligent people I have ever met! She treats each one of her patients with respect and truly strives to help them meet their goals. Additionally, she provides 1:1 care which is rare in most PT clinics. Fantastic experience: My doctor referred me to Makayla Palmer (Doctor of Physical Therapy) at Refine Physical Therapy and Performance in Dothan. She was a God Send! She is a one-on-one Physical Therapist so she dedicates her time completely with one patient at a time. If you’ve ever had to wait on a therapist because they have 2-3 or more patients at a time, you know the value of one-on-one sessions! Makayla is a good Christian woman who truly cares about her patients. She allowed my wife to sit in each session and explained to us both what she was going to do and why. After working with Makayla for a couple of months, and doing the exercises she recommended at home, my issue with a pinched nerve (and all resulting symptoms) were completely resolved.
