Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience. The clinic is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed and the people are kind. My physical therapy tech was a great communicator and very supportive. My physical therapist was professional, compassionate, and intuitive. He tolerated my ‘boy-mom vents’ and always asked how I was…he never pushed me hard if I was having a tough day. I am ‘gym shy’, but this place wasn’t intimidating. I felt like I was in good hands. Every time I came to this clinic, it was filled with people of different ages working hard to heal. The front desk ladies are very understanding and accommodating. (PT requires an investment of time and their flexibility made it possible for me to complete my treatment.) If I need treatment in the future I will definitely return. I’m happy to refer friends and family here. I know they’ll be well cared for. I feel better and am surprisingly down a dress size. I can keep up with my kids and their schedules. I have less anxiety when picking them up or playing referee. I’m able to play tug with my obnoxious dog without waking up in pain the next day. After completing PT I was given a care plan for home. I’m so grateful for this place.

Fantastic experience: Nichalas Lane is an amazing physical therapist! This was my first experience with needing physical therapy and he made me feel very comfortable with the process. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate with his approach and he was able to help me find relief from my back pain. If you need a physical therapist I definitely recommend Nick, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Ben Kelto. He is my reason. I was referred to Spooner by a trusted friend who between both of us- we are not in the maintenance lifestyle. This was my first experience with “maintenance”. I was experiencing pressure on my rib cage in which I was hunched over and could not breathe in fully. After a few days of suffering (because I’m an athlete and I can allow anything to heal on its own)- I touched base with Kelto. I expressed what was going on and Kelto cleared an appointment for me as soon as possible. Kelto was communicative, considerate and efficient. After my first session- I could breathe! We were able to do cupping and a few other movements and the pressure was relieved. I paid per session. Spooner was cost effective, clean and overall quality of an establishment. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Ben Kelto. I had a cervical spine surgery and Ben has been an instrumental to my recovery. He is very professional, talented, knowledgeable and helps you understand how your body heals, he does phenomenal soft tissue massage, how he implemented various exercises and takes time to answer any questions. Every single time I went to the therapy, I left feeling relaxed with less irritated nerve issues. Big part of my recovery is because of his dedication, taking the time to do the soft tissue neck massage and stretching my arm/shoulder while ensuring I improve my neck mobility every day. I’m very satisfied with my experience so far!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a couple different physical therapy offices over the last couple years for a back injury. Spooner is by far the best I’ve visited. Their professional, knowledgeable and intelligent staff always make you feel welcome. My physical therapist Carly puts together specific and effective programs at treating my back that have helped me live my life in less pain. And her tech Jacob kindly pushes me through my workouts ensuring good form! Everyone at Spooner from Karen at the front desk to the director of the clinic Ben is just awesome at what they do. Fantastic experience: I bring my mom here weekly. She is a cancer patient. I was very nervous about people being patient with her and understanding her situation. She knows what is necessary to achieve the best result in that limited “window of time” after surgery. We did hard things together and she was clear from the start that the work would pay off. And, with her help, I’m thrilled with the results. And I have to say a word about her assistant, Jacob. He, too, was focused on my improvement and so sincere about helping me reach goals. And he made those hard workouts fun, which is not easy! I’m grateful to have found both Carli and Jacob to help me and will request them again should the need arise. Highly recommend both of them!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Spooner uptown in Chandler for eight weeks. It’s a great place very friendly people very knowledgeable People. Sarah and Ally are just the best.

Negative experience: I walked in to this place being told they would not mess with my knee and listen to my doctor. I left after a few visits being hospitalized. After the first day Jessica Noel my Therapist ( who seemed nice) told me to give her a good review. That day it didn’t seem like a bad idea. They are under staffed with to many people watching and only a couple therapists ( IMHO) doing most of the work,On or about the second week Jessica would apply traction( pulling on the leg she called it). I regressed rapidly. The last day I was hunched over when I went in.. the front desk commented “ that poor man” Jessica had a assistant put me on a bike. I couldn’t peddle at all. I sat there until Jessica finally came over and she noticed my condition. She asked her assistant could he do the bike ? He sadly told her no. She then put me on a table and much to the pain, shock and injury used a ball she stated in email to apply more traction. I was in hospital for a few days and still can’t walk without being all the way hunched. I called to cancel the next morning because of my injury and was told by main reception that they don’t use terms like traction around there. Several hours later Jessica sent me email stating she indeed used traction( pulling on the leg) and if I couldn’t handle the pain to get a injection. She did not know I had in injections scheduled and had the procedure stat. The Director a gentleman named Ben Kelto called me , listened and said well you got to keep moving and that’s , that. All this avoided if they would have left the left knee alone as they were told . My doctors agreed spooners didn’t not handle this correctly and we’re trying but not specific to my case. 67 years old has really meesed me up.The added damaged caused because IMHO they just didn’t t care or listen.I had the impression Brad didn’t re care and just wanted to hear my si Been over Theree .week and have not heard back., very disappointing ..This is a additional information. The owner responded that Ben Kelto contacted me to resolve this. This is not true . He contacted me but there was no offer or mention of resolving. Here we are at lease a month later and I can no longer walk since ms, Noel applied increased traction to a knee that she was told not to do this to.I have had many medical Treatments , CT scans , MRI and my quality of life has been destroyed by there negligence . There was no effort to resolve!Bad place! IMHO

Fantastic experience: Since beginning work with Physical Therapist Ben Kelto, the amount of sharp pain and stiffness in my arthritic neck is significantly less and my range of motion much greater. Ben seemed very knowledgeable and perceptive in his initial assessment of my issue. His therapy plan, which has included dry needles with TENS, has been very effective. He's also been thoughtful and considerate about my anxiety levels during therapy which, as a senior citizen, I appreciate. Aysha has worked with me on exercises to strengthen the muscles in my neck and shoulders and has been very patient, repeatedly demonstrating how to do exercises so they're effective but don't cause more pain. I couldn't ask for anyone friendlier or more patient to work with.

Fantastic experience: My wife, Mahalakshmi(Maha) had an evaluation with Dr Jessica for severe pain in her right hand. Jessica made her feel comfortable and took her through the evaluation with ease. She taught her a few simple exercises and asked her to do it in the comfy of her home.she asked to come back for treatment if discomfort existed. The exercises are surely helping and she feels relief. Definitely recommend to reach out to Dr Jessica and the clinic, not only for the professional and effective treatment ,but also for the friendly environment .

Negative experience: The front desk girl, Lena, is terribly rude. I called to make an appointment and she has zero phone etiquette and does not know a clue about what she is supposed to be doing. My friend had the same exact experience when she called regarding her referral that Lena had left multiple voicemails regarding. I’m sure the therapists here are great, but the first experience being bad puts a bad taste in someone’s mouth.

Fantastic experience: Adam and the entire Spooner team have been amazing. Knowledgeable, thorough…they explain everything they’re doing and why, and they make you feel very comfortable with the entire process. PT can be painful and challenging as you recover from any injury, surgery or chronic issue….but Spooner made every situation better, b/c you know they care, and they tailor a plan specifically for you. I would recommend Spooner Chandler 100%.

Fantastic experience: Had a pediatric referral to the Chandler location and was pleased with the level of service and cleanliness there. I thought Mrs. Noel really understood our concern and did her best to help us help our child.

Fantastic experience: I love this facility, when most doctors gave up on my they practically pawned me off on PT and I am grateful they did. They have been patient with me and I have had some major improvements. On top of all that they have a great staff and playlist in the facility! I love working with Ben and even more importantly Aish who is literally the wind beneath our wings!

Fantastic experience: Excellent team at Spooner Chandler. Carly Szemerey provided a creative and adaptive regimen to get my daughter back to rock climbing and her normal active lifestyle. Carly went above and beyond to listen, understand, and change their plan of attack to meet my daughter's goals. Negative experience: They treated my daughter for her ankle and although she did improve, the way they treated me, as her mother, while there was plain awful. They ran my card over what I should have been charged, and also asked my kids irrelevant personal questions. Jessica was probably the worst person to talk to, wouldn't believe anything I had to say, and neither would any other PT. As if I don't know my kid. Their communication was awful and I had to repeatedly ask for notes. I was the only one showing up for appointments but for some reason they would not stop digging into my personal life and kept asking where the father was. He didn't show up to a single appointment. I was treated with so much disrespect I believe they are prejudice against women, mothers and colored people. Their father is a white male and I am a colored female. They need to treat both parties equally and with respect. Don't go here. You'll definitely be treated poorly.

Fantastic experience: Abraham Is an amazing trainer. I’ve worked with Abe for both physical therapy and for weight training for 2 years. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish and helped focus me on my form to avoid future injuries. We achieved the gains I wanted and then some!

Fantastic experience: I've returned to Spooner repeatedly and have always found relief for my pain by seeing Ben. His entire staff is dedicated to patient care and resolving pain with advanced and cutting edge methods. I've never found a more dedicated physical therapy facility, and I've had physical therapy off and on for decades with the same back problem. Spooner has provided solutions repeatedly, and I will always return to them for a tune-up when needed.

Fantastic experience: Carly has already helped me so much after just two visits! She is extremely talented and the nicest lady! When I first saw her, I was in pain even moving my neck to look in my mirrors while driving. I couldn’t focus at work the pain was so bad. But after two visits I have almost full range of motion back, I haven’t taken pain killers for my neck pain in almost a week, and I have virtually no barriers at work. I cannot thank her enough for giving me my quality of life back and I look forward to working with her more in the near future!! She is the BEST!!!

Fantastic experience: Abraham is an awesome trainer! I started here a couple months ago wanting to get back in shape. He worked hard to really challenge me and get me ready for upcoming military training. Every session was well planned out and catered around the training I was going to do. His strong motivational attitude really pushed me to do the best I could and with that I was able to perform very well in all aspects of my training. While I have worked with other trainers before Abraham has been the best in motivating me and in helping me to reach my fitness goals. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to get back in shape or wanting to start!

Fantastic experience: Abraham created an exercise plan after my rehab from a broken femur on the same leg that I had a previous knee replaced. He came up with a game plan to build strength, improve my balance and coordination. At the same time, he was innovative in adapting workouts and equipment that worked for my unique situation. With his assistance, I can now get up from a chair without leaning on a table to use my hands to help me stand up. I have also started driving again, which I thought would never happen. My family has commented on how I’m stronger now than before my accident. With his knowledge, patience, and understanding, he has improved my quality of life. Fantastic experience: I was going to Physical Therapy at Spooner PT where Abe works and asked about a reference for Functional Therapy and was lucky enough to find that he was certified for FIT - Functional Integrative Training. He has been outstanding - he has analyzed what my body can and cannot do and has developed a program that slowly but surely has helped me regain strength and movement; his patience and dedication have been a major factor in my staying with the program. I had to take a short trip and we were able to continue our training via Zoom which was super helpful. If you are looking to improve your health, become more mobile, stable, and strong, I highly recommend Abe to help you attain those goals.

Fantastic experience: Jessica and Carly worked with me and I feel really positive about the programs that we did and that I have continued at home for hip replacement, neck and shoulder. They both use dry needling as an adjunct treatment which I had never heard of before but that I feel was beneficial (I was skeptical initially)

Jessica took a lot of time to assess my situation and give me some home exercises that would help me. Who knew that there was something that I could do to improve my occasional balance issues. So glad to be working on getting rid of this - and after only one week I am already noticing a difference!

Fantastic experience: I'm undergoing PT for a torn rotator cuff and chose Spooner because it was close to home. After scheduling my first appointment I realized it would have made more sense to find a location closer to work, but it was too late to cancel so I went in for the consultation. The staff were so friendly and helpful that I decided stay with Spooner and deal with a 45 minute drive in traffic. Three sessions into therapy and I my respect and appreciation for the all the staff continues to grow.

They have been very patient with me and my range of motion is so much better now. I actually enjoy doing my therapy there because everyone from the front desk on is so friendly.

Fantastic experience: Spooner physical therapy was amazing. Ben and Abe were so accommodating and helpful in dealing with a horrible ongoing neck injury.
