Fantastic experience: Jacob Dye is not only great at implementing his craft, he also is very caring and accommodating with his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable and cares about making progress and giving better quality of life through physical therapy to his clients.

Fantastic experience: I injured my shoulder on a ski trip in April of 2023. I thought waiting it out would allow to heal on its own, but I was wrong. After seeing a specialist, I was recommended to do rehabilitation/physical therapy for a slightly torn ligament called the labrum. I waited about two months before taking things to Origin Physical Therapy since I was stubborn thinking I could figure it out on my own. But it was the best decision I’ve made. Day to day I am making progress and slowly but surely returning normal function into my shoulder range of motion, as well as reducing pain all together. I tried doing other things like postural therapy and chiropractic care, but those didn’t help in my situation as much as I’d hoped. This was a unique issue that required an expertise that I haven’t sought out before or understood myself. I chose Origin Physical Therapy since Jacob demonstrated an in depth knowledge and understanding of what the core issues were with my shoulder, and helped dispel common myths and misconceptions about muscle injuries/imbalances; establishing great credibility to me with his experience. This is something I couldn’t get at a normal physical therapist - they didn’t understand the core issues, muscles, and what exercises or strengthening required to get proper function back to my body. I generally have a disliking to them mostly because I have seen only little results. As a patient you can expect any of your questions to be answered, and as long as you stick to the plan, you will see results. Everyday I am getting stronger and I can feel less and less pain. Before, I was barely able to have any range of motion. Putting on clothes, taking a shower or even brushing my teeth were difficult. But I have made significant progress. I can see that in the near future, I will be able to do all the things I hope to being active: rock climbing, boxing, and weightlifting (more of it). For anyone that isn’t too sure about coming here, I would like you to consider it as a high priority in your life to start feeling pain free, and return to your normal active life. Pain has so many negative effects and consequences on the mind, and healing it will also heal your mind. As long as you take action, your quality of life will improve, just like mine is. I highly recommend you take your shoulder pain issues to Origin Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I am a current patient of Dr. Dye and I cannot put into words how much he has helped me but I will do my best. I injured my shoulder almost 6 months before I started seeing Dr. Dye back in May, and pretty much thought surgery was going to be my only option. I waited until the pain started restricting not only the things I love to do, but my everyday activities. I found Dr. Dye on Facebook and BOY am I glad I did. I tried many things on my own, such as stretches, limiting my movement, over the counter pain management, you name it, I tried it. Dr. Dye was able to identify my specific problem (torn tendons and ligaments in my shoulder) and create a custom treatment plan that not only addresses my injury but also incorporates my active lifestyle. I have done physical therapy before, but what Dr. Dye offers is so much more than physical therapy alone. Dr. Dye takes the time to learn what kind of lifestyle you have, what activities you enjoy, your goals, and then structures his treatment around your specific needs. Physical therapy is not “one size fits all” and Dr. Dye understands that and individualizes patient care. I love to workout, play golf, dance, and hope to soon play pickle ball and without Dr. Dye none of those things would be possible. Dr. Dye has incorporated exercises into my gym routine as well as exercises to improve my golf swing! If you’re injured or in pain, restricted in your daily activities and just not able to live life to the fullest please give Dr. Dye a shot, I promise it will be the best decision you have ever made!

Fantastic experience: Prior to coming to origin I had a year long battle with a shoulder injury from a deployment that I couldn’t get relief from with other physical therapist. Every activity from putting on a shirt to turning the wheel of my car felt like someone was driving a screw driver into my shoulder. I was constantly pausing my day to day movement of my arm to brace for the pain. I was sure I was going to need major surgery to live comfortably again. However I heard about Dr. Dye with Origin from another veteran and it has completely changed my functionality in my shoulder.

Fantastic experience: I had a shoulder injury that caused me issues when sleeping, during my workouts and general day to day movement. I had physical therapy on the same shoulder previously and the pain and movement restrictions where similar as before so I didn't see a reason waste money and time seeing a medical doctor then getting x-rays or an mri. So not having to go to a medical doctor and going straight to Dr. Jake made things much easier and less time consuming. The improvement to my shoulder is tremendous in a short time. He listens to what causes you pain or discomfort and tailors the therapy towards correcting the issue. Highly recommend going to Dr. Jake first thing.

Fantastic experience: I've dealt with shoulder problems since back in college over 10 years now. Pain during workouts, after workouts, and overall discomfort in general. I saught help from other PTs in the past and I felt a lack on individualized attention and "cookie cutter" rehab routines. After years of just working around it, I discovered Origin PT on Instagram and figured it's about time to do something about my shoulder. Their individualized approach and focus on long term solutions appealed to me so I gave them a shot. I met with Jake and the amount of detail he put into trying to understand my exact condition was refreshing. The first meeting he focused strictly on building confidence in the program which was awesome. Every session felt like I made progress and beyond that he gave space for questions and concerns I may have had which does wonders for peace of mind. I've definitely felt better since working with Jake. My shoulder has become a lot more stable, less discomfort and I'm a lot more confident going back to my normal workout routine. It's natural to be skeptical, but I always found it easier to take the logical approach; Jake gave me confidence, he made sense of my condition and the program, and I saw results. What more could you ask for? Give Origin a shot, you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Before making the decision to join Doctor Dye at Origin physical Therapy I had been dealing with back pain for over 10 years. I always thought it would go away with time or doing the traditional stretches you see everyone do but nothing would help. I even tried going to a regular physical therapist and all they did was make me do the same things I was doing and put me into the cookie cutter category without actually understanding that I was a athlete and as we all know most athletes don’t fit into that cookie cutter category. It takes somebody who has walked the athlete life to fully know and understand. I was referred to Origin Physical Therapy by friend who had recently started at Origin Physical Therapy and said the results were amazing and is the best physical therapy clinic she has been to. I made the initial Performance/physical therapy evaluation with Doctor Dye and the process couldn’t have been easier when it came to communication or the actual evaluation itself. I have been with Origin Physical Therapy for a few months now and I can truly say the process and knowledge has been the best. My back pain is going away, I am able to do movements in the gym that before would be so painful I would be resting for a few days afterwards. The knowledge and attention to detail that Doctor Dye has is second to none. And may I add he played college football and knows what it means to continue to train while recovering and healing from injury. So to finish this long story, Origin Physical Therapy has the best physical therapy clinic you could want and you should sign up, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I had been experiencing shoulder pain for many years. I had done my best with stretching, getting massages, and hydrotherapy to relieve the pain. I finally made the decision to do something about it and reached out to Jake at Origin. I chose his services because he responded quickly, was knowledgeable, and personable. He effectively made a customized treatment plan to address my concerns. Since I began the treatment I have better range of motion and zero pain. I am grateful for the knowledge and care he has provided me. My workouts have improved greatly and I feel much better. If you are someone who is on the fence about getting help I would definitely recommend Jake. I'm so glad I did.

Fantastic experience: Jacob is awesome. I have had asymmetrical shoulders due to a winged scapula for a long time. I've tried a number of things including following youtube videos, working on technique alone and asking for help with my crossfit gym. Prior to seeing Jacob, nothing really helped. Over the course of months with Jacob, I have been working on exercises and strength training to retrain my body. My shoulder is stronger and more symmetric. We have since moved on to other issues including low back pain. Any issue I have - Jacob can fix. He's amazing.

Fantastic experience: After injuring my shoulder training I found Dr. Dye online. After consultation, I was sure I found the right place. The quality of care, time allocated, willingness to listen and modify my rehab makes him the best physical therapist I have used. I am undoubted getting better as a direct result of his care. Fantastic experience: Working with Dr Jake has been proven to be very effective for me. I had years of shoulder and knee pain keep me from excelling in my workouts. Jake has gotten me back on track. The one on one appointments also made me feel like I’m not in a factory of patients like most big chain PT facilities. I can’t say enough about his technique and professionalism in the industry. Fantastic experience: Before I started physical therapy I felt defeated. I ignored my pain a little too long. I wanted to keep working out because it is my passion and therapy. Unfortunately it got to a point where I couldn’t ignore it anymore and I needed to get help, again. The main reason I sought help this time was due pain in my back and leg. But I was also struggling with pain in my shoulders, wrist, and knee. I had tried so many different treatments over the years including chiropractors, rehab, and programs at those chain physical therapy facilities. These programs always felt rushed and not individualized. I saw Origin on a Facebook ad and I decided “why not?” It was during the initial assessment with Jacob that I knew this was going to be the program for me. He didn’t just ask about my pain but he asked about what was important to me and what being pain free meant to me. Since starting Origin a few months ago, I have learned more than I had over years about my pain and body mechanics. The knowledge and guidance Jacob brought to the plate is invaluable. My journey is not over but my pain has significantly lessened. I now know how to breathe, stabilize, and lift in a way that I had not known ever before. I am able to complete my daily walks without pain. Jacob provided an individual plan for me and my needs. He spent quality time with me and I never felt rushed. Fantastic experience: Came to see them with a hurting shoulder. They quickly identified a rotator cuff problem and went to work helping me. Shoulder has improved immensely and no longer hurts. Definitely felt like my individual problem was worked on. I waited too long to start treatment but am glad I picked Origin to help.

Fantastic experience: I was having significant mobility issues with my back squat, and struggled just to get below parallel. The squat mobility exercises I tried on YouTube didn’t help, and I later found out they didn’t apply to my specific body mechanics. I was referred to Jake by a friend, and he quickly diagnose the problem areas and prescribed a combination of stretching and functional strength exercises that improved my mobility while increasing strength through my new range of motion. Most of the exercises he prescribed I hadn’t seen on YouTube, and the combination of mobility and strength, based on my specific body mechanics, allowed me to get to a comfortable below parallel squat in about 8 weeks. Jake is an extremely knowledgeable trainer who cares deeply about his clients and provides out-of-the-box solutions you won’t find with other PT’s. I would highly recommend working with him.

Fantastic experience: Jake is totally awesome!!! I threw my back out late last year when I was deadlifting at the gym. I was worried about getting back into deadlifting, cause let me tell you throwing it out like that sucked and I do not want to do it again. Jake came highly recommended from a friend at the gym, so I contacted him to see what he thought. He gave me exercises to do at home and the gym to strengthen the injured muscles and understand how not to do it again. Jake always takes the time to ask me how everything has been going and if he can do anything else to make it better. He's always responsive when I text, and overall just awesome to work with!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Origin Rehab to anyone who is dealing with an issue and is looking for a real solution to their pain. I had been going to a PT at a different office 3x a week. They mainly did dry needling, and electrical stimulation but didn't seem to address the root of the problem. After 2 months of going I was still having pain in my right hip and low back when running. I was at the point where I couldn't run one mile without having to take a break and walk. I was recommended to see Jake by a friend, and my experience was nothing like the other therapist. Jake created a program for me and thoroughly explained why I was not getting better. He then taught me all the steps I needed to take to progress back to running pain free. Having a plan in place and knowing the milestones and goals I needed to reach before increasing my running milage made all the difference in getting better.

Fantastic experience: Earlier this year I was deadlifting and felt a pull in my back. I had to stop my gym session because my back instantly started locking up on me. For the next week any bending or lifting from the ground would send a sharp pain into my low back. I went and saw Jake and after 1 session and a week of doing my exercises I was able to at least bend again without pain. Jake then worked with me to help correct my movement and progress me back to the gym lifting over the past few months. He even walked me through making changes to my gym exercises to work around my back pain. Working with Jake at Origin was a great experience and I do not think I would have been able to navigate my way back into the gym without him.

Fantastic experience: I joined the strength and performance program at Origin after doing a different online program for a few months. I have just recently gotten into weightlifting and was looking for more guidance than the app I was using was providing. I really like how the Origin's program is built for me and my goals specifically instead of the generic programs that I was using previously. It is also nice knowing if I ever get hurt, I can just see one of the therapists at Origin and they already know my skill level with lifting. Jake does my programming, and since he is also a physical therapist, he can program around any past injuries I have had easily. If you are looking for a personalized strength training program, I would highly recommend giving it a shot!

Fantastic experience: Amazing, tailored-to-you service! I came to Jake post op and needed to work on regaining and rebuilding strength. He provided me with a detailed, well laid out plan of action and every month we were able to see noticeable increases in my strength and ability. I loved being able to have a home program I could do on my own on days when I did not have appointments. The program was clear, detailed and even included demo videos and explanations. I would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Jake provided a thorough evaluation and was able to pinpoint my issue. He took the time to explain what I was experiencing and then to offer exercises to improve my injury. Since meeting with Jake and using the exercises he provided my injury has progressively improved. I’ve been able to return to many of my normal activities again!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Jake after tearing my meniscus in February. I have worked out my whole life and I wanted to make sure I got back to lifting in the gym. I was hesitant to start working out again after going through therapy, so I reached out to Origin after seeing the success other people have add. The main difference I noticed working with Jake at Origin was how much time he invested in my care. Every visit I only saw Jake and Jake only. I also never saw any other therapist, which was nice because Jake explained to on day 1 the plan for getting me back into the gym without fear of injuring myself again. Jake taught me how to move better and how to properly progress myself in the gym. The best thing about Origin is being able to do rehab while also feeling like you are still training. Jake realized how important working out is to me and he found a way for me to work around my knee until it able to heal with rehab.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Jake Dye with Origin Rehabilitation Performance. In the fall of 2021 I started experiencing really bad knee pain and swelling that affected my day to day activities. My family loves to hike and that even became difficult. I went to a doctor who told me it was just arthritis of the knees but no solutions or help. I went to a sports medicine PT and they helped relieve some of the pain and swelling but still no solution. After joining our CrossFit LT gym in April of 2022 I became frustrated that I was unable to do most exercises and the pain and swelling was becoming a problem again. I was referred to Jake Dye from our gym and it was the best decision I ever made. From the very first appointment I felt a sense of hope and comfort that I could get my knees feeling better and stronger and that I didn’t have to live with knee pain (arthritis) forever. Dr. Jake explained everything in a way I understood and created a plan that would get me back into the gym and hiking without knee pain. As each appointment came and went I little by little started seeing progress and on the days that I felt bad Dr Jake really took the time to help me realize where I started and helped me see my end goals. Every visit I noticed less pain and started to do things I enjoyed without being fearful of hurting my knees again. I had to Be patient and learn to strengthen all the little muscles around my knees. He modified workouts and warm ups every time and added extras each time as I progressed. After about 4 1/2- 5 months of seeing Dr. Jake the day finally came and I started seeing a huge difference. I am still a work in progress but I don’t wake up with knee pain anymore and I can workout without knee pain as well. Dr. Jake Dye is hands down the best physical therapist I have ever been to. His knowledge and patients and determination to get my knees feeling better was such a blessing. He was never in a rush and I felt like he really was excited for all my improvements. Working with Jake at Origin completely solved this problem. Jake at Origin was very thorough in his assessment of my shoulder, and by the end of the session I had a way better understanding of why my left shoulder was weaker than my right, and why everything I had been doing the past was not working. He explained to me the process working towards improving my movement and programmed a complete therapy program that I could add into my gym routine (this made it so convenient). I no longer deal with shoulder pain after pressing days. I would recommend Origin to anyone who wants to get back to performing at a high level or being active again!

Fantastic experience: At Origin I saw Jake as my therapist. I was a couple months into training for my marathon, averaging about 8-10 miles a day when I started getting severe pain in my right knee. I had been to a PT in the past for this issue, but it didn't seem to help. Working with Jake was such a different experience than what I was expecting. He recognized I needed to be doing some strength training and explained how this would help me improve my running. After changing my mileage and starting a weightlifting program with Jake my knee pain subsided significantly. I was able to run my marathon last month with no knee pain at all. Working with Jake at Origin completely changed my mind about physical therapy and was one of the best healthcare experiences I've had. There were no wait times, and I always had one on one attention for the duration of my appointments. He took the time to explain things fully to me, which made me feel better about my progress, and motivated me to keep working towards my goal of running a marathon. After this positive experience I decided to enroll my kids in the sports performance program that Origin offers, and they love it!

Fantastic experience: I began working with Jake at Origin after 2 attempts and months of time spent working with other physical therapists doing basic exercises. I was dealing with back pain that was keeping me from squatting or deadlifting. For over a year every time I tried to squat or deadlift, I would worry about feeling a tweak in my back that would put me down for a week or 2 and radiate pain down my leg. Working with the other therapist helped decrease my pain but it did not help me take care of the constant back tweaks when lifting. Jake’s approach at Origin was a way different experience. Jake helped me with my workout programming and found other issues outside just my back leading to the tweaks. He spent one-on-one time with me and made sure I understood how we were going to address my back pain and work back into deadlifting and squatting again. After completing my rehab with Jake I am now able to workout with the worry of pulling my back out.

Fantastic experience: Finding Jake with Origin and choosing to work with him to recover from an Achilles rupture was the best decision I've ever made. He will take the time to get to know you and provide a tailored regimen that will allow you to excel in your rehab. Jake is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to sports injuries and he cares about helping YOU reach your goals. As a self described fitness enthusiast, it was very important for me to build back my strength and confidence when working out. He's helped restore my passion for exercise and has kept me moving forward. Fantastic experience: Choosing Origin Rehabilitation and Performance was the best decision I made after tearing my ACL. I have had previous surgeries due to injuries playing college football and the difference in the way Jake treats compared to the other physical therapist I had was so much better. Jake was with every time for an hour and his ACL return to sport program not only rehabbed my knee but also included sports training which helped me feel like an athlete again right away. By the time I got back to paying football I felt I was a better overall player due to the overall training and rehab I received from Jake. Jake was also thorough in his assessment and guidelines I needed to meet before playing again which gave me the confidence I needed to trust my knee again when playing. Origin treats you like an athlete which was the most important thing for me when choosing a therapist. If you are currently doing rehab at a general rehab clinic I would definitely recommend switching and seeing Jake. His program made me realize how many things I was not doing that I should have been.

Fantastic experience: Jake at Origin is amazing! I have dealt with shoulder pain for over a year working as a radiologic technologist. I would struggle to sleep at night when laying on my right side, and I was not able to get through workouts without causing lasting pain for rest of the night. I have tried many "normal" physical therapy clinics that doctors have referred me to, but it seemed like I was doing repetitive, generic exercises and not getting the attention I needed to reach my goals. Working with Jake one-on-one for an hour was a completely different experience. He really helped teach me how to progress back to full workout in the gym and get through the workday without pain. His attention to getting to the root of the problem made me feel like he actually cared about the outcome of my treatment. Jake is now programming my workouts and fully understands my past injuries. The program that he created for me addresses my weaknesses and was made with my injury in mind so I do not get hurt again. Jake helped me reach my pain free goals, but also has taught me how to take care of my health so I don't have to deal with this problem in the future. I honestly say this was a completely different experience than any other physical therapist and I have seen (which has been A LOT) and would recommend Jake and the team at Origin Rehabilitation and Performance to anyone!
