Manual therapy is specialized technique in which therapist uses hands on treatment approach to minimize pain, trigger point, improve joint mobility, muscular flexibility and to increase active and passive range of motion. It is one-on-one treatment and beneficial for patients to promote healing and decrease pain and recovery time.

Dr. Hetal Sojitra did her B.S. in Physical therapy from M.S. University in India. She further studied in U.S. and got her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica College. She has been practicing as a Physical Therapist for over 10 years in US. She has vast of experience working as a physical therapist in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics. She has been working in outpatient setting for last 8 years. She has treated patients with all different kinds of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, post -surgical, orthopedic, and sports injuries. Dr. Sojitra uses Mackenzie approach in her treatments to benefit the patients with spine disorders. Also, she uses Maitland spinal mobilization and other manual therapy techniques. She continues to help patients heal and achieve their goals of lifelong wellness. She has great communication skills to make patients at ease. She always keeps herself educated in her field by attending seminars, events, and certifying herself. She takes pride in giving the most current up to date and evidence based care to all her patients. She holds licenses in New York and New Jersey.
