Negative experience: They lied and said my insurance covered them and then they billed my insurance and are saying I owe them $900. Stay away from this place! They lie!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love coming here and my only regret is not finding this place sooner. I have arthritis in my lumbar between numerous disc's and chiropractic adjustments have made it so I can spend more time out of bed then in it. The staff are kind, they actually listen to your concerns, and have well laid out plans for treatment. I can happily say I look forward to every single visit.

Focus is not on the patient - it's on their pocketbook. Go check out All Star Spine or Spooner Therapy instead - you will be really glad you did.

Positive experience: I had a good experience here as a first time client for massage. Edwardo was my therapist and he was thorough to find all the spots that needed attention from a back injury. He educated me a bit as well on how the chest being tight and abs and core weak affects the back. I would definitely return and request him! He had a wonderful blend of essential oils diffusing making the room very relaxing. Additionally, I had a groupon and Tyler at the front desk assisted me to fulfill it even though I had exceeded the date to redeem. If not for his help I would not have ever experienced how helpful a REAL massage can be, as I had only just completed some physical therapy for my injury. Thank you Backfit and Spine! Edwardo and Tyler! I gave just 4 stars as I met the chiropractor but he barely spoke to me except to tell me they can do xrays and other things to see if the back has other reasons for distress. I feel he should have asked me more questions as I expected more of a mini consult as I am not very informed on Chiropractic services. I am an inexperienced client in these matters and this was the chance to help me see how further services might benefit me based on my specific needs.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Backfit Ocotillo since early in the year with sciatic pain. I've been very satisfied with the care given by the entire staff as I've worked my way through a regimen of chiropractic adjustments, trigger point, therapy and massage. All have been beneficial in recuperating from debilitating pain. Tyler has been super helpful in navigating insurance issues. Dr. Grinder has been awesome not only with sciatic but other lingering back issues. Parker was terrific in explaining and administering trigger point medication. And the therapy team is top notch. Check them out, you'll be very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I found out about BackFit Health from Instagram . BackFit Health has helped me in getting rid of low back pain. I would like to thank JJ for therapy and teaching me right set of exercises as well as Dr Nathan for adjustments and other associated therapy which not only helped me with pain but also helps me prevent its onset, Its been more than 4 months i have not experienced any low back pain and i am able to comfortably drive for long distances (4 to 6hrs of sitting) well which was not the case before joining BackFit Health + Spine. Huge shout out to scheduling staff who has been very patient and helping me with scheduling/rescheduling of appointments. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Had back issues which were taken care of with physical therapy and Chiropractic. I have severe allergy problems year around. They were able to do my allergy testing in the office, and set me up with allergy desensitizing. This is the no shot method. I keep my serum in the refrigerator and take 1 spray every 2 days. Those allergies are gone. They are awesome. I really appreciate their attitude and service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had been struggling with pretty intense piriformis pain for the last two years — and was honestly pretty despondent when I walked into BackFit for help. After just a few months, the difference is night and day. JJ is an awesome physical therapist who always meets me where I’m at, and is very approachable. That’s good for me because I am literally the most awkward person in the world with my limbs and need a lot of guidance to do the moves properly. Dr. Grinder has an immense amount of knowledge and makes solid recommendations based on where you are on the healing journey. His adjustments leave me feeling amazing. Because of BackFit, I am running again and hitting the gym consistently for the first time in years. Not to mention the front desk staff — so uplifting and truly caring for everyone who walks through the door. Highly recommend BackFit!

Fantastic experience: I came in here about 3 weeks ago, dying (at least it felt like it) from a sciatica issue on my left side. But after all the procedures and exercises they taught me and did to me, I feel like dancing a jig (and I don't dance). Seriously, that voodoo that they do so well was well worth the sweat and tears! Fantastic experience: I’ve been routinely going to this location now for about 7 weeks after experiencing the worst debilitating lower back pain in my life. I couldn’t do any of the activities that I enjoy and even some that I took for granted (like standing up straight). Between the Physical therapy and Chiropractic adjustments, I’m feeling great! Pickleball, Basketball, CrossFit, and trail running I’m doing all these activities again pain free, fear free. Fantastic experience: Staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have a variety of treatments but they work to see what treatment plan is best for your situation as everyone is different. They are not a huge office which is nice so they remember your name.. I recommend that people give it a try as they do assess you at your first visit to see what options you want to pursue or work best.

Negative experience: BEWARE! I threw out my lower back and needed some relief so I called an they got me in the same day which was great. However, I spent an hour doing “assessments” and paperwork and X-rays. No adjustment, no PT. Told me I had to come back the next day. Oh I paid them $49 first. Went back the next day (today) and spent another 30 min doing more paperwork, talking about my X-rays (felt like I was in school) and a 6-month treatment plan and all the recommendations for acupuncture, tools to purchase etc. Then they finally went over financials and what do you know…they don’t take my insurance! So I basically got no relief from the pain and spent 90 minutes of my life with them before they told me they don’t accept my insurance. When you call to make an appointment as a new patient ask them that question up front! What a waste.

They also answer any further questions that I have and give insightful tips and exercises to do at home too. The office seemed to run really smoothly, I have heard stories from friends of other companies and having them having to wait long times and this with a lot of sitting time was great experience at Backfit!

I finally decided to make an appointment and they were able to see me the same day I called. Just after a few visits, I felt so much better. Staff members are wonderful. Glad I made the call. Fantastic experience: I walked in today thinking that my back was my big problem. Then I walked my way on over to Dr. G who heard me whining about my back, and very politely showed me how wrong I was. He adjusted my back, and yeah that felt good and whatever. It always does. Then he started feeling around my neck. He spent a good ten minutes finding all my loose vertebrae and just casually pushing them back into place. And then he shoved his thumb inside my neck, realigned my whole chakra, and twisted, and I swear to you I saw God. This place is awesome, and I can't wait for my next visit!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Markus, Caleb, and Ashley are excellent at their job and motivating patients to stick to their rehab plan. I had bones fused in my foot 5 years ago and have had serious back issues ever since. The surgery on my foot also resulted in serious balance, walking, and general core and right leg muscle activation issues. After three weeks of treatment I no longer have severe back pain issues and am able to do regular weekend chores. Before treatment I was pretty much on my back all weekend. With the back issues alleviated I can now work on building back the muscle memory and strength in my right leg. It is a process, not an easy fix, and the atmosphere the folks at Backfit Ocotillo create make me want to stick to my plan. Thanks guys!
