Fantastic experience: Can not recommend this place more! I’ve been seeing Kiana Wong and she has helped me tremendously. After having 3 babies, I was having pain doing the most basic activities like walking, standing up and sex to name a few. Not to mention the sneezing and coughing incidents that can happen after having babies….All of these issues have gotten significantly better and continue to improve. Kiana is so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable at each appointment. She has helped me with issues that multiple doctors told me is normal. I have come to learn that it is possible to heal after having babies and the pains are NOT “just the new normal”. Do yourself and your body a favor and do pelvic floor therapy! I will recommend Kiana every time. Dare I say she changed my life.

Fantastic experience: Sidney is wonderful to work with. I feel I was so lucky to have been referred to her as my physical therapist. Sidney is very knowledgeable, she listened to everyone of my concerns and provided me with detailed responses that I could understand. She has a great personality, is well educated, and she helped me learn how to "walk again" after my knee was replaced. The facility had plenty of space to spread out my exercises, the equipment was in new to "like new" condition, always clean. I would highly recommend this facility. My only negative experience was the two receptionists would talk about some of the patients as soon as they left the waiting area to start their private session! I was appalled to hear them laugh and gossip about a patient. I asked them not to talk about the cliental as their comments could be heard by all in the reception area and made me feel like I would be next gossiped and laughed about when I left the waiting area! The two receptionist never did talk again about the clients while I was present but I did feel a somewhat cold shoulder from them after I asked them not to laugh and gossip about the cliental. Besides this thoughtless incident, everyone and everything else was wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Everyone that works here is professional and skilled at each of their jobs. I feel comfortable with all of the DPT's, which gives me more flexibility when scheduling appts because they're all great. With such a 'deep bench', so to speak, you can't go wrong here with anyone. They are patient with me and doing the best job possible with my 65 yr old body.

Fantastic experience: These guys are great. Missy, my therapist is knowledgeable and just a nice person, the girls at the front desk are nice as they can be. The facility is clean and nice and fully equipped. Just can't say enough good things about them!

Negative experience: I went here for diastesis recti. I did all the exercises and went for months only to be told it was worse and that I wasn’t doing them right even though I did them in front of the therapists and was never once corrected so I busted my butt daily. Also two therapists contradicted each other and told me that the other had be doing wrong routines. Only one of them was special certified in it yet the other was teaching me. It was a cluster and the biggest waste of not only money but my time. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this place to waste more of my life. Better off doing YouTube diastes recti videos with people who actually know what they’re doing.

Fantastic experience: Kianna is the best, and I’d recommend her to anyone. She did a tremendous job all around and is genuinely a great human. She provided simple and understandable explanations, as well as in depth scientific knowledge whenever I was curious. She understood the needs of my body at the beginning of each appointment and made a plan as we progressed throughout the appointment. She was great in getting a real time diagnosis of my injury throughout each appointment by constantly checking in, asking how each movement/workout felt. At the end of every appointment she came up with a workout plan for me to do at home and provided links to affordable workout equipment to help as well

Fantastic experience: I saw Kianna for physical therapy for several months and could not recommend her more highly! She was super supportive, patient, personable, professional, and organized. She resolved my truly debilitating back pain after a fall, and also treated my shin splints and enabled me to run without pain for the first time in over 10 years. She does a great job of explaining the science and rationale behind her recommendations, and makes it easy for you to work on your treatment plan at home, too. This was my first experience with physical therapy, and Kianna and Private Therapy Services were such a wonderful resource throughout, I’m so grateful to have found them!

Fantastic experience: I started seeing HannahRose early on in my pregnancy for hip pain, this was after I had already been to two different PTs at other clinics with no success in alleviating my pain. HannahRose not only helped me with my hip pain, but helped educate me on all things related birth and the pelvic floor to help prepare me for delivery! Once I delivered my baby, she also helped me strengthen my core and slowly work my way back to exercising. I cannot recommend HannahRose enough for all your therapy needs!

Fantastic experience: I have benefited greatly from the knowledge and skillful compassion of my therapists helping me recover from a serious concussion which resulted in dangerous balance instability. I have experienced steady progress and my balance has been restored.

Fantastic experience: I have, unfortunately had a fair amount of PT at different places. Private PT services is extraordinary. The facility is clean and comfortable, the intake staff is warm and efficient. HannahRose is intelligent, thorough, professional and very effective. She listens, analyzes and tailors the treatment to the symptoms. She only cares for one patient at a time making sure you understand and are performing the exercises correctly. I am very glad that I am receiving therapy there.

Don’t be confused by my last name matching John’s as there is not a connection we can find.

Fantastic experience: Mary Ann is an absolute 5 out of 5 star PT. As a physical therapist myself, deciding where to go for pelvic floor PT after delivering my son was a hard decision. After our initial evaluation, I knew this was going to be a great experience. The amount of value I received each visit, the updated home programs, the hands on care… all of it was exactly what I needed. I learned so much about my own body, and now I am back to working out without any pain or discomfort. I would even say my core activation and body mechanics are even better than they were before pregnancy. So thankful for this amazing colleague and would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing pelvic floor or low back/SI pain!

Fantastic experience: I suffer from severe back and hip pain. I was referred to PTS by a friend and I am so happy to be one of their patients. From the first session I felt a difference . I would not trust anyone else to work on my aching body . They are highly educated knowledgeable experts in the field. Besides their therapeutic skills, all the staff are courteous and respectful.

Fantastic experience: Private Therapy Services is nothing shy of five star. I received amazing care from Jon several years ago for a neck injury. I made a full and quick recovery and was back to my aggressive workout routines in no time. My 10 year old son is a competitive swimmer and is currently being treated by Cody for a shoulder injury as well as general overuse injury prevention training. Cody is awesome - extremely knowledgeable, has great energy, very motivating and works very well with athletic kids! Private Therapy Services has been a saving grace for my family over the years.

Fantastic experience: The staff was amazing! I began working with the team in February 2020 in anticipation of my surgery for a torn ACL and meniscus. They were very encouraging and motivating, while setting realistic expectations. If there was ever a scheduling conflict with my primary therapist, another was able to take over without missing a beat. The administrative team was detailed and patient. I felt very supported throughout the process. The facilities were incredibly clean, up to date and I felt comfortable and safe coming in during Covid.

Fantastic experience: Recovering from Rotator Cuff surgery. Therapist is very knowledgeable and professional. A one on one experience vice waiting for the therapist to cycle back to you from other patients. I feel supported, encouraged and am seeing progress. Very clean and spacious therapy area. Appoints are easy to schedule.

Fantastic experience: I've had horrific pelvic pain. Trina is very knowledgable and skilled in assessment of the pelvic floor muscles and provides in-office and at-home exercises and techniques to alleviate the pain and strengthen all the muscles associated with the pelvic floor. I am so grateful to Trina and the Pelvic Floor Center for providing this much needed medical service, especially for women.

Positive experience: Andrea was terrific and helpful. My hip, piriformis and groin muscle is feeling better and I am sticking to my exercises. The last two session were via video...a different experience. Really just talking about the issues...new suggestions from Andrea. I like that she sent me new exercises to do...they are pictures of what I need to do and an explanation is attached to each exercise. Thanks!

The staff is highly professional, highly educated and very personable and caring at the same time. Privately owned by John Kelly, he only hires the best of the best in the industry. I also love that this practice is NOT owned by a hospital system. If you are looking for seriously good PT services, this is the best choice in Charleston.

Fantastic experience: Originally I was standoffish about physical therapy due to incidents in the past; however, that changed rapidly. Their staff has just the right attitude and relationships with their clients. The work areas are clean and bright and despite it being physical it is quite cheerful. Their machinery is current and always clean. Sessions seem to fly by and you are never pushed beyond limits that would overtire you. When a session begins you are asked “how do you feel”? And what follows seems like polite personal conversation but actually is a careful assessment of one’s physical wellbeing and an in-depth probe into precise areas you are being treated for. This also helps determine the day’s program. Each portion of your session is carefully measured and new portions are introduced as you progress in your care. Their administrative staff is professional and quite willing to book your sessions in a manner that meets your criteria and often business schedule. As I earlier said time flys, and you find yourself actually looking forward to the next appointment.

Fantastic experience: I am being treated by Dr. Mary Ann Simms and she is just fantastic. Mary Ann is very knowledgeable, very thorough and a pleasure to work with. She is highly motivating in the nicest way and I am making great progress. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I was treated by Kerri and now 8 weeks later I am almost back to 100%! She was an excellent listener and always explained what she was doing and why. I am now armed with the necessary tools to continue to treat myself at home in the final stretch. I attribute my recovery to Kerri and will recommend people to Private Therapy Services. The late appointment times are also a huge plus.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the office is absolutely wonderful and kind!! Particularly, Dr. Kerri Waegelein. She's very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. The receptionists Kelsey Crick and Lynsey McCrea are warm and friendly. Great staff!!! Highly recommend. Patients are treated with individual care and not text book cases.
