Renew Wellness offers physical therapy services in North and South Carolina that focus on preventative care, recovery, and performance training.
We are in-network with all insurances and almost all of them do not require a referral or prescription from a physician to be evaluated and treated by our licensed physiotherapists.
Physiotherapy is a type of treatment that helps improve movement and function in people who have been injured or who have problems with muscle imbalances, flexibility, or mobility. Only licensed physical therapists or physiotherapists can provide physiotherapy.
Recovery services are designed to help you get back to your normal activities as quickly as possible. Our treatments and hands-on therapies help repair soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments, improve mobility and reduce inflammation.
Preventing injuries and maintaining your health are key to staying active. A proactive visit can reveal muscle imbalances and poor movement patterns that can lead to pain, injury, or reoccurrence.
Physiotherapy is a type of physical therapy that uses exercises and other techniques to improve movement and relieve pain in people with musculoskeletal injuries or movement disorders.
There is a wide range of things that can cause pain, including acute pains, chronic nagging pains, acute sprains and strains, muscle spasms, headaches, TMJ, tennis elbow, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, low back pain, sciatica, and post-surgical operations.
You don't need a referral or prescription from a doctor to see a licensed physiotherapist in North Carolina or South Carolina. This is called Direct Access.
The cost of each session will vary depending on your health insurance plan. We accept all types of insurance, as well as out-of-pocket payments.
This is called a "Good Faith Estimate."
Each session of physiotherapy is 45 minutes of one-on-one treatment with one of our licensed physiotherapists. We also offer one-on-one 20-minute recovery sessions at an out-of-pocket charge, but still with our licensed physiotherapists.
You do not need to be a member of O2 Fitness Clubs to receive physiotherapy treatment, even though the physiotherapy clinic is located inside the gym. If you have friends or family members who need physiotherapy, they can receive treatment as well!
The most common symptom of breast cancer is a lump or mass in the breast. Other symptoms may include changes in breast size or shape, skin changes, nipple discharge, or breast pain. It is important to note that these symptoms may also be signs of other, less serious conditions. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should see a doctor for an evaluation.
If you're experiencing pain, it's important not to give up and to talk to someone you trust, whether that's a friend, family member, or medical professional.

I was dealing with lifters shoulder for a over a year before my amazing experience at Renew Wellness. Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Natalie at Renew Wellness enough!! I was dealing with pain and discomfort in my knee from a prior injury, she did a fantastic job treating and getting me back up to speed. She is a remarkable physical therapist and does a great job explaining why I was experiencing this pain, and what I can do to prevent it myself. She really cares about helping you get back to your best. You don't have to be a member of O2 Fitness (I am not) to get treated so don't let that deter you. I've been to plenty of other PT's in the Charleston area and there is no comparison, go see Natalie!

Fantastic experience: Bobby Stanley is amazing. He is the best PT and DPT. He treats the whole issue. His years of in-depth experience have obviously allowed him to specifically taylor his approach with each client to create a customized plan to target specific of areas pain, tightness and soreness. After the first treatment there was instant and immediate relief that continued until the next appointment. After the second appointment the pain ( that had been there for 20 yrs) was completely gone. After the third appointment the area required no other pain treatment, but only a bonus relaxing targeted massage. Bobby continued to treat other areas during each session that were referral pain areas- due to the years of dealing with the original issue. He is in-depth in his personalized approach. He is conscientious and professional with each client. Bobby really listens thoughtfully and applies his incredible knowledge to those issues with gentle expertise. He treats my whole family. Fantastic experience: I chose Renew Wellness, WA for my post-op hysical therapy (ACL replacement) because I loved the idea of being right by the gym equipment I want to be using like I was before the surgery. For the past 2.5 months, I’ve been working with Bobby Stanley. He’s helped me achieve full range of motion and build back enough strength to go about a low impact day. I’ve still got a few months to go, so Bobby recommended training toward the activities I miss doing regularly. I’m in a rough patch at the moment, working through tension and referred pain from ann older injury. I’ve worked with Bobby and Nikki on this, and they’re both great about listening while I try to describe what the pain feels like so they can apply the best techniques, stretches, or exercises.

Fantastic experience: Nikki is terrific and really helps my tight shoulders and neck. By deep massage and dry needling, I feel better for 3-4 days afterwards. Additionally, Nikki gives me exercises to stretch and it really helps. I highly recommend Nikki at Renew Wellness if you want relief from your pain and tightness!

Fantastic experience: Hi Have had physical therapy many times and some have been successful and others not so much. I have had the best of the best experience with Nikki. My range of motion has improved, but most importantly is the reduction in pain. I now can walk longer distances and have NO pain during the walks and at night just a small amount of discomfort. I am so glad to have met Nikki and she is so cheerful and encouraging all the time.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Nikki for about 3 months and she's been wonderful. For me, her approach works. My shoulder is still recovering but I've made so much improvement since working with her. I'm getting close to being back to 100% mobility. I would recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had three sessions at Renew to treat some chronic pain in my left shoulder and they’ve all been beneficial! Natalie has proven very knowledgeable and eager to help me resolve any concerns. I think the multifaceted treatment of dry needling, massage, and targeted stretches is loosening up the inflamed tissue, so I’m hopeful the progress will continue. Thank you Natalie and Renew!
