Progressive Physical Therapy - Charleston West

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Progressive Physical Therapy/ Novant Health Physical Therapy at Charleston West! Mandy, Andrea, and Jessica are all incredibly friendly, kind, funny, caring, understanding, and professional. I have tethered cord, EDS/hEDS, POTS, CCI, mild intellectual disability, autism, anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, and processing disorders. Because of this, I need extra support during physical therapy sessions—someone to do the exercises, stretches, and techniques with me, making sure I’m paying attention and following instructions. Mandy has been amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that she is familiar with EDS, hEDS, and POTS. She motivates me, gives me guidance, and always stays positive. She patiently shows me each exercise step-by-step, explaining exactly what to do and how to do it correctly. Her patience, calmness, and understanding make me feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident. “The way you took the time to explain every step of the process made me feel comfortable and engaged. Thank you for making physical therapy a positive experience.” Progressive Physical Therapy is more than just a clinic—it’s family to me, and it always will be!

Fantastic experience: Progressive PT is amazing! Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. Andrea was my primary therapist and helped me in so many ways. She really got to know me and what was going on and I felt like I got very thoughtful and individualized care. Not only was she able to rehab a lingering calf issue to allow me to do my first half marathon, but she also helped rehab an ankle injury that popped up 3 weeks before the race. AMAZING!! all this while helping me gain mobility in my neck which had been giving me issues for a decade. Couldn't recommend them more!!

Fantastic experience: Mandy is a great Physical Therapist! She is not just a doctor, she is a gifted healer. Very knowledgeable about a wide variety of healing techniques and found the right combination for my old injury. I didn't expect much when I started, but figured any improvement is better than the way it has been for a few years. I am pleasantly surprised to find I'm almost 100% after 8 visits and have the skills to deal with any flare ups in the future. This was not the first place I tried for therapy, but the other place had a regimented system which they were unwilling to adjust when it kept making things worse. Mandy listened and adjusted the treatment as necessary, which I'm sure is a big part of her success in getting positive results.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down my favorite clinic anywhere. I’ve been to clinics in PA, MD, NYC & SC for various sports related injuries. Generally, I know what’s going on and can tell them what different treatment I’m looking for (since I’ve probably tried most of their suggestions in other clinics already,) but will leave it up to the clinic how to treat whatever I walk in with. Mandy gave me the treatment I asked for, asked what I’d tried already and offered different options I hadn’t tried yet. Everyone is super helpful and thorough here. I’ll definitely be back!

I was in a horrible car accident that has me physical Mentally and emotional pain and the entire staff everytime i come in for pt....these guys do there job!!!...not only do they help physical...i now feel a relationship bond with progressive. I highly Rechighly Anyone who needs to get there life back on track but are having difficulties achieving small tasks to go progressive physical therapy!! I give them a 100% satisfaction guarantee. U are gonna have to participate also to see results but boy is it worth it!!..Go progressive!!

Fantastic experience: Mandy and all the staff were great. The program they designed for me was very helpful. The exercises were specific to my needs. I have been to several physical therapists over the years, and Mandy and her staff far surpassed all of them. Mandy is skilled at dry needling. Thank you to the group for easing my pain and getting me stronger.

Fantastic experience: Amazing people, very helpful, ready to answer any questions and very attentive. Amanda was very much so orientated on what helps and what doesn’t. If anything was causing issues, she would adjust it to achieve the goal of giving me a pain relieve but at the same time getting me better. Her work allowed me to get back to my normal activities and what’s most important allowed me to get good, restful sleep at night. Thank you ever so much!

Mandy is so sweet & makes sure you are getting the proper results at a comfortable pace! When I called to set up my first appointment Bree, the receptionist, was so nice & extremely helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Progressive over anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I went to this place after I had my surgery on my knee and let me tell you the lady's in this place are so nice and helpful I have been going there for awhile and love going there because they made me feel comfortable about stuff that I didn't feel comfortable about doing when I got out of surgery and I thought I wouldn't be doing anything for a long time but I was wrong they help me feel more confident about doing stuff and telling me I can do it just keep doing your stuff at home and here and look at me now I am back to work and it is because of the nice , sweet , caring and loveable lady's that work there they are the people you need to go see I got my son to go there and he loves going to see them and getting there help I would like to say thank you to them for what they have done for me and when my time is done there I will stop in if I am by there and say hi to them thank you lady's for what you have helped me with give them a raise they need it for there good customer service and skills thanks for helping me and my son keep doing what you all are doing thanks again

Fantastic experience: I had a back procedure completed in early January of 2020. For a few months after the procedure I was a bit nervous to return to normal activities and my range of motion felt very limited. I decided physical therapy was the right thing to do. From the very first session, the team at Progressive PT was attentive and so very helpful getting me back to normal day to day activities again. Each therapy session gradually pushed me to a limit that I otherwise would not have done by myself. The team also keep things fun at the same time and make the experience really enjoyable. I am so grateful for their help and would recommend Progressive to anyone needing PT.

Fantastic experience: Recently worked with Mandy and Tyler on my sciatica issues and they were great. Danielle was completely up on the insurance end which was comforting. The team really dug into my issues, listened, and solicited constant feedback and adjusted as we went along. From initial consultation through to my last appointment they provided a very pleasant atmosphere and I felt like I progressed a little more with each treatment. I would highly recommend them and if I'm ever in a position to need PT again I will return.
