Our multidisciplinary trained staff provide opportunities for individual, couple and family group counseling, education and consultation. We work in collaboration with other community services, including Lorain County Community College's Women's Link, and El Centro in helping people reach their full potential.

EMDR THERAPY NOW AVAILABE Pathways Counseling and Growth Center is excited to be able to provide EMDR therapy with Brittney Lindway. Brittney is a Certified EMDR Therapist through The Institute for Creative Mindfulness! Intake and prior insurance verification is required. What is EMDR? EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. The most widespread use of EMDR is for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Clinicians also use it in the treatment of the following conditions: Anxiety disorders: Generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias and social anxiety/phobia. Pathways Counseling & Growth Center provides body, mind and spirit-centered psychological counseling services so that individuals, couples and families can develop their full potential.

Pathways Counseling & Growth Center provides community education and consultation to other professionals. Pathways has been a member of the Lorain County Board of Mental Health since 2002 and works in collaboration with other community services. Pathways gives consumers the option of having their spiritual values included in their counseling. Pathways has a sliding fee scale for clients with low to moderate income or for clients who are underinsured or uninsured.

Service to the Community: Pathways Counseling & Growth Center provides an average of 5,000 counseling hours per year. Since its founding, Pathways Counseling & Growth Center has donated numerous hours of free counseling to the public.

Fantastic experience: Catlin has been an absolute wonder for my mental health. She is kind, understanding, respectful, intelligent, professional and an all around cheerleader, whom was not expected to be found. She will treat you with the utmost care and compassion. You definitely will NOT feel like another "patient/client" as for the establishment itself, I've been there once and was shocked at how, shall we say, underfunded it looked, but of course mental health is overlooked and underfunded all over the world. That has ZERO to do with how I was treated by the others working in the office. When I walked into the front , I was greeted with four, well dressed women who ALL stopped to look at me and say hello. I have NEVER had that kind of welcome before (even at a store where I spend money!) I appreciate all of you, that made me feel attended to and cared for. One more thing to touch on before my rambling is over, the reminder system... IS OUTSTANDING! I receive, at least, two texts to remind me of when, where and what time my upcoming appointment is. That is so unbelievably convenient. To sum this up, Catlin is above and beyond what you would expect. The atmosphere is dated, yet made to be comfortable and inviting, and is. The other staff is caring and welcoming. 5/5. Thank you, all.

Fantastic experience: Laura Skerbec is a great counselor! We have a child seeing her and another counselor at Nord Center. Pathways is on top of their game and extremely helpful! Highly recommend!
