Prior to coming to Sports and Ortho, I walked with a limp because of the Achilles tendonitis. I had swelling that reduced a lot, and I could walk and stretch much better after therapy. My limping has stopped.

Before coming to Sports and Ortho, I had limited mobility and range of motion in my shoulder. After my sessions, my range of motion was drastically increased and my mobility was back at where it was before my injury.

Only been here a few months, wasn’t expecting much as I hate meeting new people in this type of environment. However, I was surprisingly impressed. I came in with carpal tunnel syndrome, and shoulder issues, and i hardly feel the carpal tunnel in my wrists anymore.

I came in on my own with an Achilles issue, suspected tendonitis. Id been doing home self care and come to a point where nothing was improving. Lauren has helped bring me back to a point where I can walk with little to no discomfort, which is a huge improvement.

Where’s Your Pain? The team at Sports & Ortho Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine effectively treats sports injuries and all types of conditions including repetitive strain injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, pain and numbness in the extremities, foot pain, and general joint discomfort.

Fantastic experience: I spent a few months here 1-2 times per week working on some back and shoulder issues that were preventing me from enjoying tennis as much as I wanted. The staff is extraordinary at this location and I both healed up and honestly had a lot of fun. I honestly miss the crew, although I have no reason to go back since I'm feeling great! A special shout out to Aubrie, who is both a great PT and an all-around great person.

Fantastic experience: I came here after a sacral fracture and worked with Brenda and Aubrey (and sometimes Kurt!). Team here is WONDERFUL, it starts with about 30 minutes of manual therapy before you get into supervised exercises with the techs. I felt this really made sure that all of the tweaks were resolved before I started really working the muscles surrounding my injury. They were incredibly detailed and specific when addressing my pain and even when I was with someone different there was consistency in treatment.

Fantastic experience: I started physical therapy at Sports and Ortho in Evanston in late July of this year. This was about a month and a half prior to my total hip replacement surgery. When I started I could barely walk, but quickly Lauren Buck and the Team at Sports and Ortho got me to the point where I could function at work, bike and swim prior to the surgery. When Lauren initially saw me she said “either we are moving your surgery date up or we are sending you to the Emergency Room!” And candidly I did not feel that good. Fast forward to my post operative treatment (which finished last week) and I received all the same great care from Lauren, but also Brenda, Curt, Aubrie, Leah, Reyna, and Corina. They are all the best! I read another patients’ review that said they received great care and were made to feel like family. My experience was precisely the same! No chance I will ever fear a surgery knowing that my recovery will be managed by Lauren and her wonderful team. I so much appreciated all they did for me.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is beyond extraordinary! I've had two separate injuries that needed physical therapy and both have been healed thanks the the professional and curated care of the physical therapists and their techs. I've worked with both Aubrey and Kurt who are amazing physical therapists that deliver a tailored and personal approach to rehab. The techs Carina and Leah are also a joy to work with. They're always full of energy and help walk you through all the exercises and movements during the session. Overall I cannot recommend this location enough!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here treating shin splints. Brenda was my PT and she was awesome; very friendly and knowledgeable, and she figured out what was causing my issues right away. I learned a bunch of helpful strategies and exercises and have seen a lot of improvement. I also worked with Carina and Leah for exercises and they’re really great too! Everyone was just so welcoming and kind. Thank you!!
