Saint Anne's Hospital: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I have been there for several procedures. The staff is always upbeat, smiling all the time. Really puts a person fears at ease. They go over and above to be sure the patients are comfortable. The doctors and anesthesiologist are SUPER! Thank you everyone,!
Positive experience: This may be long but it's worth the read. First, the ER staff is amazing. The tests were done promptly & they were on top of everything absolutely no complaints there. Was admitted to the St. James unit. Again, no complaints. Everyone so wonderful and attentive there. We had a medical emergency and they came rushing in to help. ICU unit is also amazing and so caring. Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist were all phenomenal. Respiratory team was fantastic as well. Now, here comes the complaints. If possible, DO NOT stay in the Sacred Heart Unit (Telemetry). Absolutely terrible! The Call light was on for 42 minutes (yes we kept track) before someone came to check on us. The head nurse, she had a long white coat, older looking lady I believe her name was Ashley (blondish hair), she's just as terrible and rude! She said to let her know if we needed anything, I go tell her what we need, and she disappeared. Never to be seen again. The family room should be renamed the staff room. My family was sitting there waiting and we got booted because they were having a staff meeting. Um, the sign clearly says "FAMILY ROOM". That unit needs some serious help. First, get rid of the head nurse and everyone else who doesn't want to work. Some just sit there when you go to the desk for help and they avoid eye contact. They can't be bothered. Case Managers are also terrible.
Fantastic experience: Last week I had a surgical procedure done by Dr. Heller at the Surgi-Center. My experience from beginning to end was very positive. All the doctors and nurses were very caring and informative and really made us feel so comfortable, both physically and emotionally. My husband was able to stay with me whenever possible which was a blessing. I had no discomfort at all after the surgery. The discharge nurse was very friendly and efficient and even called my home the next day to check on me. My husband and I agreed that this time which could have been very stressful for both of us was handled beautifully by all the wonderful doctors and nurses there and for that we were very thankful.
Fantastic experience: St Anne’s was amazing. The staff esp the nurses were amazing and very thorough. Craig “David” the anesthesiologist was amazing. He has great bedside manner and always gives you comfort with his smile. Thank you for the amazing care. Of course Dr Al Jamal was amazing as usual. Thank you for such kind compassionate care. Would def use your facility again.
Positive experience: With the exception of getting my IV started (7 days between procedure and photo) I had an excellent experience with my endoscopy. Extremely caring and courteous staff.
